Had burritos and a chicken quesadilla. Food was delicious. Salsa was tasty. Wish they had unsweet tea. The cashier was friendly. All of the customers really seemed to be enjoying their food.

Very good food and not too expensive! Don’t be fooled by the size of the place. Was busy but we found a place to sit and enjoy our food.

The surroundings are pure Formica, but the food is excellent! Based on recommendations here on Unilocal I ordered the Super Fries and was not disappointed. Are they authentically Mexican? Who cares! Delicious. I wanted to explore the rest of the menu(Flying Saucer tostado?) but was just too full.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover! This place has awesome food! The Super Fries are absolutely amazing! Easily one of Glenwood’s best kept secrets.

Stopped in here based on Unilocal reviews. We are on a road trip and don’t want burgers again tonight. This is your basic walk up and order and take it to your table. Some other reviewer remarked that this was not good food or authentic. Well it is authentic and it was very good. The wife ordered fish taco plate with received beans and rice. I had the chilli relleno plate. The wife said her fish tacos were great and the rice was some of the best Spanish type we have had. My chilli relleno was very tasty. It came with warm corn tortillas, Pico de gallo, lettuce, guacamole and sour crime. The sauces they provide, tomatillo, and red tomato are by far the best we have ever had any where. They also gave pickled jalapeño and carrot, and if you can handle them, some roasted seranos. We tried them all. Spectacular. If you don’t mind a run of the mill interior, this is a good meal.

Excellent street tacos, especially considering the location. Great place to get real, authentic mexican food. Carne Asada and Carnitas tacos topped with fresh Pico and Guac. Muy Rico!

This is roadside Mexican fast food at its best. Food is served on plastic plates and plastic utensils are available. Not exactly environmentally friendly, but less clean up for them I suppose. The most important thing for a restaurant though, in my opinion, is the food, and Jilbertitos delivered. I ordered the carnitas plate, which comes with carnitas, rice, refried beans, the usual«side salad» of iceberg lettuce and tomatoes, and seemingly a tomatillo salsa poured over the salad. I grabbed some chiles y zanahoria curtido from the salsa bar for a bit of spiciness. Everything on this friggin plate was delicious. I live in Texas, and I don’t do gringo joints, so I know good, authentic Mexican food when I taste it. This was it. Yea, I’d come back here if I visited Glenwood Springs again.

Come here a couple times a week after work for dinner! I have to say, being from California, these are the best tacos and Mexican food in general that I’ve had out here in Colorado! I highly recommend their nachos, fries, and rolled tacos. Their guacamole is also DELICIOUS! Thank you so much! Keep it up guys!

I think I’ll just wait ’till I get home to eat Mexican from now on. These side of the highway shops just don’t cut it. Some bites of salsa were fishy tasting.

Hands down, best tacos in Colorado. Maybe the best carnitas I’ve ever had. I would be here weekly if it wasn’t so far away. If you’re anywhere near Glenwood Springs, it’s worth the stop(right off I-70). Everything on the menu looks amazing, but the carnitas tacos are my go-to and have never disappointed(a side order of rice and fantastic beans rounds out the meal). It doesn’t look like much, but it’s clean, friendly and authentic. It’s great to have an oasis on the food desert that is I-70. Go here.

Decent Mexican food in the area. Super fries or super nachos are legit. If you’re a bean cheese burrito person you’ll like it.

Restaurant appearance/décor: not so good. But don’t let that fool you. I just had the best chicken enchiladas I’ve had in a very long time. Yummy!

The carne asada tacos were amazing! I am a SoCal native and these tasted just like the kind my Mexican grandma would make. The rice was perfect, and the chiles were good too. The only flaw was runny refried beans, but I was willing to overlook that mistake as the tacos and rice were perfect.

We were on our way home from a long trip and my daughter wanted tacos. I looked up on Unilocal and found Jibertitos. I ordered to go. I brought home 4 hard tacos, shredded beaf and chicken and a taco salad. They were all very delicious. My daughter is 8 and she only likes Taco Bell tacos. This was the first time in her 8 years where she ate a real taco and liked it. I must say that the food here is really good. I loved my salad and my mom-in-law also liked her tacos.

Typical hole in the wall mexican restaurant… BUT in a mountain town… and actually authentic. What? Is this real life? Love it. I am from southern New Mexico and CRAVE delicious mexican food but am unfortunately let down most of the time – but this place passes the test. I ordered the cheese enchiladas which were smothered in a heaping serving of delicious red chile, tomatoes, and lettuce. My boyfriend got the super breakfast burrito which he really enjoyed, and I was a fan of too. It would be nice if it came with green or red chile on the inside, but that’s just me being a bfast burrito snobs… they do have a salsa/pickled jalepeno bar in the restaurant though, so it’s not completely unforgivable. Overall, this place is a great authentic mexican restaurant and worth the drive out of the«core» of Glenwood if you’re going to Hanging Lake or the various activities around the town.

Yet again, I’m disappointed by other Unilocal users. I’m starting to question the taste buds of the people here in Colorado. The food was good. Not spectacular, pretty standard. The menu was basic without any frills, but I didn’t expect much more than that coming in. The food was seasoned, but only slightly. It wasn’t as good as other users made out. I ordered a taco and enchilada plate with a chili rellino on the side. The chili was prepared correctly, but bland. The taco had a fresh fried shell, which was great, but it too was bland. As was the enchilada. All in all, it was ok. Nothing impressive, but solid inexpensive food.
