I don’t usually come to this location but I wasn’t pleased with my experience. Food came out just fine, bathrooms were clean and the location was spotless however our server and the person checking us out had poor attitudes and were being rude. Server did the bare minimal and wasn’t friendly at all. Seemed lifeless as if she was just trying to serve us and get us out lickety split. Never said a word, not even a greeting, just very awkward. Kinda ruined the whole dining experience for us. The cashier never made eye contact and didn’t have a sense of humor. Also very lifeless and didn’t greet us or say anything after the transaction as we walked out the door. I’d come back in here again as we usually have a good time in here but that day absolutely was not a good day.

Sad. Went here just for some pie after dinner and would never return. VI used to be known for their tasty pies — but what we were served was bland, artificial, disappointing and tasted like it was stamped out in a factory, frozen and thawed out table side. I had the lemon meringue — the ‘lemon’ tasted more like artificial lime jello, the crust was dry and the meringue was thin, flat and bland. My husband tried the chocolate cherry special, as recommended by the waiter, and disliked it so much he didn’t even finish it. It was flavorless, the cherries (which were just canned mush) were off-​putting to even look at and again, the crust was dry and tasteless. This dying chain is clearly cutting corners and losing touch with even remotely putting effort into what they put out.

The food is great. But the service is quirky. Seems like every time we are here, the servers are socially awkward. Always pleasant, and hard working but awkward. Usually a wait every Sunday morning for the church crowd so be prepared if you go in on a Sunday.

So being that they deleted the picture of the food I was served I will take the time to add a review. I took my daughter to here for a quick breakfast. On the positive the establishment is very clean inside. So I ordered the kids French toast and eggs Benedict. I asked for my hash browns to be extra crispy. When the good came out my hash browns looked like they had been soaked in a stick of butter for a week. There was no sigh of potato… just bright glowing yellow everywhere. The eggs Benedict sauce tastes like they reused utensils that had been used for a type of mint substance because that’s what the sauce tastes like. My daughters French toast was soaked in butter as well. I cringed knowing she had eaten it after I saw. Overall our server was great but the cook in the back clearly does not realize that if your customers die of heart attacks due to excessive butter use, you won’t have any left for your business. So the lesson of the story… butter does not make everything better. The cook needs to relax and understand that a little butter or oil goes a long way.

Great restaurant. Both me and my boyfriend love it so much since we had our first date here. Their pies are just outright amazing and is delicious, it’s no wonder they’ve been voted the best pie chain in the world for nearly a solid decade. We always pick one up for holidays. My all time favorite pie is the caramel pecan silk supreme. Their Christmas peppermint pie and St Patrick’s Day special pie are amazing. I also like how they serve breakfast all day, making this a great place to go after doing some fasting for blood tests

Went for breakfast on a Thursday morning, there was only one other couple there. We were seated quickly but then sat there for nearly 15 minutes before we decided to leave because no waitress ever appeared. I would have been happy to wait if it was busy but it wasn’t.

Very good lunch special, turkey bacon avacodo pita sandwich was great.

Great place to eat or just talk over a cup of tea. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is reasonably priced. Wednesdays are free pie night.
