Note: This is a relative rating. It’s airport food – the scale shifts a bit… Good food in a hurry – all that I want out a restaurant in a connecting airport. I had 45 minutes to make a connection at DFW, and I had to get one from the C gates to the A gates to do it. I was sure that I wouldn’t get any food, but I managed to get to the gate in sufficient time to get some food. Bön au Pain was the closest restaurant to the gate, and they had some decent-looking items. I orderd the Thai Chicken Wrap and ran to the plane. Not only was the wrap pretty tasty – good sauce, good combination of chicken and vegetables – but it was a good portion as well. For such a reasonable price, this was a good amount of food. I ate it on the plane and enjoyed the rest of my flight. I may or may not make it by here again, but if I’m ever rushing through the DFW airport again and make it by this location, I’ll grab a bite to eat. It isn’t gourmet dining, but it hits the spot while traveling. That’s saying something.

Ordered a Chicken Avocado sandwich, that’s what it’s called. Came without avocado. I asked if I could have something else and got a shrug. I wouldn’t care if avocados weren’t so darn expensive. Can I have some of my money back? Changed from 2 stars to 1 star. Contact ABP& told I would get a gift card refund. Sent my address and nothing ever came. ABPFAIL.

Terminal B — B20 is what my receipt says. I was traveling from Phx to Illinois on the 9th and stopped to get a cup of coffee during my layover at 12:12PM. Never again. The clerk was stocking shelves outside of the store and saw me walk up to the counter. She looked at me and kept stocking for a few more minutes rather than asking me if I needed help. When I finally spoke up and asked if I could get a cup of coffee she walked around the counter to the register but stopped along the way to fiddle with this and that — taking her sweet ass time. Stopped to wipe something up off the floor and THEN finally got to the register and without a word handed me an empty cup. I was like ok and??? I had to ask ok where’s the coffee? Without looking at me she just waved her hand behind her to the general vicinity of the coffee pots. I paid and went to get my coffee. The counter by the coffee was absolutely disgustingly filthy. The edges behind the obvious counter space looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned for months! I got my coffee and went back to my gate — sat down and took one sip of the coffee and not sure how you define fresh coffee but that swill tasted so bad that I would have sworn it was at least 2 days old. And she wasn’t busy either — so no excuse for the filth or the rudeness Rude girl + HORRIBLE coffee = NEVER again. I travel through DFW quite often and I will avoid your place like the plague from now on and will tell any fellow passengers to do the same.

Over half my BLT was bread on bread, the other half left much to be desired. I have never seen so few toppings on a sandwich before. I paid $ 7.13 for two slices of white bread, a long wait, and frowning employees. Yay layovers!

When did this chain go from consistently acceptable to plain awful? Really disappointing.

Poor service, salads were all brown and several days past the«sell by» date. We had to ask for new salads which were still unappetizing and limited in variety. Though a quick food option in-between flights, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Ordered a turkey club because it’s so hard to get wrong. It took about 30 minutes to get my food to me because they had gotten 3 orders wrong that needed to be corrected in the time I was waiting. Also, the guy calling the orders out had a thick accent and the customers(including myself) couldn’t understand if it was our order being called. As for the actual food: the meat was nearly frozen, bacon was burnt, and the bread was stale. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Horrible. Asked about latte and they tell you machine is broken. I guess it was expected for airport lvl Au Bön pain

Looks like they have a good selection. Staff however are sleeping at the counter and are coughing. Sorry but I didn’t’ try anything.

Serviceable for airport food to be sure but nothing remarkable. I ordered a Waldorf Turkey wrap(limited time item), an oatmeal raisin cookie & a bottle of water — $ 11.81. The good: The line moves pretty swiftly even when there are lots of people. The wrap I had seemed fresh and had quite a bit of flavor. The cookie was the best part, although a bit too sweet for oatmeal raisin for my tastes. The meh: Not much seating, tables not cleaned. Staff was very short and expected me to know how ordering worked. The bad: Had a small chuck of turkey cartilage in my wrap, glad I caught it before I chomped way down. :-( Overall I’d prob eat here again but it’s not like you have much choice, it’s either au Bön Pair, the Italian place next to it or Starbucks in this terminal.

Good enough for airport food. I had the chicken avocado sandwich– larger and tastier than expected.

I travel through DFW a fair amount, and always head to this Au Bön Pain if I’m hungry. Airport food is often terrible, and not even all ABPs are created equal. Something about this location is above average — good service, fresh sandwiches, and a clean and roomy eating area.

Not as good as some of the other Au Bön Pains I’ve been to. They don’t have a variety of bagels to choose from. At other locations, you get to go around and pick what cookies and pastries you want. You can’t do that here.

I usually try to write relatively detailed reviews, but I don’t think I have much to say on this place besides shrugging and«meh». Their options looked good, but the sandwich I order was just… Eh. It existed, and I ate it, but that was it. Traveling through Dallas often, I would rather take the caloric hit from another more satisfying establishment then be bored to death by a mediocre overpriced sandwich.

Turkey avocado sandwich is so yummy! It’s great for a quick grab while waiting on a flight! The workers were friendly. And I live any place that sells Kind Bars!!! :)

For an airport concession, it is better than McDonald’s and Burger King. That is not saying much. The salad I bought was not very fresh — greens were wilted and tasteless. What are you going to do when you have already rushed off to the gate? Nothing really.

Ordered a chicken avocado but when I opened the sandwich at my gate it was definitely not. There was something that looked like uncooked bacon and sriracha but no green stuff. Disappointing

The Au Bön Pain at DFW Airport Terminal A — Gate 39 has ample seating and was pleased with a surprisingly fresh chicken salad. As fresh as you can expect at an airport, for $ 10. For $ 3 found a California lemonade with real sugar instead of the gross HFCS.
