What can I say, this place is outstanding. My favorite is the prime rib which is always juicy, tender and cooked to perfection. I’ve gone a few times and always sit by the bar. Food is great, staff is awesome recommend it

Service was very good and the food was solid (the ribs were fall off the bone tender and delicious) but I’m writing this review to note how well the staff cleaned the tables after guests left. We saw the server wipe down the table, booth benches, menus and even the light fixture above the table. It just struck me as a very professional and well run operation.

where to begin ahh well lets see starting with our hostess that sat us at a dirty table, after we waited for 20 minutes. she walked us the very back of the restaurant right next to the restrooms. after seating us we all see that the table is dirty, but instead of saying something or offering to clean it up she just walks off after clearly seeing water rings& crubs from the prior table. which led to me asking a passing buss boy to wipe the table down for us. After i have to explain to him that the table is dirty, regardless of the visible mess clearly in plain veiw. after explaining that, he then tries to hand me his dirty towel to clean it up myself! I just look at hiim in disbelief, and he eventually takes the hint and wipes it down. He then has the nerve to stand there after he was done and ask me if that was all, as if i was asking for too much. Next up is our waitress who stood behind that buss boy and watched the whole thing. The food was dull took home in a box, and had to wait over 15min for our check sitting there looking for our waitress who seemed to have disappeared leaving us sitting with a table full of dirty dishes. will not be returning.

Valentines and they are getting busy. They have the kitchen on turbo speed and they are still banging out great steaks. Wife and I both ordered Dallas filets and they couldn’t have been better. And they even turned the music down to tolerable levels. Really nice visit.

Normally it’s pretty good here, but not tonight. The chicken was undercooked, and so were the carmelized onions. The steaks were overcooked, and when I mentioned it to our server, her response was ‘yaa, sometimes that happens when they are cooked medium well’. Wrong… they could still be juicy if cooked correctly. Too bad as we were celebrating a birthday.

I had a great dinner. The place was packed for being cold rainy and during the work week but people didn’t care they came here to get their fix. I came for their special… $ 9.99 for an 8oz sirllon and 2 sides. The plates were terrific.

Had a really good time! Came here with my boyfriend as part of our date night and our waitress Bev was very friendly and nice. She constantly took the time to check in on us and made sure everything was going good… and it was! I’m vegetarian which can make it difficult when dining out but they had a vegetable plate that came with a salad and my choice of 4 sides. The food was really good as well as the drinks! My only issue would probably be the hostesses as they never acknowledged us when we entered the restaurant or left. But overall, it was a great experience!

Stopped in tonight for a quick bite alone and sat at the bar. The bartender, Brooke, is one of the best bartenders I have come across in my life. I only had beer/​wine, so no mixology to comment on… but her personal attention and hospitality was 5-​star. She wrote down and remembered everyone’s name, stayed on top of food and beverage needs, and was all around awesome. They are lucky to have her!
My steak was surprisingly good — ribeye with sautéed mushrooms. So that’s a bonus!
I’ll definitely come again when back in town.

Food was pretty good. Salmon was delicious. My son wasn’t a big fan of the burger but hubby and other son enjoyed the steaks. At the end of the day I may have returned but received the ultimate insult at check out. Server said they could not honor our military discount because it only applied to active duty. I guess those of us that fought for freedom and are wounded veterans don’t matter. That alone has lost my business.
No military discount I can accept — but treating us veterans unworthy is not okay in my book!

Typical TRH. First time Ive ordered the Chicken fried Steak. It was chewy but had a good flavor. I didnt care for the white cream gravy, it was a little to sweet. Hubby ordered (for first time) Portobello Mushroom chicken and it was amazing! So so good and flavorful and cooked perfectly. Definitely my new favorite! Definitely recommend it! We ordered our usual apps, Chez fries and Rattlesnake bites, I didnt care for the fries this time, snake bites are always good. Had a nice male waiter, friendly and courteous. The music was turned up a little louder than other locations. The girls at the front (hostess/seaters)are a little rude/​unfriendly/​immature. So yea. Same ol same ol.

