One of the better places to go if you are in the Rencen and need a quick lunch. But I have definitely had better gyros.

Gyroland’s the kind of place you go when you’re too tired to think about where to buy lunch. They have a wide menu, but more than half of the people who go get the Chicken Greek salad. That doesn’t mean that it’s particularly good. But it’s not particularly bad either. It’s very fast and relatively cheap($ 7.25 with tax). And the people who work there are quite nice and helpful. They’ll even give you extra dressing or beets if you ask. But if you want pepperoncini or romaine with your salad, you’re better off checking out Zoup or Andiamo Presto(both inside the Ren Cen) instead. I would have given it 2.5 stars, but that wasn’t an option. Since I do go there once or twice a month, I figured it deserved at least three.

Probably really 2.5 stars but A-OK seems a little higher than I want to go. Stopped by the takeout line for a quick lunch. Pros: soft pita, decent gyro meat, actually held the onions when asked Cons: I make better tzatziki, wasn’t as quick as I’d hoped. Overall, a decent place for a quick bite if your at RenCen for lunch. It’s no Bucharest Grill, but it gets the job done.
