The pizza was ok, for a grab and run. The woman ringing everyone up kept turning her head and spitting on the floor/area behind her. if I had more time I would skip this place.

Skip it. Bland. Too thick, but somehow both chewy and hard at the same time. I’ve had worse, but I was ten and it was served by a lunch lady.

Though probably not the best representation of Texas cuisine, East Side Mario’s was good enough for grab ‘n go airport chow during a recent layover at DFW. We each had a bowl of chili(no beans) topped with chopped onions and shredded cheddar cheese with garlic bread and a side salad for about $ 9 apiece. Not quite sure why they claim to be an «Italian» restaurant since they seem to mostly sell hot dogs and soda, but whatever. The salad was fresh and crisp, chili was hot and tasty, service was quick and friendly, and for an airport eatery the bill was inexpensive. A-OK is right!

If I could give zero stars, I would. First, they had no organization when taking orders. When I finally get my order taken, the guy just walks away before my receipt prints.. .. And doesn’t come back. He was gone so long that I had to reach over the counter, get my receipt, dig in my bag to find a pen, and song the receipt. Still, no one around. So I place the signed copy on the register and take a seat, hoping my food will be made. The guy behind me placed two bucks on the register, on top of my receipt, for the coffee he made. I don’t blame him, I didn’t see the employee come back for another few minutes. 5 minutes pass and I see that my order isn’t being cooked. So I have to go back up there, wait for signs of life, then finally shout to the cook, asking about my order. She has no idea what I’m talking about. Horrible place!

No problem with this place. Seems like Airport restaurants stir up the worst of emotions in people. The slice of pizza I got for $ 4 was hot and fresh and the service was nice. So; 1) I was not overcharged like most Airport restaurants do 2) I was treated well for my $ 4 investment. The guy smiled and seemed proud of the slice. 3) It tasted really good and there’s no way I could have made it for myself for $ 4 with no kitchen. Napkins, parm cheese packets and crushed red pepper were all available in a large clean seating area with counter tops to eat NY style as well. I would eat here again. Not sure where the other one is in the Airport but as you can see by my receipt and photos, this one is at Terminal A Gate 38.

I don’t fly through this airport often but the choices were slim pickin’s. The pizza was by the slice and not too expensive so we gave it a shot. Not bad and definitely fast service with a nice seating area.

For a Airport pizza shop, the slice of pepperoni pizza was very good. It was hot, fresh and fast. The employees were helpful and the restaurant was clean. Not too expensive for being in an airport(I think $ 4.00 for a big slice) Would recommend if in need or want pizza on this side of the airport

A little bit of NY in a minute. For those counting its 7 mins for fresh pizza. $ 10 bucks for spag and balls?

Stuck in the airport and needed food. How bad can you screw up pasta or pizza I asked. First of all, for airport food the prices are ok. But the food sure isn’t. Chicken Parma was more like a hockey puck with cheese. The pasta was soooo overcooked and the sauce tasted like canned chopped tomatoes. Even hot peppers and Parma cheese couldn’t help it. Avoid this place

Had their breakfast. Loaded omelet and a biscuit. Also comes with a side of hash browned potatoes. Super nice folks. They bright plate to table once it was cooked. Kinda nice for a fast food style restaurant. Pizzas smelled tasty, but don’t pass over their breakfast too

Normally I pass on airport dining but I was pressed for time and was feeling hungry. So I handed over a small fortune for a hot dog, chips and drink. I must say I was quite surprised, it was very good. The chips were the prepackaged type but the hot dog was a nice size and the sauerkraut«seemed» fresh. It wouldn’t be a bad repeat If necessary.

Ugh. Do not eat here. We had a layover at DFW and remembered East Side Mario’s from a trip to Kelowna, BC. The food up there was pretty good for a chain Italian place. But, when we tried this version of the chain at the airport, the food was awful. We found the Lasagna was overly bitter and the pasta noodles themselves were mush. The tip off should have been the ¼ hot dog cooking on a roller. What type of Italian place serves hot dogs?

I’ll admit it: I had a hot dog for breakfast. At a place called Mario’s. It wasn’t the best decision I’ve ever made, and I don’t plan on making it again. It was one of those hot dogs that sits out all day on a platform made of rollers and underneath a strong heat lamp, cooking the franks into a crispy oblivion. Fortunately, it was the morning, and my hot dog wasn’t yet a rotating pile of ashes, but it wasn’t exactly fresh, either. Is there such a thing as a fresh hot dog? Even early in the morning, the seating area was dirty. I didn’t see a clean seat at first glance, so I found an empty gate nearby and ate my hot dog there. All things considered, I probably could have done worse for an airport breakfast, but I’m pretty sure I won’t be back to this particular restaurant. Fortunately, I don’t fly through DFW all that often anymore, so chances are pretty good I won’t have to worry about it for a while.

Not a very good pizza. I understand it is the airport but c’mon. The Pepperoni Pizza had no flavor. They have Lasagna, Meatballs, Penne Pasta, maybe those are good.
