Great Mexican food! Probably the best I’ve had on the western slope! Don’t pass this restaurant by when in Glenwood Springs– a must visit for great Mexican food!

Best quesadilla I have eaten in some time. The steak and guacamole tasted great. Huge portions and great service. After doing the bike ride in the canyon we were very hungry. Great service. The salsa was good, but the slaw salsa was unreal. Never had anything like it before. It was really special. The chips were ok nothing special.

Service was fine. No complaints about the waitress. The salsa was not good, it was way too watery and oniony. Food portions were generous. Food taste was ok, nothing special. It was kind of expensive so I’d probably not go back.

Our waiter was very very rude, the food was small portioned and cold and to prices are very very high. Now I understand Glenwood Springs is a tourist area, but to pay almost $ 11 for nacho is wayyyyyy too much!!! We will NEVEREVER go here again! I rather be hungry(yes, it’s that bad!)

Portions are decent, staff is friendly, however, their menu items are very expensive compared to other restaurants. 3 tacos are $ 15? Seriously? It’s not even that expensive for pseudo Mexican in Denver! I just ordered app with a beer. Probs won’t return. No loss there.

4 stars for the authentic Mexican food. Every time I am in Glenwood Springs we have to eat here! Really generous portions. Killer homemade chips and salsa. Big tasty margaritas. Fast, really friendly service. See you next time!

The food was good. Not the best, but good. We had a large party of 7. There was no wait and they sat us immediately. The server was great!(Which explains the 5 stars) The staff had a great team. Many of them helped us it was all very smooth. They were on top of everything. In our party we also had a birthday. They completely surprised us with a big sombrero and a singing happy birthday in English and Spanish. It was fun and exciting. Thank you for a great experience!

We enjoyed the food and the service. We were mostly interested in the drinks(margaritas and piña colada). I had Mushrooms and Baby Octopus; my wife had mushrooms, which were prepared with butter, garlic, and spices. Both were very enjoyable. Service was prompt and friendly. We will be back.

Very authentic food. Service was slow but the restaurant was busy. One plate is probably enough for 2 people. Worker were all super nice. We plan to come back here.

I’m only giving it one because I have to give it something. Rude staff and worst experience i have had and I grew up in this town. should have gone to qdoba would have had better service less cost and better food

A good all around Mexican restaurant. They have responsive and quick service. It’s a good stop after hitting Iron Mountain Hot Springs.

Lots of food and fast, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. Given the town, I would still say one of your better choices.

Best mex food in a long time! Fast service, friendly, prices are reasonable, and the food just tasted great! Will definitely go back to try other things on the menu. The location is good, not far from the hot springs, and there is nice patio seating.

Better than the Pagosa location. Server was great and super friendly. Huge and I mean huge portions. Margaritas were strong and super yummy. I ordered their chicken with guac and it was great. My husband ordered the Denver chili with chimichanga and we were both full. Orders came out quickly. The only thing I didn’t like was the cabbage like stuff that came with the chips for the appetizer.

Boyfriend and I came to Glenwood Springs for a staycation. After an evening at Iron Mountain hot springs we walked over to Tequilas since we’re staying at the Ramada which is literally across the parking lot… I have never been impressed with a Mexican restaurant like I am right now… I am VERY particular about Mexican food and I can say this was definitely authentic. The chips were fresh, so fresh they were still warm! Then… Our sever comes out with our beers and asks«chilled glass with your beer» yes please! And it comes with a salted rim??? I’m in heaven. We got the combination platter for two. Carne asada and pollo asado that made me feel like I was at a family get together… Huge portions! Perfect for someone like me lol I can eat and it was so worth it. Very good flavor and the food came out fast. Great service… enough to forgive the attitude the hostess gave us! ;)

Tonight we are trying the combination platter for two, and a Kiwi margarita. Very very good meal combination platter was very delicious and filling. Definitely enough for 2 people — share. The Kiwi margarita was very good, but it is a very sweet margarita. The service was very fast and the server was very good, knowledgeable on with the meals included.

This place gets the job done when you are craving a platter-sized serving of good Mexican food to shovel into your face! The food is the usual Mexican fare including burritos, tacos, fajitas and the like. They understand the absolute necessity of beans and rice, so most menu items come with both. You can pass up the guacamole… if you’re mentally impaired! It is made from scratch and fresh. Get it! The atmosphere itself is your standard cheesy Mexican restaurant décor with sombreros and those bench seats that are carved with jungle looking themes and painted bright colors. But don’t worry, once you get two or three of the pretty cheap margaritas in you, you won’t even notice the décor. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Most of them are Hispanic which is nice, because you know you are getting the real deal! Plus, they are always very patient and let me practice my rusty Spanish with them! The only downside to this place is the small a$! parking lot! If it is busy it can be tricky finding a parking spot. This small hassle is totally worth putting up with for an amazing burrito though! Tequila’s is always a safe and reliable choice for Mexican fare when you crave it.

This place was jut a stereotypical homemade Mexican restaurant. The prices are pretty high for the food but you do get a large amount of food. Overall the service was kind of slow and with the prices being relatively high nothing really stood out to me as fantastic. I would probably just go to the Taco Bell down the street next time.
