FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

All the usual features you’ve come to expect from FedEx/Kinko’s,
Quick printing, copies and shipping as well as some oft needed office supplies. The staff here are the stars though, as they’re always willing to offer help and suggestions to make your visit that much easier. Kudos!

I’m torn here.
Service: The service was good. The guy at the counter was really helpful.
BUT
Price: I was NOT prepared for how much it’d cost to print a few booklets. They weren’t anything special. I can print them through my company’s print shop (Ricoh) for 70 CENTS a book. So, when I got slapped with $ 120 DOLLARS for printing a few of these books I was horrified. I had NO idea they’d be that much; otherwise, I’d never have even had them printed. They weren’t anything special: 10 sheets of 11×17 paper folded in half and stapled in the center to make a 20-​page 8×10 book in color on some paper that was just a little heavier than regular paper. It was like $ 20 a freaking book. I have no idea if that is normal or if Fed Ex just really price gouges here. But NEVER EVER EVER again.
So, I mean as long as you’re printing a book, then maybe? The people were nice.

My simple mailing requests have been fulfilled at this FedEx Kinko’s center– everything was trackable and delivered when promised.
Throughout the room are cardboard boxes and envelopes of all sizes for sale. Sorry, I haven’t had to use their copy and print machines, so I don’t know how many there are or how well/​fast these work. The business is located in the newer complex near the Egg & I at Barnes Rd and Powers Blvd, so the parking lot is nicely paved, but the size of the lot directly in front of the buildling is small. However, there is plenty of parking around the development as a whole.
Employees are there to get the job done, so although they may be brisk and unsmiling, they are efficient and overall seem to listen and communicate well.
The 1-​star subtraction is that it never seems staffed up enough during rush hour, and this was evident this past Tuesday. I always seem to get stuck behind customers with much more complicated orders, and with only one or two employees available, I’ve had waits that are much longer than they should have been.
