Thai 99

This was probably one of the best meal experiences I’ve ever had. Food was fresh, customer service was excellent, fast, not pricy at all, food portions are legit. What an excellent lunch.

Firstly the owner is great. So friendly, welcoming and happy.. .and a talker. Lol
The food was fresh and very good. Had the Panang Curry and an order of dumplings. Perfect heat to the curry. I love red peppers in mine but oh well they only served green with broccoli and carrots. Still very good.
Owner gave me the crash course of her map of Thailand. Very cool.

My wife and I found this location by accident and we are so happy we did. The food is absolutely wonderful and so so fresh. The owner is very attentive and always looking for feedback. I look forward to visiting again, in the near future.
The homemade dumplings and Pad Thai are exquisite.
The Thai coffee is so rich and flavorful.

I had an early dinner here on a weekday. The owner and wait staff were very welcoming and attentive. I attempt to try vegetarian Pad Thai with tofu everywhere I travel and this trip to Chesapeake was no exception. The Pad Thai was above average and was a large plate. It could have, however, used more peanuts. I enjoyed a Singha as well.
One odd thing, the décor was acceptable but nothing special, there were, however, numerous 8 ½×11 signs throughout the restaurant stating various things about using the restroom and credit card minimums. This took away from any attempts at ambiance.

Amazing! Staff is nice, food is slammin’ and the price is right. I’d like to sit here and type more about it but I’m stuffed and not feeling it. I will surely eat hear again!

We haven’t been to this restaurant in a few years… It wasn’t impressive the last visit (BUT) Under new Management caught my eye. It was a pleasure to meet «Mel» the new owner, very friendly and accommodating. Now the Food… simply Awesome! I’ve eaten in every Thai restaurant in HRDS and Thai 99 just blew me away. I’ve found my new «go to» here in Chesapeake. The chicken & basal with jasmine rice was impeccable. My partner had the Pad Thai and agree’s it was simple the best he’s ever had. Fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. If you like hot & spicy ask for Mel’s special hot pepper sauce… omg, delish !!
We’ll be back Mel !!,.Your friendly hospitality is very much appreciated. Oh… and the fried banana desert was delish !!!
