$ 3.29 for a pot of hot tea-​seriously?
The Salmon omelet had a nice taste except the salmon did not seem to be very high quality (but I’ve lived in AK so maybe I’m too particular). It tastes a lot better with cream cheese than sour cream.

I prefer writing good reviews but sometimes when things go so bad it needs being noted to location, You Have A Problem. Husband and I got a buy one get one entrée for his birthday I believe it was, so we went for an early hamburger, we went early Saturday about 4 for Brie Mushroom burgers, ordered them med rare to medium… our burgers were blackened charred black burned dry awful to point of joke topped with barely warmed. Not sauteed and cooked as photo on menu, mushrooms, and the two chunks of brie on top were hard as rocks, not all drizzled melted as shown on menu. Well we just said ok no biggie, ate mostly the fries with our drinks and relaxed. said oh well, but then when our server offered to bring us a Free piece of birthday cake, but never showed up with it, then brought check and we asked about it, she said oh yes. Then Took our check with her and then dropped it back off. BUT NO CAKE, said Have A great evening and away she went. seriously a Twilight Nightmare Evening. WAS SO BAD IT BECAME FUNNY. Wasn’t busy, Manger came on floor, we gave him the LOOK of come on over but he didn’t…ahh well, usually enjoy going there, but this time was a bust. I mean worst burgers EVER EXPERIENCE.

We tried out Mimi’s tonight and loved it! Wonderful customer service and great food! Our waitress, Keiki, was so sweet and helpful. We had the Quiche Florentine and the peppercorn steak and both were excellent. We will visit again for sure!

This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. They have the best french onion soup ever. The service is really good.

A nice change of pace for a late lunch with my wife. I absolutely loves the frites here. I do enjoy the décor of Mimi’s also. I had the burger with mushrooms and melted brie on sourdough, it hit the spot. My wife had a roast beef sandwich and the au jus was fantastic. I do recommend Mimi’s for special occasions it gives a really fancy vibe for a reasonable price.

I love the food. I’ve only ever had one bad dish there, the deviled eggs. The eggs are definitely boiled somewhere off site and shipped in. They taste like the hard boiled eggs you can get in a gas station. Anyways, everything else is incredible. I recommend the Brie and mushroom burger or the pot roast with mashed potatoes. Delicious! My biggest complaint is the service. It’s a shame that this place has such bad management and therfore bad employees. I think it’s the reason there are no more than 10 cars in the parking lot on a Friday or Saturday night. Just ignore the service and enjoy the food!

I love Mimi’s! Fantastic French Onion Soup, creative salads and really good muffins! I come here every time I visit and enjoy the attentive service, fun décor and great food.

Food is pretty good, my mom and I always enjoy the corn chowder. But the service is always horrible. I keep giving it another try (even waiting a year in between visits) I don’t know why and I don’t know if I want to anymore. Cheer up people!

Good food but what I really like about this restaurant so far has been the service. The servers have been great, especially last time and the manager is very customer oriented. A lot of the times you rarely see a manager in a restaurant setting. I’ve seen him every time we’ve been there and he’s been very attentive both times. Example: today we went for dinner and my kiddo got the chills. She’s a freeze baby so we had a sweater in the car for her which I went and got. The manager came over, asked if we were ok and if he could turn down the air even and then refilled my drink. We’ll definitely be back with this type of service.

Went at 7:00 this morning (they open at 7:00) – they hadn’t unlocked their doors by 7:05, so we are trying the Egg and I!

LOVE Mimi’s but especially love this location! Wait staff and manager always are so attentive and I love the atmosphere here. Love the chicken pot pie and wish I could go everyday to soak up the pleasant ambience and nice staff.

Food took to long and they brought everything out at once which I don’t like personally. They were out of most beer and the waitress kept forgetting what we asked for. Now the food was still good and most the time this place is good. I think today may have just been an off day.

Loved their salmon, chocolate croissants and caesar salad. I would definitely come back for either lunch or breakfast.

I can’t give many stars to a chain restaurant as a rule ;-)
But I do come to this location now and then with VERY large groups. They are able to accomodate us and we like the large menu selection that can fit the several necessities that it comes with a group of 20 – 30 people.
I usually choose the Ham and Cheese crepes and a café’ au lait. I can’t say that this is the best food in town, but it does have its up sides to be able to go to a restaurant that can easily fit such a large group. I also truly like the look and feel of both Mimi’s (the other one is near Marshall’s on the north end).
For a chain, I’d say they have done a good job at trying to making it feel ‘cozy and interesting’.

Mimi’s café is by far my favorite restaurant. The lunch specials are delicious and affordable! Service is always phenomenal!

Came here for lunch today.
Its usually pretty quiet, with an older vibe. Décor is kind of kitschy.
Service: Seated quickly and orders taken quickly. Food came out sloow though, don’t think that was the waitresses fault. She seemed to be hustling pretty good with all the tables she had.
Food: Pretty much all comfort food. And it was excellent on this visit. I had the pot roast (could be a slightly larger portion), but it was cooked perfectly and the broccoli and potatoes were very good as well.
Its a good lunch spot, if you have some time.

On my cross-​country trip from Boston to Seattle, I stopped by Colorado Springs to see my sister. She INSISTED that we take our grumbly tummies to Mimi’s Café; I happily obliged.
Mimi’s was super rad! Two (right?) large rooms with tall ceilings; definitely made for a great place to relax and eat your life away. My sister then insisted that I order a mimosa and some sort of benedict dish… boy, was she right. Damn good.
Maybe this is standard, but coming from Boston where everyone is cold and quiet, and then in Seattle where looking at another person is not acceptable, I found my waitress to be the most pleasant ever.

The food is great at this location and so is the service. We ate here last evening and our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent; it tasted excellent, was served at the proper temperature and looked great. It’s great that they have the $ 5 Wine special all the time. We will surely be going back on a regular basis.

Mimi’s is a pretty typical place to go with your mother, and we did just that. Their breakfast is exactly what you would think: eggs, bacon, omelets, waffles, muffins. Staff was nice and handled a shift change very well.

Best service yet!
When one makes a mistake (ie: a certain moving company I’ve recently reviewed) & they are belligerent about owning up to and exceeding expectations, I tend to want to warn others.
In the same regard, when one owns up to their mistake and then proceeds to see to your every whim AND then chooses to cut your bill in half, you want to make sure they are not only noticed, but rewarded!
This is the case with this Mimi’s location.
What did they do that was so horrible?!? They didn’t greet us upon sitting. Yep, that’s it! That’s all.
The waitress gushed apologies, made everything right and then cut our bill in half.
I wish all businesses could have this much integrity (ie: a certain low-​down, shady, willfully criminal moving company).
