Amazing food and amazing service! Staff is always very personable and kind. I usually get my order to go and I still find the staff to be incredibly helpful and nice! You never wait long, even when they are busy

Our breakfast club has met here several times and we WILL return. We have all tried several items and have not been disappointed with the taste and presentation of their food. Service has been impeccable.

Three stars only because the food was good, but can’t give any more stars because the server was horrible. Monica, our server, rushed us ordering, never asked how we were doing, we would have to ask for something to drink every time, and she just generally ignored our table. It wasn’t like we were needy but it’s the fact that we were completely ignored.

Went to the egg I by powers. Somebody needs to give them a good recipe for biscuits an gravy. I would say it’s the worst I ever had but the worst was the donut shop in woodland park. Gravy over donuts???

Their blueberry pancake comes as one giant pancake with a side of eggs and sausage or bacon. The pancake is hands down one of the most well made pancakes i’ve ever had. Slightly crispy on the outside warm and moist on the inside… mixing that with the blueberry compote… you don’t really need syrup. The free coffee with check in is an amazing deal as well. I would say that in terms of quality, consistency, and general atmosphere, this place is everything you could want a breakfast/lunch spot to be.

My husband and I loved it. Even the coffee was so good, I ended up drinking it black. Definitely coming back here again.

This was the first place I took my infant son, and I was nervous about him fussing in a restaurant. The staff and even the other diners were completely kind and accepting. The food is pretty good, but not as good as IHOP or Village Inn. And it’s a bit pricey for what you are getting. A good place for family breakfast.

Really good breakfast joints are far and few between out here on Powers. I’m a big fan of a bloody Mary and properly poached egg, and they have no alcoholic breakfast drinks and rarely poach my eggs right. But unless I want to drive 20 minutes to Over Easy or La Tartine, I settle. Because I’m not a fan of IHOP, Panera or Einstein’s … unless I really want smoked salmon. My husband usually gets a pancake and a few sides and enjoys it all. The pancakes are enormous. I get usually get the Parisian Benedict or the veggie one and have resigned myself to the fact that their Bearnaise sauce has too much lemon juice in it or they add too much vinegar to the water when they poach their eggs. And my yolk is either undercooked(with runny whites) or overcooked(and medium). It’s probably one of the best things on the menu though. I’ll usually eat a few pieces of the potatoes, but they’re usually not crispy and a soft and white. It’s hit and miss though. Coffee is always good though. And service is always friendly. Haven’t had a bad experience.

Always great to go here. We usually go to the restaurant on Powers. Tyler was our server and he did a great job. Good food and great customer service! We enjoy going to this location!

Horrible food, everything was bland that I tried. Tried different locations, none were better then IHOP. This seems like more of a business meeting place then a family restaurant.

Ugh. This is like Denny’s but with less flavor and a higher price. Avoid at all costs.

split the mexican skillet. Great amount of food and they split it for us with no extra cost. Checked in on Unilocal and got a free coffee as well! great affordable place for breakfast.

The coffee was actually really, really good! Lots of options. I was going to give a 4 since their hot chocolate is made with water and not milk but they asked us if we wanted to go cups for the coffee, so I bumped it back up to a 5! I had the avocado chicken omelet and my friend had the Mexican skillet… highly recommend both! Great for the price.

I came around 8 in the morning and the waitresses were working hard. The service was quick and friendly. I loved that I got my own coffee and water carafes at the table. The Belgian waffles with strawberries, banana and toasted sweet pecans was DELICIOUS! They were arguably the best Belgian waffles I’ve had in a very long time. There was just enough crispiness on the outside, and the inside was perfectly moist and melted in my mouth. The fruit was fresh and the whipped cream was perfectly fluffy. The eggs were OK(nothing special for scrambled eggs) and the bacon was crispy. The waitress was attentive and made sure I got everything I needed and that the good was good. I will definitely be going back again and again. If you love the Original House of Pancakes(I did but there’s none in Colorado Springs), this is an even better option!

Great little breakfast spot that brings you an entire pot of coffee when you order a cup and I love it. They have excellent pancakes(wheat ones, way better than you ever expect) and low prices. Our waitress was so kind and helpful when we had questions about the menu. This is definitely one of our new go-to spots!

Food was just so-so for me. One or two steps above Denny’s and IHOP(maybe I ordered the wrong thing?), but the excellent service more than made up for it. Everyone was incredibly polite, and our waitress Kat even suggested we get a refill on our drinks to take with us in to-go cups. I would definitely go back just for the service, and I’ll order something other than the Vera Cruz omelette.

I ate breakfast here this morning while getting my car worked on across the street at Drive-In Autosound(also a 5 star review for them!) and it was just a wonderful peaceful experience. The waitress(wish I caught her name) was extremely polite, very helpful, and just an amazing sweet lady. My order had a few customizations, but was brought out promptly and exactly as ordered. I was offered free substitutions when I declined the included toast. My juice, coffee, and water were all kept fresh the entire time. I spent about an hour and half there eating slowly, reading my email, and enjoying the outside view. I didn’t feel one bit rushed. Restroom was clean as a whistle, too! After I left, I sent my wife a text reading, «We have a new breakfast place!» and I can’t wait to share it with her. TOPNOTCH breakfast joint!

I went at 11:00 on a Sunday, not the best time if you want to avoid the crowds but it was my boyfriends birthday and we like to sleep in some times. So we check in with an anticipated 20 minute wait — not bad. Its crowded, the waiting area here is practically non existent and unfortunately it was very cold outside. Since they don’t have buzzers signifying when your table is ready you’re forced to get friendly with a lot of people. Ugh. The host and person that sat us were both very friendly which I’m sure is a challenge during this time of day. We sat and were quickly greeted, brought drinks and had our orders taken. It took 25 minutes for our food to come out and they brought my boyfriend and I both the wrong kind of toast. We also asked for a side of ranch that never came. These types of things can be expected when you go out on a Sunday and we really wouldn’t have minded if we hadn’t seen our server chatting it up with the hostess so often during our meal. Very frustrating. The food tasted good. I got the Athena Scramble and my guy got a skillet. However, my meal wasn’t hot, just warmed, also disappointing. We went here because it was close to home but next time we will probably drive the extra miles to a local breakfast place.

Went for breakfast, the food was very good. We ate outside on a very pleasant day. They had lost one of their umbrellas and so we didn’t have one, we just arranged ourselves around the table to keep the morning sun out of our eyes. They offer a make-your-own Bloody Mary. They bring a glass with vodka in it and then you go to a «bar» with all sorts of things to put in the Bloody Mary. I’m not a big fan of this kind of thing. Any decent bartender can come up with a good-to-great Bloody Mary using ingredients that he/she is used to working with, whereas Joe Schmo is at the mercy of his skill and the ingredients presented. My award-winning secret ingredient, Rose’s Lime Juice, was not present. I’d suggest bringing your own vodka and use your water glass and their ingredients to make a better drink. Of course you will probably be thrown out and/or go to jail for doing so.
