Starbucks

Sadly, when this is your only choice, you choose it but it’s always filthy dirty and I never get a great cappuccino from this location. It’s a high traffic location so you would think they would put their best here but I guess not. On the plus side, there is a lounge behind it and a good place to keep up your feet, watch TV and charge your devices. The lounge is dark and quaint. A good getaway in the airport.

Picked up a chocolate croissant and got back to the flight and they gave me a dry croissant. What a dissapointment. They rung me up correctly, and I was the only person in the store, but the clerk was too distracted talking to her friend I guess.

Yes, I know it’s Starbucks. What am I going to say about this place that the whole world doesn’t already know? The product is the known consistent product. But what warrants review is the fact that it was an airport location with brick & mortar quality service. I’ve been in way too many airport coffee places, and there’s no reason that service should be crap just because you’re in an airport.
I was grateful in the middle of this long trip.

Explanation of my rating system —
5*: Epitome of something, the best I’ve had, would LOVE to go back
4*: Great food and happy to go back regularly, but not the best of the category
3*: Food is fine. I may spontaneously decide to go there based on convenience. But no need to go back either.
2*: If you insist, I guess I’ll come along. I’ll find something to eat. But I wouldn’t have picked it.
1*: No plans to come back. I’ll try to talk companions out of going.

Great coffee and service. They didn’t ask for my name like other Starbucks locations, but no big deal.

What can I say in a Starbucks review that hasn’t been said already… Perhaps, that this one’s convenient and close to the Gates… ***
You can order up a Venti Americano, sit in the middle seat on the plane and bounce your legs up & down during the flight for a couple hours and bother the passengers next to you in the window an isle seats, and keep on talking too… Unless, perhaps your like me and take a nap after drinking coffee.
*** If you’re in a hurry and your flight’s already boarding try a single shot expresso…
*** Maybe your sad and missed your plane, then order an expresso for your depresso…
*** It can be expensive here; someone thought to change the name of Starbucks to Fivebucks…
Maybe I’ve had too much coffee today?!

Meh. It was coffee… same old, nothing special.

While in the Dallas airport waiting for a flight, I decided to grab some caffeine before my flight. The drinks are what you what expect at a Starbucks; however, it still infuriates me that airport locations charge more than regular locations do. Boo.
I do love that I can still use my Gold card, even at an airport location, but this doesn’t make up for jacked up prices.
The staff is always friendly, and for how busy it can get, they run the place smoothly and efficiently.

Not much to say about a Starbucks so let’s keep this practical. First off, the blueberry oatmeal has DRIED blueberries instead of fresh like at the regular stores. The pastries are Starbucks brand, but all of the lower case goods (sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, etc.) are just generic airport food. Gift cards/​gold cards are accepted for pay and will accrue stars; however, codes/​rewards/​perks can’t be redeemed. Also, the cups are weird.

Thank you Starbuck’s for being every 100 feet or so in the airport.

Fan of the food… not much on the coffee, but the staff here are great!!!

Just like any other Starbucks. Even in an airport terminal can you find a Starbucks on every corner. Just make sure you have the blonde roast available. I had to catch a flight in 10 mins and you tell me you are out of the blonde roast! «Ain’t no body got time fo that». Pike’s roast it had to be.

Best staff and baristas in the airport hands down. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Love this place!
