Good food, just takes waaaaaaaaay too long!!! Don’t go here, even for takeout and expect food in ANY kind of timely manner!!!

My husband and I went here for the first time today and man was the food good! I got a chilada and my husband had a tostada, taco and a burrito and all of it was spot on! We will definitely be going back whenever we can

Everyone has different tastes especially when it comes to fast food «TEX MEX”-That being said I like Taco Casa the best – that includes, bueno, bell etc. Their products seem to be a lot fresher!!-The lettuce, meat and cheese tastes better than most places!!! – They do a great job – keep up the good work!!!

Great food for a great price! Staff is almost always friendly and the food is good! I’d recommend the super tostada no olive and a mild bean burrito with a sweet tea.

GREAT FREAKING TACOS you should know by now everytime I get excited about a place I type in all caps. Ok well the location to me is a great location because it is right off the freeway. I like the fact they actually make their own hard taco shells yes I said it THEY MAKE THEIR OWN TACO SHELLS. You can taste the real beef in these tacos not that Taco Bell meat. Their prices are a little steep but once you taste a taco from them you will then forget all about how much you spend. Of course I dont have any photos of these awesome tacos but I promise I will upload some when I go back. Which will be soon lol

If anyone was at this location on 8÷21÷2015 friday night from 7:45 to 8:15 pm and saw a red truck back in to my white car while trying to turn out of the parking lot on to Broadway PLEASE contact me!

Not really the biggest fan of Hispanic food, but this restaurant was really good. The tacos here didn’t use a fancy sauce to be a cliché secret recipe. It was just plain old fashioned tacos. They also have heavy ties with the community and their car show events. Supporting both Lakeview and South Garland, the local highschools in the area is another plus. This place was my first job years ago, and their food tasted the same back then.

Great food better than the other 3 places near them. (Bell, Bueno and Cabana) They are definitely not stingy with their meat and fresh veggies. The cheese is amazing. What I love about their tacos it just tastes homemade! My favorite is the taco lite! The best one there! Sweet tea is really good! My husband had the burrito, it had olives in it but it was still good! The only compliant I have is on the Suoer Nachos. Little pricy for amount of meat they give you. I went through the drive thru so they gave me nachos in 2 separate styrofoam containers. One had a lot of chips and cheese in a round container. The other one had little bit of meat in the top left corner and beans in the right and sour cream in the bottom big slot. For $ 6.39 I would think they would of at least put the meat in the big slot and sour cream in the small one. But the concept of separating wet and dry products was a great idea because I hate soggy nachos by the time I get home! Overall place was great. They are always courteous and polite! And they have old classic car shows on Saturday.

My family and I come here 2 to 3 times a week. The service is great and the food is even better.

Seriously my new favorite taco place. The taco lite is my entire life!!! Not stingy on meat and cheese and vegetables and killer hot sauce! Price is a bit higher than Taco Bell kind of places but it’s so incredibly worth the extra dollar or whatever

Rude drive thru attendant. Never spoke a word. Was annoyed when I asked for more sauce. If you hate your job do better, and work elsewhere. All her huffing and puffing and my order was wrong! Really? I live 25 miles away. What a bust. I love all taco casas when I get what I ordered/​paid for but for goodness sake lose the attitude. It’s fast food.

Good burritos. good tacos, decent price. A step above some of those places that have a Bell in the name.

Great crispy tacos and love that you can taste the finely shredded cheese. I have had the burrito with mild sauce, crispy tacos, frijoles, nachos, and burger. I have liked all that I have tried. They always have a lot of people working in their locations so the food comes out fresh and fast.

Not really crazy about this place. I probably won’t ever come back here. I prefer tacobell lmao

We go to this location all of the time. The service is always great and the food is really good. I usually get the chili burger with cheese and a couple of tacos. You can’t go wrong here. My only complaint would be that the interior needs a little updating due to years of wear.

I love coming to this place. Fast food American taco place that is good and not scared to fill a taco and actually let a person feel like they are getting a good value for the money spent. Keep in mind, it’s fast food, it’s not Mi Cocina, etc.
Never frozen food. In fact, they don’t even have a freezer here, all food is fresh. No chicken products though, no freezer. Dollar any size tea. Taco shells are made right here, the cheese is grated here.
They just recently got rid of Taco Tuesday (discounted prices on tacos). Not sure why, they don’t seem to be hurting for business, always hoppin. I’m disappointed in the taco Tuesday thing, just because it gave me a good excuse to eat here on Tuesdays, now that’s gone.
Four stars because I love it. Not five because of no more taco Tuesday, not willing to budge on the chicken thing and they won’t expand to the Firewheel area.
They need to add wifi.

This was a solid 2.5 for me, but since you can’t do half-​star ratings on Unilocal,I’ll be nice at give it a 3.
We’ve eaten a lot of Mexican, Tex-​Mex, and Ameri-​Mex food in our time, both in DFW and elsewhere. This just didn’t do it for either one of us. Taco Delite is the most comparable restaurant to Taco Casa that I can think of, and they beat them in both taste and price. For lunch we shared nachos and a small drink, I had a taco, and DH had a burrito. Grand total was just under $ 15. The nachos were kind of odd. In one corner was the sour cream, in another beans, in another ground beef, and in the last corner was the tomatoes. Makes it a little weird when you wanted all of those things on your chip so you can dip each individual chip four times. Also, straight up Ricoh’s cheese sauce out of the can. Taco was okay as was the burrito.
It wasn’t terrible but I would never go out of my way to come here. Food did come out extremely fast and the woman who took our order was very nice. I just think there are much better options in the area.

Taco Casa is my favorite place for Americanized Mexican fast food. Do not be put off by the unsophisticated graphics the company uses to adorn it’s signage, décor and food containers; there is serious food to be enjoyed here.
The menu is sparse and there are no combo meals. The reoccurring themes I see in the food is do something, and do it well. The ingredients are great quality and stand alone on their own– so if you taste the beans, beef or cheese on their own– you will be tasting great quality components.
Even the cups, straws and silverware are great quality and substantial.
The only area were things are lacking is the atmosphere itself with is sterile and unimaginative, but seeing how delicious the food it, it’s easy to see where the money is being funneled.
Give Taco Casa a try– I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the great taste and good value.

I noticed a few concerns with this location. Personally I’ve had better luck at this location rather than Rockwall.
My favorites are the Nachos and Chilada.
If you experience problems demand to deal with the person in charge. If they don’t handle the problem to your satisfaction ask for the Owner. He works in the store and often is on the cash register. He was always nice and wanted to know how satisfied we were at each visit. This store donates a lot of time and money to schools and charities so please let the owner know, he would fix anything he knew about.

Yes, food is love. And I was all kinds of loved up on Sunday with my Chilada with extra cheese and extra red sauce AND my chili burger with cheese. I’m telling you, in the realm of taco food this place is the end-​all-​be-​all. And I have the coupon calendar to prove it! I love you too, Taco Casa.
