Giving it 5 stars for what it is. A great little place with friendly accommodating staff and excellent food. Our server was well educated on the menu, offered suggestions, and was overall very attentive. Our food was delicious. We were in the area for a funeral, so I’m not sure how long it’s been open or what their business is like, but I wish them well!

Crappie. I showed up at 6:22pm and they said they changed their hours 2 weeks ago. They were closed after I drove an hour to get here. Won’t be going back to this place. Not worth it. Looks very dirty too.

This is a very small, simply laid out restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and the food was fresh and flavorful without being greasy. The salsa had just the right amount of kick without being too hot. And to top it all off they have their horchata mix down PERFECT. I used to get this rice milk drink all the time and this was the first time I’ve had it that it’s been this good since I’ve gotten back to Texas. FYI the enchiladas are excellent as well as the brisket. Their prices are very reasonable too, but if you like soda you will get charged by the can as they don’t have a dispenser.

This Garland gem is hidden in Duck creek, and W Oates has the best homemade Mexican food in the whole area. Welcoming and cozy you’ll regret to turn your head. From Tamales to Enchiladas this little place has it all. I love the grilled chicken salad with cucumber and avocados. You can add Spinach to your quesadillas. Also freshly made lemonade, Horchata, and Tamarind water. Very delicious, and healthy too.
Please help support small businesses, they provide us with freshness, and quality that is severely lacking in this fast food craze obese society.
