This place makes the Burrito into a Rockstar of your choosing. I like Chipotle a lot, but this place is heads and tails more tastier, friendlier and a double wow on how many healthy choices too add on! They have a build your own Burrito on the menu plus a number of pre-selected options. Go for the build your own then go to town on yummy ingredients like mango salsa, kale, caramelized onions, hummus, sliced almonds, bok choy, quinoa, just to name some of the fancy-dancy ones! The steak Build your Own Burrito to go cost $ 6.99. I literally ate it for two different meals as the thing is freakn huge! Siskel and Eibert would give them two thumbs up if they where still in the rating game!

Love the menu options compared to chipotle’s limited menu as far as add on items to your bowl or burrito. This location is much better than the chipotle down the street. I’ve never had an issue with them running out of anything or inattentive staff. The portions are always great and so is the taste. If you like chipotle I recommend you give this place a shot just for the fact that they have a decent amount of add on items like cucumber, hummus, or caramelized onions(yum). Also, for you healthy eaters out there. Currito uses chicken breasts rather than chicken thighs which is what chipotle uses so the chicken thighs have more calories and fat content. Overall I’ve never had any issues with ordering, staff, or food so give this place a shot over the train wreck of a chipotle that’s down the street that could have run out of tortilla shells(yes, I’ve been there and seen it with my own eyes… smh)

I don’t know what was going on today, but they really need to get it together! As I was going down the assembly line, I saw them screw up two people’s orders. They put someone else’s order in between my bowl and my boyfriend’s burrito. Just keep everything in the order that it was ordered in. It caused so much confusion! When I got to the end of the counter to pick up my bowl, I saw that it was in a to-go bag and a woman was reaching for it, thinking it was hers. Good thing I was paying attention! I like the food here but they really need to fix the way they make the orders!

In a world dominated by Chipolte and Qdoba stands Currito. Trying to find a name for it’s self and completely does everything right. But has no driving features to make it stand out at all They have a build your own bowl/burrito which in every sense puts it directly shoulder to shoulder with Chipolte, but they also have premade options if you’re to lazy to think for yourself. Living on the west side of Cincinnati I doubt I’ll drive the 20 – 25 mins to eat here. But if I’m in Kenwood I might pop in… might

Currito is a great alternative to Chipotle. I did the build your own burrito and found the ingredients very fresh with a few more options that Chipotle. The ambiance was casual and clean and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back.

Had the chicken tiki marsala burrito. Very tasty but my bowl was very very small compared to most burrito spots. I dont think i have ever left a burrito bar with my appetite unsatisfied.

I did the BYOB, steak, Regular size for $ 6.99 It was pretty good, but nothing that blew me away by surprise. A decent alternative to Chipotlbae and I’ll come back for sure. Three stars because I don’t like the ordering process on a busy lunch day. They also are more expensive than my normally burrito choice and the nest portion was for sure smaller. Good flavor, nice staff.

I have tried just about everything on the menu and although the food is generally pretty good, nothing stands out. Also the layout is a mess, I realize they are trying to be different but it does not work well. You are asked what items you want before you see them. I might be inclined to order more if I can see how something looks, or vice versa. Also went today and waited about 15 mins to order only to find out they were out of chicken! !!! No time was given when or of it would be available. This needs to be painted on the front door. Could of saved me time. Nothing was offered for the trouble so I left. The others in line behind me left as well. Chipotle down the street took some business(more than usual) this night…

I haven’t liked Chipotle for years and I must say that Currito tastes nothing like it! You should be eating here too. It’s a locally owned franchise from the same people that brought us Bakersfield and The Eagle. Need I say more?

I just discovered Currito, and it is my new go-to for fast-casual dining. This ain’t your average burrito place! :cough cough Chipotle cough cough: Currito is set up so that you can make a burrito from one of their premixed options, or you can make your own. They have your typical Chipotle-esque burrito, called The Classic, with your choice of meat, cilantro rice, black beans, corn salsa, sour cream, and cheese. But they also have some interesting options, like the Tikka(an Indian burrito with rice, curried chick peas, tikka masala sauce, yogurt raita sauce, and your choice of meat) or the Buffalo(your choice of meat, white rice, celery, buffalo sauce, and blue cheese cole slaw). The Bangkok thai burrito is their most popular, but I like the Tikka the best! You can get your burrito in a small size or a normal size or in a bowl(for a little extra because it’s bigger). All the ingredients are fresh, interesting, and the service is fast. They also make their own fresh smoothies here if you’re still hungry after your giant burrito! I haven’t tried them yet, but they sound awesome. As I was walking out, I saw a sign that said that they are owned by the same restaurant group that owns The Eagle and Bakersfield. No wonder the food is this good! For under $ 8 it really can’t be beat.

