The good: it’s chipotle and they’re pretty much all the same. The bad: slowest service I’ve ever had and they are constantly out of something. For the past few days this location was out of tortillas, fajitas, and black beans… why? According to the sign it was because they get fresh produce in daily and they were unable to get those products fresh. However, I went to the location in the mall, guess what they had? Everything that the other location didn’t have. Kinda sounds to me like the manager or whomever does the ordering didn’t order those ingredients. The staff is somewhat friendly but when I went on a few days after the initial«outage» I walked in and was the only one in line and I stood at the counter by the tortillas and no one walked up to help me or say«hey sorry I am just finishing up with this rice» or whatever, they said nothing so I turned around, walked out and went to Currito right down the street. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to completely stop going to chipotle bc of the poor customer service and constant issues with this location yet or not. I think this location needs a management change asap bc it doesn’t seem to be up to the chipotle standard by a long shot. Pretty poor all around.

Good was dried out. The store was disgusting food all over the counter and the grill had gunk piled up on it the staff was rushed and I was the only one at the counter. I got two bowls and my wife’s had a hair in it we will not be coming back and I STRONGLY suggest no one else does

Ok, I went to this location for dinner last night. It was moderately busy and was smack dab in the middle of the dinner hour. I wanted to use this as an excuse to how disgusting the bathrooms were, but the amount of build up on the toilet showed how infrequently it is cleaned. I have always been told that the cleanliness of the restrooms is a good indicator of the cleanliness of the kitchen… this is pretty scary. On another not, the food was decent but I am vegetarian and ordered the sofritas. I found two pieces of chicken in my bowl… which I have never experienced at a Chipotle before. I will avoid this location.

Was in yesterday. Tons of employees manning the line and only a few showed more than a passing interest in customer service. When I got my burrito back to the office I discovered that it wasn’t even rolled up, just squished into the foil wrapper with no care whatsoever. It immediately collapsed into a cold, wet mess(it had been slathered in way too much freezing cold sour cream). I at a few bites with a fork before giving up and tossing the whole thing in the trash. I won’t be back to this location.

Chipotle has online ordering available to expedite your order and you don’t have to wait in line. Don’t bother using online ordering for this particular store because they will NEVER have it ready when you get there. I’ve tried submitting my order 30 minutes ahead, 45(multiple times) and even an hour. Not ready any of those times. They always have the order. They go in back and get the order ticket when you tell them the name but it’s never made. Never. I really don’t understand why they even offer it seeing as how they clearly cannot utilize it properly. Having said that my food has always been good, made correctly, albeit untimely, and I never found a fly in my burrito bowl like the other Unilocalee stated. Yuk. 2 stars. Go to the mall Chipotle instead if you have the option. Much more efficient there.

Good experience today. This is the only place where my kids will eat a salad without me asking. Staff was friendly. Food was hot. Will be back!

I’ve never written a review on something. Nothing usually bothers me enough to be so critical of a place, but this chipotle location in Kenwood on Montgomery rd(not the one on the mall) is terrible. I signed up for Unilocal simply to write a review about this chipotle. There have been one too many instances there where I’ve felt like the staff could care less about how they present themselves and their food. The only reason I continue to go there is because its a couple minutes from my house. I’m very tempted to start going to the one in the mall. To start off, they are super slow and they could care less. One time I was ready to tell the lady what I was getting in my bowl and she just walked away and start cleaning off the counters and sweeping behind the counter. Knowing that there was a line to the door. I seriously stood there for 5 min just watching her clean up behind the counter and she wouldn’t even acknowledge me. I didn’t know what the heck was going on! Finally, the guy making the burritos stepped in and asked me what I wanted in my bowl. Even he looked confused on why she just stopped helping the people in line. Needless to say they are usually very slow and just chit chat in between orders. Also, most of the staff look like zombies. They never smile and are just very unfriendly. Not all of them, the cashiers are usually very nice but the people making the bowls and burritos always look mad! To me, that’s a huge turn off. Now for the food. My boyfriend and I have ordered online there a couple times and both times we went in to pick it up and it wasn’t even made yet!!! Isn’t that the whole point behind ordering online? Next, I’ve had a huge dead fly in my food on one of my online orders. I saw it as soon as I opened the lid of my bowl. Needless to say I almost threw up and we took it straight back to chipotle and got our money back. The manager offered us a free meal but I couldn’t even fathom eating any of there food. I didn’t go to that chipotle again for about two months. I swore I’d never go back after the fly incident but I broke down because its so close to my house. I always made sure to carefully watch them as they made my food to make sure no flies were going in it. Things were okay for a while besides the non smiling zombie workers. Then one day I went there and took my food home and was eating and saw a white thing in my bowl. It was some sort of plastic wrapper. Thank goodness I saw it before I ate it!!! It’s like come on people, watch what you are doing!!! Now I have to move my food around with a fork and check my food every time before I eat it! How ridiculous is that?! Its very unsettling to think there might be something in your food due to there lack of laziness. The food always tastes pretty good but the rice is hard sometimes and sometimes the guacamole has a weird taste. It just depends on what day you go I guess. Lastly, tonight I went there and was in line, and was up to tell the lady what I wanted in my bowl and before she asked me what I wanted in my bowl she took a napkin and wiped down the dirty counter! She didn’t change her gloves after she wiped the counter down and then asked me what I wanted in my bowl. I was grossed out but didn’t want to say anything. I said cheese and and she stuck her dirty hand in the cheese and put it in my bowl. I was shocked! That was the last straw. I needed to write a review. I don’t think they care about hygiene or cleanliness at all! If they are that sloppy in front of customers, it makes me wonder how they are behind closed doors. I don’t really want to continue going to this location, which sucks because its so close and I love chipotle. They just need a whole new staff.

