I ate here expecting what I’ve received at others and… eh, it was good just not great. I had orange peel shrimp and it was good as were the pot stickers. My veggies were undercooked and crunchy while the rice was gummy. Maybe it was just an off night. I’ll still patron their restaurants as nothing can be perfect t every time. I’m sure they would have fixed it if I had asked them to… I chose to overlook it. Service was still good and everyone was friendly. Restaurant appeared to be clean.

Someone found a larvae in their broccoli? That beats the egg shell found in my wife’s food. My Mongolian beef was disgusting… thin slices of(beef?) overlooked to the consistency of leather, over sauced, over salted. Gross. This place needs new management.

Food is usually good, but service can be slow, long wait times for takeout even when ordered ahead. Have also had some mistakes in orders found when I got home.

I had order shrimp low mien take out. I was very pleased with the service and my food tastes great. The gentleman who took my order was very helpful from beginning to end. Great customer service from him. I’m definitely going back. Thanks guy!

I love Pei Wei, but just left this location because I found a larva in my broccoli! I was absolutely disgusted! No excuses. That is unacceptable! GROSS!

I see why the reviews have gone downhill. Seems mostly due to staff. Complained about the music being turned up too loud. The lady I told did turn it down but the punk behind the counter keeps turning it up. Even after she went back and turned it down. Even looked straight at me while he turned it up. Laughing and giggling the whole time.

Love Pei Wei. It’s the best of the asian«fast food». Nothing remarkable about this one vs. any other though.

HOLYWONTON! Is anybody at Pei Wei at home??? This used to be one of my favorite places, but something is clearly wrong at this Preston Center location. The quality of food has gone down and they can’t seem to get our order right. I always like the Asian chicken salad. The dressing is the only good thing about this salad anymore! The veggies are not high quality and the chicken is dry and tasteless. Since they can’t get it right on the phone, we decided to order online. Nope. That didn’t work either. We called the manager Sergio who informed us that we entered the information wrong online. Really? It’s pretty straight forward, but he still maintained we did it wrong. If you want Pei Wei, try a different location. 2 Stars for the sesame ginger dressing.

I love Pei Wei, but for some reason this location is just bad. I always order the same thing, and while other locations make it consistently delicious, this location consistently sucks.

…if there is a hell, Pei Wei serves it. There are so many better authentic places to eat, that won’t charge you an arm and a leg, and less of a chance of food poisoning.

Pei-Wei is an adequate place for a break in the norm when it comes to lunch. It’s a step above ordering take out and a step below the fancy authentic Asian restaurants you find in big cities. The quality and price of the food lies somewhere in between. Pei-Wei offers a wide variety of dishes from vegan to meat-tastic, healthy to greasy, sweet to spicy, and everything in between. You can get a huge meal and feel full, or something light and continue with your day. I recommend going there for lunch as their lighter dishes tend to taste much better than their heavier ones. Overall, you can’t say anything bad about Pei-Wei(other than their prices being a tad too high). But on the other side, it has no special qualities aside from their very diverse menu. Still, you can do a lot worse.

I don’t normally review chain restaurants, just here and there. This is one of the exceptions. I enjoy coming to this location mainly because the of the outdoor seating. The area is large enough to accommodate at least ten tables, so you can usually get a table without much of a wait, if any. The best is it’s cool and shady. Otherwise, the food is average, you get little Asian flavor & flair. They have a good variety of Asian dishes and styles on the menu. Pretty much everything is under $ 10, which is a great for lunch. On top of that, the service is quick and on point. You order at the counter and it’s self-serve, but they have servers to bring out your order and get an occasional refill, this mostly depends on the server, some offer to refill you glass and some don’t. Overall, It’s not a bad spot for lunch, but the winner for me is outdoor seating.

I should always stick with the lettuce wraps… I must remember this. Or maybe Just another location bc I usually like Pei Wei. First time at this location, ordered the chicken lo mein. It was awful… so greasy, as in puddle in the bottom of the plastic tray, noodles were way overcooked(whatever happened to al dente?) and all soggily stuck together and the chicken was breaded??? I was very confused about that. And felt sick all day after eating here. I work so close, but sadly will not return.

Tried this Pei Wei location for the first time last night for a takeout meal. Wouldn’t recommend it. Our hot dishes were nearly cold by the time we got home(5 minute trip) and refused to process our coupon correctly. The coupon was honestly the only reason Pei Wei was on our radar, and after our meal last night, I remember why.

I love going to Pei Wei but it’s going to be impossible to get my coworkers to go here now because they took off the Lemongrass chicken Noodle Salad from the menu. Girls love salads. Girls love the Lemongrass chicken noodle salad. So long Pei Wei I hate to see you go…

We do not have Pei Wei in my hometown so I love to dine here when I see one. Best way to sum it up – quick, counter order PF Changs. Food is great – had a couple appetizers, the pork dumplings were good but the crab wontons were AWESOME. Packed with real crab meat, definitely recommend them. Had the orange peel beef, it was pretty good but I’ll try something else next time.

This was undoubtedly one of the worst dinners I have ever had in my life. I ordered an egg roll and it was bland with some weird honey-mustard sauce. Completely flavorless. I also got four pot stickers and they were THEWORST I have had in my life. I am not one to waste food but these deep fried disasters were inedible and I left two. I also got the lettuce wraps and it was ok although too salty. My wife ordered the spicy Korean with beef and it also was a disaster. The sauce was way too salty and overall just disgusting. The rice was under-salted and had no taste. If not for the complimentary fortune cookies and the beer that I ordered we would have left hungry. We had been to Pei Wei before but after this experience there is no way that we will ever return.

We always stop in for tofu stirfry, there is a fancy name, I just ask for tofu stirfry. I think Puck did a good job creating this restaurant concept but I don’t quite understand that you have to order at the counter, then they bring it to you along with you having to self serve when the prices are full serve. This location has a patio for people watching if it isn’t too hot.

Ok folks… i’m so excited for this review, I might just pee my pants. First of all… it’s Pei Wei. I’ve already reviewed one location, but here is another one. This one is in Preston Center in the midst of the ever busy market of bargain shopping. Heart. It’s about 5pm and BF and I have just left our last excursion, we are hungry. We see Pei Wei. I start craving the ramen noodles. We make our way. Upon entering we are perusing the menu(well he is, like I said… ramen noodles) and as im leaning over the side I see…(please see Pic 2). I look at BF… he looks at me. I said… are you seeing this? He goes… um and starts laughing uncontrollably. I want to tell a manager, but they have to know this is going on right? I look up and I see 3 employees peeking from behind the revolving door watching me. Yes, obviously they know. He looks like an employee of the restaurant. Hmph, not sure what to do. We walk up to the counter. «I’ll have the ramen noodles», «Sorry that was seasonal, we’re not serving that anymore» FRICK! So now I have to settle for Pad Thai… which is not my fav here, but whatever, it will do. I’m still debating on telling them about Sleepy McSleeperson over in the booth. BF and I get our food. We’re eating. Too much lime. Baby at the nexy table over is crumbling fortune cookies on the floor in mass heaps, parents are laughing. Children in booth behind me are jumping up and down. However, the guy walking around delivering food, so graciously offers to refill my drink. Thanks bud… maybe Sleeping Beauty in the corner could use a cold drink? Get a to-go box, since I clearly have lost my appetite and as we’re leaving… snap this picture. Total time in Pei Wei…40 minutes… that’s one hell of a power nap. INTHEMIDDLEOFTHERESTAURANT!
