Although my steak was delicious, the service was horrible and unwelcoming. It took awhile for me to get their attention to put in my order. The manager, Lauren, was very nice though, when she came by, she was very attentive and made sure I was all set. They didn’t have metal utensils for me to cut and eat my steak, but the plastic for and knife was fine. The margarita was really good! Definitely must try if you drink alcohol. Enjoy!

We came to Corpus from San Antonio already having some pretty high standards, knowing our local favorite food spots. We came across Bubba’s after doing some research… my girl’s birthday weekend had been going pretty good so I wanted to make sure we tried something new and Bubbles didn’t disappoint, with their meaty meaty pizza which I highly recommend just awesome. Down to the margaritas and beer everything was fantastic including the waiter.

Great place! Loved the food.(Gonna be using a bunch of fragment sentences– don’t judge!) this place is suitable for a couples date, going to eat with your sisters or a bunch of friends meeting up. Bar area is huge and the regular table are roomy… just as they should be in TX. Had an assortment of good drinks and I loved them all. Get the queso dip thing. It’s dank

Where do I start? We recently spent Easter weekend in Corpus Christi and used Unilocal to find the best place to eat on Saturday night. The reviews were good and Bubba’s reminded me of our favorite restaurant back home. I have a family with small kids so I have to be selective but this is the perfect place to get a fm great meal and some really cold beer ! We were told that the wait was about 20 min when we arrived but we were seated within the first 5 minutes. Our waitress was awesome ! She was quick and very informative when we told her we were from out of town. We started with the chips and queso with chorizo which was devine. We also ordered the curly mozzarella sticks and they were a big hit with the kids. We couldn’t make up our mind about dinner so we went with a gourmet burger and a small pizza just to say we tried both. It was too much food but we were very glad we ordered because they were both delicious. The fries are thinly cut and cooked perfectly and the Sunshine Burger was made with bacon bits in the ground beef and it made for a very flavorful bite. The pizza was gourmet. Thin crust with fresh ingredients and we were in love. The beer. Ohhh my the beer ! It was super cold and a perfect way to compliment our meal. They have a huge selection of draft beers and bottled beer too. They also have a full bar just in case you’re in he mood for a cocktail. They have their signature cocktails but we didn’t try those. In all this was by far our favorite restaurant in Corpus. We will tell all of our friends about it and we will definitely be back. Thanks to the staff for being so great. We hope we get the same service when we return !

My family and I visited the Resturant for the first time this weekend. The ambience was nice the surrounding music a little to loud but still entertaining. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our appetizers and entrees were a good portion size of food. Aside from everything tasting salty and very greasy we had a decent time. I would possibly go there again.

OMG! You have to come into Bubba’s 33. Brand new MP, Ed! Building energy, loves his guests, and his employees love working for him. The food is awesome and scratch! The burgers are 33% bacon, pizzas are stoned baked, while the beer is cold. Try this restaurant out… it’s a must!

Felt like a bother when my family dined there this weekend. We were a party of 8 around 11:30 am on a Sunday. I mentioned that we preferred a table since it is difficult for my mother to get in a booth(she uses a walker). That request was met with an eye roll by the main hostess. Another hostess took us to a table for 6 and I told her there were 8 of us. She responded by saying we’d have to sit at different tables. The restaurant was more than ½ empty. I asked if we could put 2 together. She said she’d have to ask her manager. She came back and said the manager wouldn’t allow us to move the tables but they did have a booth. We opted for the booth. Service by the waitress was good and food was decent but I couldn’t help but notice that they put 2 tables together near us to accommodate a party of 10. Perhaps they have an aversion to parties of 8 or people with disabilities. Either way, I won’t go back.

We had a great experience at Bubbas 33. The beer was ice cold, the food was great, and we received good service. We split the buffalo chicken sandwich & I’m so glad we did Bc it was huge. The fried pickles are really good too. We will definitely be going back!

We’ve been here before and it was ok. We must have sat for about 10 minutes before our waitress came around. I’m not too concerned with that but it wasn’t busy. Where was she? Now we came right about halftime of the NFL games. Do you think a sports themed location with 60 tv’s would be packed? Quite the opposite. Now let’s get back to our waitress. No offer of appetizer, we almost had to force our order. Then to place our meal was quite the task. I had the Philly cheesesteak and my wife had the Bacon Guacamole Burger. Both were nothing to write home about. The BG burger was actually the better of the two as the Cheesesteak was overly salty. Maybe some marketing to let people know your here and what you are. Maybe some work with the waitstaff on some customer service. I know that Bubba’s 33 is part of the Texas Roadhouse family. They should act like their siblings.

