Great place to get a haircut. Adanelly is fantastic at cutting curly men’s hair. The owner is a great guy, who has been extremely patient with my mother and her«unmanageable» hair. The location has easy parking on the south side of the building.

I just had the worst experience got some«highlights» that aren’t what I ask for and a really bad uneven haircut. I do not recommend this place.

I just moved to town and went here based on Unilocal. What a disappointment. Liz was the one that cut my hair. While I’m sure she knows how to cut hair, the problem is she doesn’t listen at all. I asked for a slight trim. Before I knew it she cut my sides down to almost nothing and then left the top really long so I had a nice 80s poof.(Which matches the 80s décor inside) I had her cut the top some more to even it out, but the damage had already been done. It’ll take a few months to get my hair back to where it was before she butchered it. I’ll spend $ 10 more and go somewhere else next time.

I’ve been a customer of the Liz Bolivar since she was at Neimans’ and she has always steered me right as the hair goes! She’s internationally trained so I know she knows what she’s doing and NOT fresh out of beauty school!!! lol

I love going to see Timothy Nolan at Bolivar Salon! He definitely knows how to make a girl feel glamorous! His approach to hair color is unique as he goes for the«natural look» in his use of highlights, color, and color glazing. He is also the master of the blow-out! I don’t know if there’s magic in his round brush or what, but he can take my long, thick, naturally curly hair, and blow it out to soft, golden, silky smoothness that will last through a day in the Texas humidity and even look as gorgeous the next day! I can’t recommend him enough! You can even call/text him directly for appointments — 214−435−0579. Just leave him your number and the best time to contact. The salon itself is nice but not pretentious, and everyone says hi when you come in! They really go out of their way to make you feel at home.

I’ve been going to Al’s since I was a kid and he worked at Neiman’s. They’re reasonably priced and have a great location. They have a manicure/pedicure station and masseuse’s available with appointment. I am really particular about my hair and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. My dad goes there and he has a way of coloring your hair so that it looks natural. No «Just for men» here. A nice natural blended look which is befitting of a man. He’s busy, but if you’re a regular he’ll fit you in when you need a trim. The location has a neutral but fashionable look so you won’t be embarrassed, if you’re a guy, to go in and have a haircut.
