I love this nail spa! It’s very clean and the music isn’t too loud like a lot of places. And Ken is so amazing at the powder dip polish and shaping your nails exactly how you like them! This is the only place I’ll go to for my manis and pedis!

My go-to nail salon in Dallas. Ask for Rose! Staff is friendly and thorough. The space is bright, clean, and fresh. Technicians are thoughtful, equipment is sanitized between services, and the products they use are spa-quality. Rose has been my nail technician for almost nine years and no one does a better job on my cuticles, nails, and skin. HIGHLYRECOMMEND.

Wow — amazing service here. They were not stingy with the massages during the mani and pedi. They even give you a Shoulder massage while you get your paraffin treatment. So relaxing… And my nails look great. Very happy customer. I will be back soon! :)

Tina does amazing nails! I have been using the dips and some new colors came in today. Also, everyone else here is really nice and I always get treated like a queen. :) I came in today and I even got a 15% discount using Unilocal. But excluded powder. I have been coming here for a long time and will continue to. They have drinks like water, sodas and wine that are complimentary.

The place is ok but I wasn’t too crazy about my fill. The technician was really nice but she didn’t file the acrylic properly on top and they appeared a bit lumpy. She also used a tip that was larger than my nail so after she was finished the nails looked super large and flat. She also didn’t buff the edges of the nails so they were super sharp. Not my best fill. I will not be returning.

This review is for the new location at Preston & Forest: Polished is no more, despite the sign on the building. It’s now owned by Deluxe Nail Salon. A notification should have been sent out to regular customers. Despite booking my appointment 48 hours in advance using the Polished website, the new owners would not honor the price I was given online/membership pricing one last time. I’ve been a regular at Polished since the day it opened in September 2011. When I walk in, everyone knows me. That alone should of indicate to the new owners that I am there a lot and that I take care of the staff. They should have honored the Polished pricing one last time and won over a new customer. As a side note, my nails look great! Loan did a great job as usual.

If you have integrity, morals, a sense of fairness, and respect people who have to perform a difficult task for little money, then please avoid this place out of principle. It was my first experience at a nail salon and I decided to get a manicure. I had to wait for about 10 minutes, which provided me the time to observe the place. It is a clean place, but the countenance/expression on the employee’s faces seemed as though they were crowded chickens waiting for their turn in the slaughterhouse. Some of the employees looked so sad. I could see that some employees who were waiting in line were actually being passed over by other employees for customers who were getting more expensive services. That did not seem fair to me. The guy I had was named Louis or Luis. He was a bit rough with my hands and I let him know, but he gave me a vicious look, so I just let him finish the job. He then turned to a girl, I think was named Hanna, and mentioned something and they both laughed, which made it seem like they were laughing at me. I started sweating a little bit because I was getting annoyed. The owner did not seem to care, when I told her as I left the place. An evil look emanated from her face. It seemed like they were talking behind my back in Vietnamese and I know some Vietnamese. Just imagine how she treats her employees. I will never come back here. I sure wish I did not get that guy from their queue and I was provided the manicure from one of the other sad technicians. I sure would have tipped the other girls well, compared to that a-hole. Please visit a salon where the employees seem happier, and also put the customer’s interest first.

I usually go to Deluxe Nail Salon up in Addison and have been satisfied with the level of service and skill there but the drive was often inconvenient living in Dallas. Imagine my delight when I discovered a Deluxe Nail Salon in Preston Hollow closer to where I live. Same name, same brand logo… even same menu of offerings I was use to up North. I chose my regular — A Deluxe Spa Pedicure Shellac. Also threw in a brow wax. The young man that did my feet seemed inexperienced but earnest. He worked diligently and was focused on his work. The polish was applied amateurishly and more seldom than not, he would use his fingers to scrape off the paint that bled over my nails. It took longer than usual but he seemed intent and in the end, the work was adequate if not great. The technicians were courteous and I was offered a beverage. Overall the salon was clean and relaxing. BUT… When I checked out — the bill was $ 75!!! $ 40 for the Pedicure — same as Addison $ 7 for the wax $ 30 for the shellac get upgrade!!! WTF Surely this couldn’t be right? Who charges $ 30 to upgrade from regular polish to gel? My usual fee in Addison(and everywhere else I’ve been) is only $ 10(per mani/pedi). I spoke with the manager who confirmed that it was correct? I told him that was ridiculous and that I wouldn’t be back. Mea Culpa for not asking first but I was blown away. A $ 10 upgrade is expected…$ 15 is unusual… and I would have considered $ 20 a rip off. $ 30 additional dollars to switch to Gel is preposterous!!! Had I known I’d be spending that much, I would have opted for an upscale Salon. STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE and I’ve learned the hard way that you ask for the pricing for all services UPFRONT.

After spending a lot of time in Dallas trying to find a good nail salon, I have FINALLY found one! I would suggest getting Kevin or David to do your nails. The salon is very clean and relaxing. On top of which, they ALWAYS have Food Network on. They are also very reasonably priced. Whenever I get my nails done, I always go here. They also do the shellac if that’s what you like. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure that you tell them you want the«classic» mani/pedi if you want the basic one. If not, they’ll most likely try and do a more expensive mani/pedi.

I hadn’t had a pedicure done in a long while and decided to try this place out on Valentine’s Day with my best friend as a treat to ourselves. I guess the only pro about this place is, it’s really nicely decorated. Everything else about the pedicure itself though was kinda disappointing. I want someone who will pay attention to the soles of my feet, especially the heels! In the end, my feet felt pretty but I had to use my ped-egg once I got home. The pinkberry next door though made me forget about my sad feet really quickly… lol.

I’m not even one to write a bad review, but I feel like I should say something about this place. Very poor service for $ 60 mani/pedi. Terrible mani; had to ask the technician for more polish, since it didn’t even look like she had done anything. She acted like it was the biggest inconvenience. And now, just one day later, the polish is chipping off. I also had to ask someone for a pair of disposable flip-flops, then had to get them myself. I agree with the previous review, the décor was nice and it seemed clean… but I definitely won’t be back.

Jeez. This place was terrible. So I’m picky about my pedicures, but if I’m paying $ 60 for one, I want it done right. I asked the technician if she would please pay attention to the bottoms of my feet. Twice. She never touched them. The polish was(no shit) ALLOVER my toes, my 3-month old nephews could have done a better job. When I pointed out a few spots, she proceeded to pile on more polish. It was ridiculous. I guess the décor was nice, but I wouldn’t go back. No value for the price.