I went in to Bubbas with my family last night for my cousins birthday and I had been there many times before but never had any issues until last night with the worst service ever. First our waitress took forever to get our drinks and I ordered an appetizer and it was taking so long and I was asking her about them and she said that that they had their CEO’S in town and the higher up people so the kitchen staff is a little nervous about it. Like really what does that have to do with your customers? Then she brought them out an hour later and I am talking about them being so burned like almost black no joke !! At that point we were so frustrated, we finally ordered our food and then she brings the wrong orders. Geeze

First, this place is LOUD under the best circumstances, I don’t think I would want to be here during college or pro-football. For an appetizer, we shared the onion rings. They do have a heavy batter, but they are hand made, and with they way they layer the batter, I do think it is the best ring in town currently I had the bacon avocado burger — for a burger that is 33% bacon, this was one of the driest(over cooked?) burgers I have ever had. Unless you want to go with friends to scream at each other during a sporting event — I wouldn’t go back

I waited a few weeks to try this place out to let the hype die down. I went for a late lunch. They open at 3. We were greeted and seated promptly as we were literally the only patrons. I ordered a milkshake. The waitress, Ally(I believe) was super nice and attentive. Something was up with the ice cream machine and I ended up canceling the milkshake and getting a soda instead. My friend and I split the cheese fries and 6 mild wings for an appetizer. The cheese fries were yummy. The basket was super full. The serving size is enough for a group of 4 – 5 to share during an outing. The wings had a good flavor. I prefer spicier but I was sharing with someone who prefers the opposite. Either way, the sauce was good. Not too vinegary like other places. The wings were cooked perfectly and were nothing like you get from pizza delivery. I’ll definitely order them again on my own terms. As for our meals, we both ordered burgers. Mine was the bacon guacamole. I ate most of it which is a miracle by itself. The guacamole was the real deal. It was good all by itself which is rare when you’re not at a Mexican restaurant and even then it’s not always great. The only thing I didn’t like about the burger was the amount of bread. I was over the bun at the halfway mark. Also, I wish I would have chilled out on the cheese fries bc the burgers come with 14 million more. All in all I liked it, service was good, food was good. I didn’t get my milkshake but I’ll return to try one out.

The pizza is good. Atmosphere and patio great! Service, meh! Young people who I try to give a chance but when we went outside for a min, the waitress gave our table to someone else. Then instead of moving them she moved us. What if there wasn’t a table? Don’t get up and go to the bathroom at the same time… Jeez, well anyways, I love how it’s decorated and tap beer, but the noise level is so loud I can’t even hear or talk to the person in front of me. Even leaned over. It’s ok. I go bc it’s close to the house.

Went on a Friday night around 6:30. The place was quite busy so we put our name down and headed to the bar. We found two open stools, ordered a beer and decided to just eat there. The bartender was very friendly and super attentive. She had our drinks to us right away, took our order promptly and refilled when needed. My husband ordered pickle chips for an appetizer and they were good. They came with ranch and some kind of(what tasted like) a creamy BBQ sauce. I also let him order dinner and he chose a large Bubba’s 33 pizza. It was AMAZING. The crust was NY style… perfectly crisp and chewy all at the same time. It was one of the better pizzas I have had dining out. We took home ½ of the pizza it was so large. I also ordered a wedge salad and it was very tasty. The only change I would have made with it is that it could have been colder. I like my salad to be served on a chilled plate, lettuce cold, dressing cold, etc. We might have found a new mutual favorite place. We will be returning soon!

Again I find a place where the young ladies think they are gods gift. Sat for ten minutes at the empty bar waiting for service. As I waited I checked out the draft beer selection which was lacking in every way possible. No local beers just the run of the mill standards. I was presently surprised to see Sam Adams Summer Ale and when the young lady finally came over I ordered one. I told her I was going to pay cash as I wasn’t sure I wanted to stay. The total was 5 and change. I gave her 6.00 and pulled out another two bucks as a tip. She rang me up and did not bring me my change! She walked to the other side of the bar then looked my way. I waved her over and she came to me and asked, «yeah?» I said, «my change please» to which she mumbled«really?» As she walked back to the register to get my change. I got change and gave her a buck. She did not say«thank you.» Upon reading other reviews I opted out of eating. This place would not make it in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio or Austin. They are getting over on the good folks of Corpus Christi with big screen TVs, loud music and gimmicks. I expected more.

Stopped for lunch on Friday not knowing what to expect. The place was lively. The acoustics suck — too much background noise. Ordered the quest, which was really good if not just a bit small. The salsa that comes with it leaves much to be desired. Me and my crew ordered the California chicken sandwich, the 12 piece wings and the Sunshine burger. Sunshine burger was by far the best. I could not in good conscience recommend the other two to other human beings. We ordered sangria margaritas, frozen, and we didn’t like them. Ordered trash can punch… ugh! We stopped ordering alcoholic beverages after that. My sis later ordered the trash can punch and liked it. Different bartender, perhaps? Idk. Also, she had the pepperoni pizza and liked it. Granted, she compared it to Peter Piper Pizza«but with a better crust». Overall, food and drinks we’re mediocre at best. But I must say that the hostesses and staff are very friendly and accommodating, even if their booty shorts make me feel like I’m at Hooters.
