This place was disgusting. They had a dirty broom and trash can sitting on the counter where they serve food and customers. Service was poor at best. Beware of this location. Concourse D near gate 23.

I haven’t ate popeyes in 7 years and decided to try them again. I have not been able to leave the bed except to run to the bathroom for 12 hrs now. It will be well over 7 years before I try it again. Should change the name to poopeyes.

Needed to grab something quickly before my flight left. And lord and behold I found a Popeyes! There was only one lady ahead of me so figured that I’d be able to put my order in quickly. Apparently she only spoke Spanish and the cashier barely knew any but she still tried to communicate with her instead of getting annoyed which was great. Food came out quickly, hot, and I left satisfied considering they use powder flakes for mash potatoes and gravy and pepper to classified it as Cajun fries.

Good chicken, good bisquit, and the cajun fries are not as spicy here as they are other places. There was a little fat in the meat but every chicken place has that from time to time. Overall a nice snack to have before boarding my plane. Very helpful cashiers and server.

I love Popeye’s and was wondering why this place only has 2 stars… but it really is quite inferior to most locations(guess I shouldn’t have expected much from a tiny outpost in an airport). I got my usual 5-pc tenders combo and the chicken’s texture just wasn’t right. The tenders weren’t tender and weren’t crispy, but were tough and hard. They were like chicken hardtack. However, I was hungry and the flavor was still good, so I still ate all of them. The biscuit is as good as at any other Popeye’s, and the prices were surprisingly not inflated. Also, the other eateries in this DFW terminal aren’t exactly fantastic, so even this inferior Popeye’s is a solid choice for a quick bite while waiting for a flight.

Typical over priced airport food. It tasted fine. I’m not a huge fan of fried chicken. I ordered the chicken fingers(I think). It was way less greasy.

I hate taking orders!!! Can you come take over for me? This is what I heard as I walked up to order… lol Wait that’s not all! As I received my food my order was wrong! Then I got attitude for asking them to fix my order. I don’t cause a scene anymore Unilocal has tamed me. I’ll just vent here. So with that being said Amanda quit being lazy and if you hate your job find something else to do. I was about to finish this post but now the other girl here is slamming trash cans! Haha Maybe it’s an airport thing. I’ll say this again find another job if you do not like where you work!

The food was mediocre, but the reason I’m reviewing this so low is: 1) because they didn’t have one of the drinks they advertised, the Dr. Pepper, which is the reason I decided to order a drink(of course they didn’t say this until after I offered out). 2) they have teenie tiny print on some of the combos that says it doesn’t come with a biscuit like a combo is advertised to have. It probably costs them 10¢ which they can just add on to the cost of the meal. Really? 3) and even though they took the time to make their own ketchup brand instead of using Heinz, they still use the super annoying tiny packets that hold enough for one fry each, and only gave us three, after we had to go up there and ask for them because they don’t keep them with the other sauces and condiments at the front. This was my first and last time going to any popeyes

Heard that Popeye’s was THE place to have fried chicken in the south. Was excited to see a stand in the airport yesterday and I went for the spicy chicken with a side of red beans and rice. The beans were really good, but the chicken was SUPER bland… and I don’t know if I’ve been eating too many habaneros or what, but I couldn’t detect a hint of «spicy» until a few good seconds after swallowing, and it was mild at best. Glad I got to try it, but I can’t say I’m a fan.

I was really hungry and I had a sudden urge of fried chicken — this was the only option I had around termal E. How was the service? I thought it was okay, but cashier and workers didn’t seem too happy at all. How was the food? I ordered 2 pieces combo meal(sweet tea, biscuits, mashed potato) for $ 7.49. Hey airport food are always overpriced. Chicken meat tasted okay and mashed potato was … not that great. Maybe I will look for a healthier option next time.

This place is disgusting. dirty, worthless workers, and no sense of what the business is there for. They didn’t even have two pieces of white mean chicken in the whole store. I thought they cooked more when they ran out. Nope, just tell the customer to substitute and continue telling the next customer they don’t have what they wanted either. Nobody cleaning up, just a hot mess. All of this in a few square feet of an international airport food court. The description says they are in terminal e. I assume that is for the protection of the travellers so they won’t find the place. Stay away, anything else in the airport is going to make you feel better than this. i should have demanded my money back.
