This place was great. Owner was really friendly and so was the staff. If you authentic Thai in this area this is the place

I’ve visited them several times in the last several weeks. Their stir fry is OK for fast food. Don’t bother with their curries. Difficult for them to get orders correct. Today three of us ordered three menu items, one delivered to our table. They were confused and didn’t cook the 2nd item until later. The 3rd item was incorrect and sent back, and we waited. One of our team missed lunch. They insisted we pay for order that was incorrect and sent back. Worse, they refused to replace the order with correct menu item.

While eating the #32 Panang chicken, an old Alicia Keys song started playing in my head… «this girl is on fire!!!»…whew…spicy hot… couldn’t stop though – it was so yummy! Not sure what heat level that was. 3? 4? I might have to see how a 2 is next time.

Came here for lunch and was told to sit wherever we would like. Two cups of water were promptly brought to us without asking. We ordered a large bowl of Tom Yum Gai, Pad Thai, and a sweet and sour chicken dish. The Tom Yum was spicy, but that is about all it had going for it. There was no real flavor to it, and tasted more like water. The Pad Thai was bland compared to others I have tried. The sweet and sour chicken was the best item we got, and I did enjoy that dish. Service was quick, and the staff were friendly. Due to the blandness of 2⁄3 dishes we ordered, I do not plan on returning.

Jasmine is a hidden gem of Chesapeake, although the décor of the restaurant is a little drab, it’s really all about the food and the service, both of which are good. I had the Blue crab fried rice which is made fresh and is delicious, the portion is ample which allows you to share if you so desired. All in all a great place to eat and I’ll definitely be back again.

dont know why they advertise delivery because their driver is apparently always«sick». food is also sub par with other thai locations in the area. I recommend elsewhere before here.

This is like going to your Thai Aunties house and having her cook you her best dish. Food always fresh, spice level perfect(they do spicy, so make sure you preference), and the taste is delicious! Some of the best Thai I’ve had in the area.

Hands down BEST Thai food we have had in Virginia! The service is always great, and each dish is made to order. The ingredients are FRESH and the restaurant is super clean. Our waitress was so helpful with our 8 mth old who likes to grab and throw everything off the table LOL. We haven’t had Thai food this GOOD since our duty station in NC6 years ago!

I’ve been coming here since they opened a few years ago. It’s consistently awesome Thai food at reasonable prices. I especially enjoy the curry dishes(the Massaman is my favorite) and the Pad Si Ew. Kai Saparot is another of my favorites. There’s plenty of room to dine in but they have a lot of takeout business too. If you enjoy Thai food give Jasmine a visit. If you don’t like Thai food give them a visit anyway, you may be pleasantly surprised.

I got the coconut soup and Panang curry. Both were amazing. I got mine 2.5 spiced and it was just enough to make my nose start to tickle lol. It was super cold and snowed just a bit earlier in the day and I wanted to attempt Thai food in the area agin. I usually went to Bangkok garden in ptown and they were incredible and I went regularly. But I moved about 7 mos ago and have tried a few different places. Needless to say this spot is my new go to! They cook in a cute like home kitchen and it smelled soooo good when I went to get my take out. You can tell it’s a family business and they care about what they serve.

So I came back and it was awful! I was so hoping it was good like the last time. I got a waiter with an attitude. The food took 30 – 40 minutes to come out and was wrong. I ordered Tofu and veggie curry. I asked that it be mild instead of «burn your damn mouth off and die» of course it came out«burn your damn mouth off and die» The Tofu wasn’t cooked fried it came out steamed. I expressed this to the waiter… yeah the one with the attitude. She said I needed to request that… umm…WRONG! my last visit I didn’t and it came out fried. So I asked for my money back and orderd a side of spring rolls, paid, and skipped out the door. I won’t be back, I can get Thai elsewhere without the attitude and lava sauce.

After my typical Thai place failed me, I’ve been looking for a place that amazes me. This was definitely the one! I have driven by it multiple times, so it was time for me to finally stop by. We were the last ones in the restaurant since it was late at night, but the owners didn’t seem to mind. I ordered a Thai tea, and it was perfect! Some places make it too sweet, but this one was perfectly balanced. I had an order of the fresh spring rolls and the thai chicken wings. The fresh spring rolls were very good and came with a different sauce other than the peanut sauce, but it was still great. The Thai chicken wings had a great seasoning, and I was licking them off the bone! For my entrée, I, of course, had to try the pad thai. The dinner portion was HUGE, and I definitely only had less than half of it, so it is definitely a shareable plate. The prices were reasonable, and I can’t wait to go back when I’m having my Thai food craving again!

You could drive right by this place, but don’t. The people are super friendly. The food was great. It was cooked by a little old lady. Little old ladies know all the cooking secrets. Our food was very good. The only knock on the food was the mango a sweet sticky rice. The mango wasn’t ripe and the rice taste a little off. I enjoyed it, but my Viet gf wasn’t a fan. Outside of that it was really good.

Great customer service. Food is great here and Thai iced teas are made perfect. Prices are pretty decent. I like the fact that this location has the convenience of dining in, taking out, or delivering.

Got take away from here tonight and I was very happy. My husband hates Thai food but he is out of town so I thought it was a perfect excuse to order take away and watch movies. I ordered the Crispy Wontons and Pad Kapau. The wontons were delicious! Perfectly crispy and the filling had lots of flavor. There isn’t much filling in them but if there was any more filling the wontons would burn before the filling was able to cook so I get it. The sauce wasn’t what I had expected from a sweet and sour sauce(it was very thin) but it was good, just a tad sweeter than I am used to. I ordered the Pad Kapau to be a level 3 on the heat scale. I’m someone who loves spicy but since I had never been here before I wanted to gauge their spice scale. Thank goodness I didn’t get anything spicier because a 3 was already lighting my mouth on fire. I could hardly eat it, but I added a little brown sugar and it was delicious. The flavor was good and the meat and veggies were cooked perfectly. Next time I will try a 2 and see how that is on the heat scale. Overall, very delicious and I will be back!

I have enjoyed a couple of meals here now and find myself looking forward to my next trip. On this last visit some co-workers and I went on a Saturday afternoon and virtually had the place to ourselves. We took our seats in the dining room and grabbed the menus. Skipping apps we went right to ordering our entrée’s. My co-worker Dave ordered Tom Ka Gai which is a coconut lemongrass soup with chicken(or shrimp) and lemon leaves, galanga, onions, cilantro, tomatoes, mushrooms, lime juice, chili peppers and for his entrée Chicken Pad Thai with a heat level of 3. For my entrée I ordered Kai Saparot which is a mixture of sliced pieces of chicken breast and fresh shrimp sautéed in brown sauce with cashew nuts, pineapple, snow peas, carrots, onions, mushrooms and bamboo shoot. I also chose a #3 level of heat. It was perfect. Service was excellent and the older lady that was bringing our food to the table and taking care of our drinks was actually quite the character and very funny. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some Thai in the Greenbrier area.

I was dining there for lunch. The prices were reasonable but the food was outstanding. Everyone I went with loved what they ordered, one guy even said he was going back for dinner.

The reason why there were no vegetables is because the waitress ordered the wrong dish. We ordered the Masman and got Panang.
