Good sandwiches. They really are super, super fast. Love their thinny chips. Their sandwiches on the fresh wheat bread are great. Good place to go when you need to get in and out quickly.

I am a huge Jimmy Johns fan and I must say this was the worse location I have ever been to. There was no clear sign for additional parking and when I asked the wanna be M&M rapper working the assembly line he gave me a run around answer and was disturbed that I asked. Then the same guy messes up the whole ticket ordering system and I wait for over ten minutes until the women behind me were given their food, and the same guy says to me «yo! Yo food has been ready for a long time«to which an apology would have been appreciated. Turned out the ladies behind me got their order mixed up as well. It was not even busy ! Sorry jimmy John Galveston I will not be returning. Please get a strong visible manager to fix this

Maybe if they slowed down and double checked their orders they wouldn’t constantly screw up my order. I’ve ordered sandwiches on two different occasion and both times my order was wrong. On the second try I had the person red my order back and it was fine. About the time my order should have been delivered, I got a call saying they had left the rest of my order and had to go back and get it. It took over an hour to get my food. The food was fine, but they bed better organization when it comes to delivery. I have also gone to the actual Jimmy Johns restaurant and none of the employees were friendly or even greeted me with a simple hello. They seemed upset that I asked a question. I think the manager needs to work with them.

Everyone knows what their sandwiches taste like — they are good and consistent. Just wanted to leave a review for their staff — went this past Friday and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly every staff member was. Even had the manager check in on us, which has never happened at any Jimmy John’s in Houston. Keep it up.

So normally I love jimmy johns, I usually go with my dad to jimmy johns on a lunch date every week, the one off of nasa road 1 and they are awesome. Friendly people with great customer service and I always get my sandwich freaky fast. My boyfriend and I come to this jimmy johns on the seawall for lunch today and he had gone in first while I was putting shoes on in the car so he could go to the bathroom before we ate. He walks inside to go to the bathroom and proceeds to get yelled at by some guy who we think is probably the manager about having to be a customer to use the restrooms. We both understand that this issue probably happens a lot but he had cash in hand and it shouldn’t have been assumed that he wasn’t a customer until after leaving the restroom and heading towards the door and he definitely shouldn’t have been yelled at. We don’t want to eat at this location ever again and we felt so uncomfortable that we sat outside. Great sandwiches, terrible customer service.

I found the staff to be very pleasant. We arrived with 6 minutes left before closing and tried to leave cause it was so close to closing. They talked us into placing our order. They were very quick and pleasant while we waited for our order.

Went here this morning and ordered two subs. When the employee handed me my order, I asked for a bag. He walked away and told me the bags and napkins were«right there», indicating they were behind the counter where he was and I would have to actually reach over to get them. Very poor customer service.

I’ve gone to/ordered from other Jimmy John’s in the past, in both Austin and Denver, and there’s just something not right with the service at this one… While in most cases, my food has arrived relatively fast, the one time I was staying at a hotel literally a BLOCK away, my food took over 35 minutes to arrive. When we called to speak with a manager, we were told that the driver had a lot of deliveries to make. Not an acceptable answer in my book. I also fail to understand why you would deliver to the closest location last — and furthermore, why you would give your driver so many deliveries that it would take them over a half an hour to complete them all. We told the manager that we no longer wanted the food and were essentially told just turn the delivery driver away when(s)he arrived. Also, I know it may seem miniscule, but their online ordering provides you the options to select if you would like your sandwich cut in half and whether you would like condiment packets — I find that on a regular basis, this location outright ignores these requests. I don’t know about you, but and sandwich without mustard just isn’t right to me. And, as their sandwiches are pretty big, I feel like cutting them in half should be a requirement, not something that I have to request. And why offer the option for the requests if you’re consistently going to ignore them? For sandwiches that are just okay, the high price and lack of good customer service usually mean I’d rather just get up and drive myself to Subway…

I go to Jimmy Johns very frequently back home and this store is run just as well as any other I’ve been to. We were promptly greeted when we entered the store even though it was lunch time on Labor Day weekend. A large crew was working fast and furiously to build sandwiches and make the line go down. As soon as they had a lull in the action they shifted to cleanup mode and worked just as hard to square away the store. I really do not understand all the negative reviews for this store. Sandwiches taste great, are affordable, received quickly, and they have funny signs to read on the wall. What else do you need to be happy with a $ 5 sandwich?

Good food, fast service. I like the JJ Gargantuan. Service here seems to be improving, although the other day staff had plugged their iPod into the radio and were playing a song that crudely referred to female body parts, complete with 4-letter words. :-/. Glad I was the only person there eating at the moment.

I generally like Jimmy Johns, but the manager here doesn’t know what he is doing and was extremely rude to my family. We ordered 4 sandwiches, 4 drinks and 4 chips. After sitting down, our 20 month old baby would not eat her plain meat and cheese sandwich so we asked for 2 tomato slices. Josh, the manager told us no. He said we should have ordered with our sandwich and that ‘We don’t just give stuff away for free”. We rebutted saying that it is free if we add to sandwich, why couldn’t we have 2 tomato slices for our baby? He told us he has rules to follow and suggested we pull tomatoes off of our sandwiches and give to the baby. He could have politely asked for 29 cents or what not, but he just told us no, after spending $ 30 on a lunch we were still trying to enjoy, I found it offensive and rude. Clearly he has no understanding or appreciation for customer service. On another note, I also find it frustrating that Jimmy Johns as a company refuses to give salt and pepper. Overall, it seems like there’s a lot of pressure from corporate to cut costs at every expense. I’m surprised they allow free soda refills! Will not be back.

I think Jimmy John’s is better than Subway and Quiznos. It is probably the best«fast food» place to get a sandwich. The kids working are usually pretty friendly, quick, and actually acknowledge your existence when you walk in the door. The delivery is really fast too. I usually get the tuna sandwich and it’s been pretty fresh up until our last visit. There was WAY too much mayo in it. Everything else tasted fresh incuding the bread

As advertised, they are freaky fast. It’s a chain sub shop so if you know Jimmy John’s you know what to expect. It’s quick, it’s tasty, and it’s cheap. I usually stop there for lunch when I’m headed back into town from the west end of Galveston.

OMG. Best place ever. The hoagies here are amazing. I’m from Philly originally and this is the closest thing to a real Wawa hoagie I think I’ll ever get to in Texas. Cheap and super fast AND they even deliver. I love them.
