Taco Bueno

Not sure what happened to this place… I just picked up my food and literally everything I ordered was terrible. Tacos and queso were cold, and the chips I was given to eat my cold queso with were burnt.
Edit: half way through eating, I find something that slightly resembles a hair in my queso… but it could also be plastic. YUM.

Cheap food, but half the time, the girl at the counter is in the restroom, and it takes up to 10 minutes to even place a drive thru order. Go to Whataburger across the street.

The only thing I like from Taco Bueno are their Party Burritos and they make them perfect here. The tortilla is cooked to perfection and they always load them with plenty of beans and cheese and always give plenty of salsa.

I like eating here. The food is always good, but the other day I went in and had one of the Big Beefy Taco’s (or whatever the name is; it’s the $ 2.39 dollar taco — the biggest one they sell) and it was really, really good. Probably the best taco I have ever eaten. The meat was juicy, but not too juicy. I really liked it.

What happened to this place???
I used to come here every day in high school (15 years ago) but the place has gone to total crap!
I came here on a weeknight when it was super dead and I wasn’t even sure they were open til I went up to the drive thru and saw someone eating in side through the window.
I was ordering for a group so I ordered 10 tacos and 10 burritos. When I placed my order the girl on the other end acted very annoyed that I had placed such a large order. I pulled up, paid and was told to go park out front and they would bring the order to me.
About 7 minutes later a girl comes walking out and hands me a big bag and said «We gave you party burritos and through in a couple extra.» Really??? You couldn’t make regular burritos and you just took the decision upon yourself to just change my order to party burritos? Come on, two extra isn’t gonna cut it and I wasn’t even offered a discount or refund of the price difference.
Also, the girl that took my order came walking outside with her headset on and was standing at the window of a beat up truck talking to some guy that looked like her boyfriend. It was just so unprofessional and it seems a bunch of lazy high school kids work here now. I will not visit this location again, there are much better locations in the Dallas/​Garland area.

If you go there be sure to check your order. They NEVER get my order right and always short my order but they still stick you for the bill. Until you get home you won’t realize you have been screwed. This has happened too many times and will NEVER go back !
