Bad service! I went to Pei Wei yesterday, And ordered my average meal of a lo mein, and waited for it to be delivered to my table. After about 10 minutes, the waitress brought over the two other people sitting with me their meal while mine was sitting up there with the other meals, she went over to the register and while waiting, was on her phone while my meal was getting cold. Ten minutes later while everyone at my table was just finishing their meals, another waitress who noticed that my meal had been sitting there for 15 minutes, stopped doing her work to come and give me my meal. I look over and the waitress is just sitting there on her phone not even noticing that there that new people are at he counter waiting. So sat there and ate my cold meal while the waitress just sat their on her phone.

Pei Wei was a pleasant surprise — Quick service style food. Two people can eat here and get out of there with less than a $ 20 bill and you can choose to get smaller portions. Its good to see some options!

This is not Chinese food. Don’t call the restaurant Pei Wei either if it’s «Asian inspired». This place is The food is mediocre and I don’t think I’d ever eat here again tbh. Just my opinion tho.

Let’s face it, Pei Wei is not THE go-to asian fusion restaurant. It isn’t your whole-in-the-wall authentic Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai/Japanese eatery. But I sure do love it. It is simple, tasty, comes out to you quickly, not too expensive, and tasty substitute for your typical sandwich/salad lunch day. This location is just like all the others, get in there around 11:40ish and you can have your food in no time and it won’t be obliteratingly loud. Oh… and I always get the Kung Pao Chicken(extra peanuts and double chicken).

Food not service at this location. While the food was fairly good, just be prepared for service that is not overly accommodating to say the least. Either they are understaffed and overly stressed or just don’t care how they treat their customers as the pleasant food runner recognized the error of food not coming out appropriately and said a manager would stop by but none appeared. Good news is the small portions were quite generous and filling by themselves.

I come to this location a lot. Mario is the cashier during lunches and he is very very friendly. My order is pretty complicated and they always get it right. The customer service is really fantastic. They are always busy and still manage to get the food out quickly.

I usually don’t hate pei Wei and this was the first location I’ve been to. Well, I found a caterpillar in my bowl when i was about to finish my meal. I called a manager immediately and he apologized. I received $ 20 worth of coupon the dinner was free(including my husband meal), and he said we could come back anytime we want to for free meal. He didn’t seem like a rude person but he kept blaming their vendor. Well, it’s more like you guys didn’t wash vegetables.(I had shrimp and broccoli) The manager also said that he would have his vendor contact me but I haven’t heard anything yet. It has been more than a week now.

I had never tried this place before so I got several small orders of different things and all was good except the sushi… not good! I like that you can order brown rice with your entrees instead of white rice. The girl in the to-go area was not friendly at all but the food was good and it was great prices.

Excellent customer service! I ordered a Vegetable Spring Roll on the menu, which a server guy with glasses brought to my table. Confused, I thought it was supposed to be a roll wrapped with rice paper but he kindly explained that it was actually the Vietnamese Chicken Salad Roll. He went out of his way to swap my roll out, and it definitely made my day! Thank you for not asking questions or making a fuss about it, but instead putting your customer first. I’m definitely pleased.

I don’t know why everyone is hating on Pei Wei, but this place is my favorite Americanized Asian fast food restaurant! Not everything here is authentic but it’s okay, because it still tastes good. My favorite dishes to get are the Thai Basil Wonton soup, the Mongolian with chicken and noodles, the Pad Thai, and the Dan Dan noodles. They have an original size and a small size now, and with the original size I can be full and still have some left to take home. The only thing I hate about Pei Wei is that although their to-go boxes are so cute(traditional Chinese takeout boxes), they are impossible to close. I’ve ripped holes in countless to-go boxes, and they just make me mad.

The food is tasty, but they make up for it with an indifferent attitude and slow service. I thought it might be just one or two people but their demeanor is pervasive throughout the entire staff. One only needs to look at Unilocal reviews in Dallas to see that this attitude runs through the entire chain. Management is obviously not very good at ‘Management’. A great opportunity here for a competitor…

Ate there last weekend and the food was great! Had Crunchy Teriaki Rolls, Edamame and Kung Pao Chicken. The rice was perfect as was the food. Try it for yourself and see!

Always great service, they seem to move quickly during the lunch hour. I never had an issue with anything ordered there. When I go to get my to go order it is always ready and warm. Food is good for a quick non fancy bite to eat. Love their new crunchy rolls, hoping they keep them on the menu.

You shouldn’t expect much from a place that doesn’t even require you to sign for your credit card purchase and doesn’t request tips. I learned my lesson. I was really starting to like Pei Wei. In about 15 minutes I could get cheap, fast, Asian inspired food that was pretty tasty. On my first visit to this location, everything was accurate and dandy for the most part. I ordered the Thai chicken lettuce wraps, sweet and sour shrimp, and a pork egg roll for a quick lazy day dinner. The lettuce wraps were delicious. They were so full of flavor, but really messy to eat. The sweet and sour shrimp was good, but nothing better than what you can get from anywhere else. The egg roll was extremely greasy for some reason. It was dripping with oil, pretty nasty, but I’m not going to get all mad about that. Today I placed an online order for pot stickers, Thai chicken lettuce wraps, and Pad Thai with shrimp and no tofu or peanuts. I may be ruining Pad Thai by requesting no peanuts or tofu, but I’ve just discovered this dish and I don’t like those items too much and I’m still learning. Anywho, I picked up my order, took it home and I don’t know where they’re getting their shrimp from, but it looked a whole lot like chicken to me. And those slimy strips that looked like smoked turkey must have been tofu… which I asked to be removed. Good thing I ordered those lettuce wraps. Of course this restaurant closes at 9 p.m.(how convenient), so I couldn’t take it back. So why three stars? Well, overall the food here is decent and my first good experience balances out them making a mistake on my second experience. Will I go back… mmmmaybe…probably until I find something better.

They recently changed their menu and prices went up. I still enjoy their lo mein and kung pao chicken, but now I have to order the«small» size to pay the same price when I ordered a regular size in the past. Also, their vietnamese chicken salad rolls(3 pc) is almost 8 bucks now for something that’s just store bought. No thanks.

I really like Pei Wei. I have been on the fence before but am coming around. They have a coupe good salads and then a couple good spicy dishes. I do also like their Dan Dan Noodle bowl. I think sometimes, I think Pei Wei is not authentic enough and too chain-y, but who cares. Their food tastes good and is fresh and flavorful. It is always clean and nice. There are times when you want fun hole in the walls and there are times for effectively the Chili’s of asian food. I also like that they have fortune cookies. I may be dorky but I like fortune cookies even if fortunes these days seem to be more random and less fortunes than they used to be, but that is a whole other story.

Super busy location, but they do have ample parking. They are prompt and very efficiently staffed. The only meal I am not a fan of at Pei Wei is the Lo Mein. It’s far too oily for me, but I think everything is pretty full of flavor. Super Clean as well!!!
