Clean restrooms, very attentive staff, and great food. Had a pickle shortage and they made it up with bringing me extra pickles. After observing the workers, it seems that they are genuine and work hard. I ordered the harvest chicken salad sandwich and it was great.

I love McAlisters Deli! There are very few convenient, fast, and healthy places to eat here. McAlister offers fresh choices for people wanting to eat clean. I love the grilled chicken classic on wheat. It’s always fresh and served with a smile. The manager and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant and restrooms are always clean. The line moves quickly and there is ample space to sit and eat comfortably. I love sitting outside on the patio when the weather is nice.

This is the second time I have eaten here since moving to Galveston. The food is good but the music they play is so obnoxious and loud, I doubt if I will return. I have eaten at other McAlisters and their background music was never this loud. Another lady was leaving at the same time I did and also made a remark about it.

This place is freakin ridiculous. Mediocre sandwiches. Rude employees that are too busy farting around on their phone’s to pay attention to their customers.
Got the club sandwich with a side of chicken and dumpling soup. Disgusting. Soup was lukewarm, sandwich had wilted lettuce with zero flavor.
The sweet tea is the only thing worth getting.

Great sandwiches and soup. I always get the pick two with a chicken club and chicken and dumpling soup which is great. The sweet peach tea is pretty good, My mom loves the McAlister’s Club and tortilla soup, she gets it every time. We tend to be creatures of habit.
It is usually always busy so I usually have to wait in line with at least three people in front of me but the food usually comes pretty fast.

Service was slow, people were rude, and the manager acted like we were annoying them. Server forget to bring back a refill for a drink and to go boxes. Never going back. I would rather go to subway.

Love this place ! The Ruben is delicious !! If anyone has food allergies make sure you actually have them check for you. I asked if there was celery in the potato salad and she said there wasn’t. But there was. I’ve been back after that but am just more careful ! You’ll be full and satisfied after a meal from here.

Disappointed. The reviews and menus were promising but the food was just ok and the service was horrible. It took a long time to get the food. The place was not that busy and a lot of people standing around in back. When the food did come the orders were not right and some were cold.

Boo It’s Friday night. The sign on the door clearly shows they are open till 10. I went in at 9:10 & they told me they closed at 9. What’s with that? I noticed another couple when I drove up pointing at the door sign upset. I’ve been here before this late.
Obviously they closed way early, but it’s a chain restaurant not a mom & pop where you can close or open when you want. There was no manager around, it looked like employees just decided to close for their own benefit.

I can’t smell as well as everyone, but when I walked in, I caught a good whiff of the place. It was amazing there, the food was made well enough for me to, positively recommend it to others. The staff were nice, gave me a refill on my tea when they were waiting for other customers to arrive. I want to invite my company there, for a pleasant experience. This is a restaurant you’d want to recommend to your friends/​family.

If you’re wanting a sandwich please pass up Subway and head over to McAlisters! Their options are plentiful and their grilled sandwiches are amazing!
My fav is the smoky peperjack turkey. I’ve tried two of their soups as well and the broccoli and cheddar is delish.
They also have a pick two-​lite version for all us health conscious eaters.
The staff is super friendly and calls you by name when delivering your food to you and as you’re leaving the place.
Try the strawberry lemonade and thank me later.

Hubby had the French dip w/​a side of fruit (for the baby), I had a grilled chicken salad and we got the baby a bowl of broccoli cheese soup.
Everything came out pretty timely, it tasted good and aside from the sandwich being a bit on the small size for my Hungry husband, the portions were generous.
The staff were lovely too, they brought hubs a coffee refill as well as to go tubs for our leftover soup and fruit.
Not a bad wee spot to grab lunch in Galveston!

I had the muffuletta sandwich n chicken dumpling soup. My soup was perfect. The sandwiches was great. I had a quarter of a sandwich but it was a very large portion. I also had peach tea. It was delicious. Pepper jack with turkey was also great. I had a chocolate chip cookie from here also. It was soft n yummy. Try out this place for lunch if ur in galveston. Fabulous service. The prices were $ 23 for two sandwiches n 2 teas.
