After my last review, the owner contacted me to say they worked on the bruschetta recipe. Thank goodness they did! I went back a few weeks ago and ordered it again. They did rework the recipe and it really is a lot better than before. The only thing that could make it better is if they marinated the tomatoes. If they already do, they should marinate them longer. And, add a fifth piece to the plate. Food cost on this item must be super low. I want to feel like I’m getting something more substantial. I again ordered the vine ripe salad. It was tasty but looked a bit sloppy. They’ve changed the presentation and it is not as visually appealing. We also ordered the calamari. That was good. A friend ordered the calm linguini dish. She said she always orders it. Looked great. She really enjoyed it. She said the flavors are great. Service was good but we could’ve used more bottles of water for a table of 7 – 8 that was drinking wine, soda and lots of water. The bread and parsley/olive oil they serve is really good. Nice garlic flavor.

Located in a shopping center in Franklin Farm this establishment has gone through name and management changes over the years. New management went to some lengths to update the interior and extend the bar area. The menu is pretty diverse with all things Italian: pasta, pizza, calzones, salads and appetizers. Today I stopped by in the early afternoon with my daughter and ordered a Pepperoni Pizza and Spaghetti Soprano off of their lunch menu. I had the Lentil Soup with some garlic knots before the pizza was served. Hearty lunch and I’m stuffed! Normally, I’ll stop in for takeout on the way to my digs from the office. You’ll find Rachel behind the bar and she’s extremely cheery and makes for great conversation. She’s a total master at multitasking with serving patrons, taking phone orders and running to and from the kitchen. They host special events from time to time and their wine selection is rather decent. The lunch specials are good value. Lastly, don’t be like me and be overzealous and burn the inside of your mouth with hot pizza. Let it c-o-o-l down first.

Please do not offer«brunch» on your menu or any online outlet deal site because it’s not brunch when you only have a choice with 3 entrees that are very similar. We were mislead when we saw they offered brunch and an insanely limited menu.

Nice atmosphere and quality Italian meals. Definitely worth going to for a fun night out. The pizza is good(NJ guy here, so better than most) and the entrees are really great and at a reasonable price.

Piero’s is our go to place. Great service, a nice interactive owner, and the food is outstanding. Great pizza, some eclectic combos, but they will make anything the way you like it. A wide variety of selections… The bar was recently expanded and its a great location to enjoy a glass of wine and have dinner while watching the pizzas are prepared and cook in the brick oven.

This is a good Italian food place located in a shopping center in Herndon, VA. This restaurant is located to the left of the grocery store if you are turning in the parking lot. When we walked in on a Sunday after church, we were greeted and seated at a booth. The restaurant was not very crowded on this day. While we waited for my brother in law and his guest, our waiter came buy to take our drink order. I ordered a mimosa and a glass of water and my hubby just got water. My mimosa was delicious and perfectly made! While we waited we were served the house bread which was very good as well. Also, when I arrived at the restaurant, I took advantage of the Unilocal check in deal, which offered us 1 free appetizer of Bruschetta Casalinga. With this there were 4 bread/crackers topped with cheese and tomatoes. Normally when I see these fancy bread crackers, they are always too hard and crunchy to bite into but these had the perfect texture – not too hard and not too soft. The tomatoes were fresh as well. For my meal I decided to order a pizza. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and added some additional toppings, that were no extra fee. My pizza was pretty good but not the best Italian pizza I have had. I enjoyed my meal, drink, and the service here and would be inclined to come back when in Herndon.

Loved the brick fired pizza I had here. I selected the toppings and built my own, the crust were thin but you can opt to have a thick crust as well. Has a really good ambience(I was there a day before thanksgiving so maybe because of that). The service was good, and they didn’t delay at all. They also give bruschetta until your order is on the table so even if you go there hungry, you wouldn’t mind the wait(which isn’t that long anyway).

Yummi bruscheta! !! Sooo delicious and fresh tasting tomatoes that made me want to go back to Italy. The soprano dish had a better meat ball flavor in the past but the pasta still delicious.

The best thing is that there really is a Piero! Unlike chain-store Italian restaurants, this is a real neighborhood family business. The menu reflects the culinary traditions of both Piero and his wife, who come from different regions of Italy, so you’ll be sure to find something to really hit the spot. Although they’re especially well-known for their awesome, authentic pizza, you can also indulge in a wonderful array of fine entrees, including some that may be hard to find elsewhere(osso buco, for example). And the pricing is quite reasonable, too. I have been to Pieros’ on several occasions, including family gatherings and business meetings, and have always found the atmosphere to be convivial, and the wait staff to be attentive. Whether you’re looking for a place to have a quiet conversation, or a venue for a festive celebration, Piero’s has just the right ambiance. Bravo!

