Stopped by the hotel to look at the x-mas decorations and noticed the little bar/restaurant. Thought, «why not? «this little bar has nice ambience and comfortable seats. I ordered some food for my wife and myself, including the challah bread and calamari. The challah was pretty good, but what really stood apart was the calamari. Coconut crusted little strips of awesomeness! I’ve never had them taste so good in all my restaurant encounters. The salsa that comes along with them is amazing as well. Cheers! This is definitely a place to revisit and I would certainly recommend it to my friends.

We came here during the off season so the restaurant was slow. We actually ended up sitting in the bar side because it felt more cozy. Ashley was our server and she was super sweet and friendly. Our food was really good(especially the toffee dessert)! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We would definitely recommend this place!

Four of us went there for Thanksgiving Brunch at 2:00 pm. Megan was a great hostess. She made over my new shirt I bought for the occasion. The Hors d’oeuvres were exciting and delicious, with our drinks. Everyone loved the 20 Entrées, including us. The desserts were unique and tasty. We were served by four(4) wonderful, attentive staffers, giving us anything we wanted. We were never rushed to pay and leave, 2 hours. The experience was excellent and I thought the prices were reasonable.

What a great light dinner we ate in the bar. After spending the day in the hot springs a nice drink and some appetizers were nice. We were a little disappointed that the did not have Southern Comfort or could not heat a Kahlua and Cream. We enjoyed the Hummus for two and Cheese board. We enjoyed our appetizers and drinks, waitress was very busy but kept everyone happy.

As of June 2015 there is a new head chef and he’s made the menu awesome! Old reviews about bad food are a thing of the past. Now a days, the grub is incredible. I’ve had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Baron’s and each meal offers a unique take on classic American food items. Also, you can eat inside or outside(weather permitting), and also order food from the Coppertop Bar! The service is very professional and friendly. This restaurant is a great experience that adds to the luster of the Hotel Colorado. It’s low stress and that’s what I like. While the prices might be a bit high, you get what you pay for, which is quality food and service in a great atmosphere that is unique to Glenwood Springs.

Awful. Wonderful atmosphere, bad service, bad food. Took an hour to get a subpar, overpriced meal.

I ate here a few weeks ago following a bike ride down Glenwood Canyon. It was still warm enough that our party of 4 chose to eat on the patio-which is beautiful. When we initially arrived we had to spend 10 min wandering through the hotel to find someone who could seat and serve us. Once we finally found someone we were pleased with the service and the meal. Our drinks came out quickly. We didn’t have to flag anyone down again to ask for a refill. The food was really good and all 4 of us tried something different. We also didn’t have to wait forever to get the check. Once we finished our meal we migrated to the television on the patio to check the football scores. The waitress invited us to sit there and she would continue to bring drinks. The other reviews here are more than a year old. I don’t know if Baron’s or the hotel took steps to fix their previous service issues but overall we were very happy with the visit.