I can in for their wonderful brown sugar butter rolls and that was it. However, I found that I had to order at least something so I ended up getting a kids Mac and cheese because it was only like 2 dollars and I wasn’t out to spend much money today.
It was a Monday night and the place was packed! There was a short wait. But once that was over i was seated and my server came with the rolls and I asked if I could order off the kids menu. And she said yes.
The rolls = amazing
Sautéed mushrooms = not half bad
Kraft Mac and cheese = might as well be plastic.
Why feed your kid this garbage? Texas Roadhouse labels it as Kraft so one cannot get upset, and it is dirt cheap. But still how sad.
4 stars because my service and food did now WOW me. However I look forward to returning maybe with friends this time.

Third time here. Waiting time to be seated has been between 15 to 25 minutes. Not that bad considering is always crowded of people. Great service. Food is hot, fresh, delicious. Ribs and steaks perfectly cooked. Love their bread! They served a huge amount of food, I ordered half rack of ribs and took more than half of my dish.

Can’t go wrong here, great happy hour and great people even the regulars. Come on down and belly up to the bar.

Since it is much to loud to enjoy your meal at the restaurant we have ordered to go twice since my original review.
In April we ordered the Catfish and it was awesome!
Friday May 1, 2015 we ordered steaks to go and they were under cooked and stringy.

Ok where to begin, at first entering the restaurant we weren’t greeted we were quickly asked how many then when I explained that we needed a table for 9 I was informed that all of my party had to be present in order to be seated then the hostess pointed to the policy on the wall very rudely. The service at the table was good but the food was unimpressive there is nothing you can get here that you can’t get anywhere else. I gave it three stars based on the service only.

I went here at 5pm on Saturday night and there was already a 40 minute wait! So, I sat at the bar and ordered. The ladies at the bar were very sweet and attentive. The food was not only delicious, but the portions were huge! I will be back again.

The steaks are still hands down the best in corpus christi tx, military discount is amazing, these guys really take care of the military community here in corpus, I haven’t seen or heard anything better when it comes to this place, the drinks are strong! The staff is friendly, the managers are always checking at every table to see how’s our meals, not one complaint from this location. While am living in corpus, I’ll still be able to give my business to this place.

We had a big birthday party of 21 persons and they sat us when the whole party arrived, like 15 mins after, which was pretty fast for a big party, but we did also call ahead. Our service was excellent! We had 3 servers and they were very courteous and helpful. Kudos to them! The apps were delicious: loaded potato skins & onion at our table. The house salad was just OK, kinda got semi soggy even with just one serving of ranch but I usually order the Cesar but was craving a green mix. My 16 ounce prime rib was succulent! Sort of a boneless bowl cut, if you will, ordered and served rare! Love it, super moist & velvety! Nice loaded baker, loved the salt rub on outside of potato! Great marbling on the prime rib and tasty au jus. Very reasonable for a full pound of prime rib and two sides for $ 19.99. I definitely recommend the roadhouse for your gathering. The servers are all over it and are courteous to let you pass first when walking thru restaurant. I was super pleased with whole restaurant experience! Thanks Roadhouse!

This little Kentucky/​Indiana based Chain is becoming one of my favorite places to get a steak!!! I came here last year while on a business trip (my 2^nd time at any Texas roadhouse) and they cooked my medium rare steak to perfection!!!
went in last night and sat at the bar and Maria was attentive and polite, she was busy but never let that stop her from making sure all was well with me food. I ordered the Dallas Filet 6oz and man it was seasoned to perfection, cooked perfectly, tender and juicy! nothing was needed for this meat… I chose the Cesar salad and sweet potato as my sides and the Potato was cooked perfectly as well. No burnt spots, no hard spot. just simply perfect!
would highly recommend to any one coming to Corpus to go see Maria at the bar and enjoy the food!

Food was great and service was outstanding. The manager came by to check on tables and when we asked if she could let our server know that we’d like more rolls, her response was «I can take care if that for you» and she did. One of my biggest complaints in restaurants is when the message doesn’t get relayed properly and the person you asked doesn’t feel like it’s their job since you’re not their table, so it was nice that the manager took are of our request.
My only complaint on this restaurant is the noise level is always extremely loud. It will never be a good place for conversation, business dinners or romantic dinners.