Really not a good place. The map on here appears to be at the mall but the address indicates that it’s the one east of 71, a few blocks down, and that’s the one I’m reviewing. Wow. I never complain on this and really never review but this is the worst chipotle I’ve ever been to. The product is hard to screw up and really it’s all about the staff at a place like this. They were so bad and so slow and it was not during a rush. I could go on about all the issues but basically the workers were terrible, they guy didnt even wrap the burrito, it looked like a big taco and then had to double wrap it. The worst part was it was DRIPPING with grease. I’ve never seen that before. It was leaking all over. I’m sure this place could be fine when good people are working but this weekday night it was bad.

I am a fan of chipolte and assuming this is the restaurant location that is on Montgomery road by Jimmy Johns, this is the location we frequent. I like it here because the cashiers are very friendly; i bring my daughter in so much, and she is a sweetie, that the cashier gave her a free meal on her birthday. Now that is service. The food servings and pricing are inconsistent; it’s obvious that chipolte is trying to save money by raising their prices and reducing their serving sizes, but the serving size is why people come. My daughter usually gets beans, rice and cheese and we’re charged anywhere from 1.95 to 6.25. The cashier told us last night that the price just went up to 6.25; I think that is crazy because we are not getting meat or veggies, which is the expensive stuff. I think they make it hard to feed little ones; for me, that is too much money for a kid’s ‘fast food’ meal. It is also freezing cold in there. It tastes good, but chipolte is losing it’s charm. They serve beer and Margarita.

When you go to a fast-food restaurant, they have very little time to make an impression on you, so the things that you notice right away become your impression. The first things I noticed: THETEMPERATURE. Holy moly, I swear to you, they must have had their A/C turned down to 40 degrees or something, because it was uncomfortably cold in there. So cold, in fact, that if I had been considering eating there, I’d have changed my mind. I could barely stand to wait in the line for 5 minutes to order my burrito. I was so cold that I almost walked out and went to the nearby Jimmy John’s instead. The angry woman filling a ton of drink cups. Chipotle has the benefit of being able to order by fax, online or from your iPhone. Generally, when you order a meal, and several drinks, you should be able to walk up to the counter and get your whole order, and walk out. They didn’t even have enough drink carriers/cups to accommodate this order out– and the staff was slow in helping this woman to get what she needed. Then, once they procured enough supplies, they just left her to fill all of the cups on her own. What’s the point in pre-ordering if it’s not ready when you get there?! The 5 minutes that the cashier was absent from the register, leaving 6 people backed up in the line and waiting just to be rung up. I know that health codes and basic sanitation require the person handling the money to not be the person handling the food, but there were 2 people cooking, 3 people preparing burritos and… NOBODY running the cash register? Really? I don’t spend an inordinate amount of time in the Kenwood area, but there are a lot of Chipotle locations around town. I’ll think twice about coming back to this one.

I’ve gotten food poisoning from this Chipotle location TWICE now. Obviously there is something wrong with me that I went back a second time and I’m still giving it two stars, but that’s only because their weekday staff is incredibly nice. Both incidents were on the weekend and the staff during those times… well, the less said the better. I still love Chipotle but I can’t bring myself to eat at this location anymore even though its about 3 minutes from my house. It pains me.

As a member of Chipotle’s Farm Team, it really pains me to write a negative review about a location. There are many great Chipotle’s in Cincinnati, and this is not one of them. The employees are some of the worst I have ever been around. Many times, the line is out the door and it moves no where. This team is definitely not the most efficient. The food/serving sizes are also very inconstant. One lady will put two scoops of rice in one burrito, while one gentleman will barely put half of a scoop. Hopefully something changes there soon. Otherwise I will visit other locations to get away from this one!

The service and quality of food have really gone down hill. the wait is long and the wait staff is slow and just chit chatting with each other. The rice is cooked hard, I hate to say this but they don’t know how to cook it any more. not what it used to be.

This Chipotle is smack dab in the middle of the very busy food court in the Kenwood Towne Center shopping mall. It’s conveniently located near the men’s bathroom so you can quickly wash your hands before you eat(thanks Mom). One very strange anomaly that I experienced here was that they were out of forks. There was no reason or explanation, but thankfully there are over half a dozen places to ask for utensils.(Shouldn’t a manager have gone out to the store and bought some, or just borrowed from another eatery? Oh well.) The food was fresh and tasty. I almost crushed my entire chicken burrito bowl. Oh, and another thing that makes this different from a typical Chipotle is that you have to ask for the different sauces and they give you miniscule portions in plastic ramekins. Not sure why they can’t have some in front for people to use liberally, but I’m sure some klepto people would walk off with them.