I like that they have two different burrito sizes that you can choose from. Also the build your own option is great because they have much more options than Chipotle. The best part: You can toast your burrito at the end, making it crispy! They also have buffalo sauce, which is amazing. Now if they would open a location in Hyde park! Perfect opportunity to open one in the new Oakley Square complex!

Sister eatery of Bakersfield OTR and The Eagle, it’s a nice alternative to Chipotle and Q-Doba. A little on the high side in price given the smaller portions, but it’s always good to claim to have sustainable foods in their menu. The staff seems small in numbers and I fear the service would be too slow during a lunch hour rush, unless they had the assembly line set up as other fast-casual restaurants do. Good drink options.

Just enjoyed a steak thai burrito and it was amazing! The asian slaw that they used was super fresh! The burrito was full, but not messy and the extra time in the panini press gave the shell some texture. Will go again to this fast casual.

We just heard of this place today, and being lovers of both Qdoba and Chipotle, decided to give it a shot. The portions are a bit smaller than the others, but they make up for it in taste. They have a lot of international options, like Indian(tikka) and Mediterranean, but you can also build our own. You can choose from a small or regular sized burrito, or a bowl. I got the tikka and it was amazing. I suggest giving it try, but don’t count on leftovers. They also have smoothies, snack wraps, and quesadillas.

You may think Chipolte when you see Currito. And you’d be right, partially. In layout, ordering experience, and price they are basically the same. However, the variety in flavor enhancements and protein options here really take this quick service experience to the next level. I mean curried chickpeas? Organic tofu? Asian Slaw? Thai Peanut Sauce? Hummas? Feta Cheese? These toppings are next level for sure. Quick service and great fresh menu options make this place a great choice. The décor is beautiful and minimalist. I loved the all wood look. I prefer this over Chipolte for sure.

My friend just introduced me to this magical land of international themed burritos. My only regret is that Currito is the only place to get some of these dishes. The saving grace being there are plenty of locations around town. I’ll definitely be back to mix and match to my heart’s content.

I love that this place has international options. From a vegetarian point of view, it is also really awesome that they have tofu. However, I will say that I think it was pricier than Chipotle and the portions were significantly smaller. And while I enjoyed the option for tofu, I find braised tofu to be a bad a choice. I think that if the meat options are all grilled, there is a reason for that flavor choice, and the tofu should have the same charred taste and consistency. I found the smoosh of the tofu to be not the best option for the palette of the burritos. Lastly, I also felt that they could have been more fillers that are not the protein(that is, more vegetables, etc.), but I understand they have limited space behind the counter. I think it is a good alternative to Chipotle, but I didn’t fall in love,

First time trying, I’ll be back again. I decided to compare the apple here to the apple just down the street at the burrito joint I’ve gone to for years that used to be owned by McDonald’s. You know the one. So I got the same burrito here that I’ve had there a million times. I have to say, I liked my experience here better. Taste wise, the chicken burritos are pretty much the same. The flour tortillas here a a little bit thicker, which I like, but the flavor and textures were otherwise about the same. The big difference that has this place edging out my old reliable? Options! Teriyaki burritos? Tikka burritos? Options I’d never expect to find at a quick service burrito joint. They all looked amazing and I’m looking forward to trying all of it! They also had an unexpected treat, Mexican Coke Cola! If you’re old like me you’ll remember the difference in the way Coke tasted back in the 70s and the way it tastes today. The difference is that back then it was made with real cane sugar and now it’s made with corn syrup. Not Mexican Coke though. Cane sugar is actually cheaper down where it’s grown so they still make it the old fashioned way and it’s better. Such a treat! The young lady behind the counter was as sweet as the old school soda. She walked me through the menu options and did so with a smile. For quick service they have fantastic service and food with many more options than that other place.