The private room is not private. People walk through it continuously. Other diners share your«private room». Would not book anything there again. Saving graces: desserts were very good as were the appetizers.

Did the ½ price carry out pizza on Sunday. I got the medium gorgonzola dolce. Pretty good. I don’t think I would be happy paying full price for this but the quality was worth the ½ price. The crust is better than frozen but not the best for fresh brick oven pizza.

First time back here under this new name for lunch with co-workers. Lots of selections for $ 7.95 a pop. Service was fast and the portions large for this price. I had the chicken Parmesan sandwich and could only finish half of it. Similar case for others in my group. My sandwich was fresh with a lightly breaded cutlet. Everyone commented on the speed of service, quality of food and reasonable prices. We’ll be back again and again.

We recently visited here for lunch and Sunday brunch the following day(used groupon for brunch deal). The server who greeted us the first time was really nice and friendly(wears glasses). He was very engaged and also recommend a few entrees for us to try. we ended up getting their popular Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Everything tastes very fresh but meat was very blend and probably could use a bit more of favor & cheese. We had a check in offer from Unilocal and got a free appetizer, mini bruschetta was topped with again very fresh vegetables and was delicious & flavorful. We came back the next day to use the groupon purchased. Restaurant was busier for Sunday brunch and we had an entrée and sides with mimosas. Food was okay and price is very reasonable. We had a different server and he was rather short & unfriendly and inattentive.

Stopped by for carry-out pizzas. Here’s what we ordered: Pepperonata(large is $ 13.50) says it’s topped with«sizzling pepperoni». Ours had a skimpy portion all on one side of the pizza. It’s like the entire pizza had been tilted — everything slid to one side. Of the two though, this was my favorite and tasted pretty good once we rearranged the entire top. Palermo(large is $ 15.75) is topped with fried eggplant, ricotta, sauce and cheese. This probably would have been better eaten in-house and not 15 minutes later at home, as the eggplant had lost its crispiness and was generally just chewy. Not a great combination. No topping slide here. Maybe pizzas to go aren’t their specialty. We were lured in by a BOGO carry-out pizza offer in ValPak — note that it has a $ 9 discount limit, which is actually $ 3 less than their lowest price pizza. So why even call it BOGO at all? Too many other delicious carry out pizza places in the area to settle. We won’t be going back.

Great restaurant! These folks know how to make great food and always provide great service. I am a regular lunchtime customer and make it there 3 times per week even though I live in Reston. The trip is well worth it. Over the years I’ve gone to a great many excellent Italian restaurants — like Il Cigno at Lake Anne plaza in Reston(closed for many years). Piero’s Corners stands at the top of my current list. Their soup is superb; I start every meal with either the Lentil or Pasta & Fagioli although the Lobster and Minestrone are also great. I started eating their great pizza but soon moved onto their $ 7.95 lunch specials. Right now I’m into eating seafood and find the 2 salmon specials to be particularly tasty and well prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes great, authentic Italian food; particularly to those who miss Il Cigno as much as I do.

Piero’s is great! I love going there, especially with a coupon from specialicious or any of those deal sites. I love getting the mussel bowl as a sharing appetizer. Forget the free pesto/oil dipping sauce they give you, I save the bread just to dip in the mussel bowl broth! Yummm! I’ve only had a few of their pastas and entrees, but everything that I have had was delicious. The seafood pasta, scallops carbonara, meatballs, lobster ravioli. All amazing. Next time I go, I’ll have to try some wine and dessert! The place is dimly lit and it gives a cozy, private feeling. You probably will not need a reservation, but it can get quite busy sometimes. I have had good to decent service everytime I have been there. I highly recommend looking for the coupon deal(something like $ 40 worth of food for $ 20) and going to Piero’s for a nice pasta/Italian dinner!

Piero’s was just OK. The food was good, but nothing special. They do have some great lobster deals each week, which I think is the main draw, but otherwise, they’re a pretty run-of-the-mill Italian joint that doesn’t even serve tortellini. The pizza is very mediocre. It starts off pretty decent, but it’s overly greasy and therefore the thin crust gets soggy quickly after the first couple of pieces. It all ends up being a bit of a mess. The one thing I DID really like is the bread dip. A lot of places give you some oil and herbs to dip your bread in, but Piero’s puts SPINACH in it. Straight up baller. Piero’s just isn’t worth fighting the traffic on Fairfax County Parkway to get over to its tucked away, inconvenient location. If you want to get $ 3 – 4 off what you’d normally pay for lobster, go on lobster night, but otherwise make pasta at home(speaking of a huge discount) or get much better pizza elsewhere. If you DO really want some pasta out at a restaurant, I recommend Pomodoro’s over by Dulles Town Center.
