I do/did like the massages that were offered there. I did go back for an additional appt since it is so close to where I live. It is best to just avoid this place altogether. I had severe back pain and went there to try and help it the other day. The heavy set lady at the front door who I am no fan of continued to be unpleasant towards me. I told her about my severe back pain and she said they only had 1 girl that afternoon and she was a deep tissue therapist. I said it did not matter just as long as my pain was taken care of. My last appt there the deep tissue massage was excellent. This time though, the deep tissue massage WHICH I PAIDEXTRAFOR was non-existent. It was all Swedish massage. I kept waiting and waiting and waiting for it. I asked the thereapist to apply more pressure and it was as if she had no interest in my well-being. I paid for a deep tissue and received a swedish massage — if you can even call it that. The bigger issue was the pain was still there. I would now not in any way recommend this place. They say one thing and give you another. From the albatross at the front desk to the therapist, it’s the proverbial bait-and-switch.

Went here yesterday for a Couple’s Valentine’s Day Massage. The two stars are for the masseuses who were great. However, our reservation was for 3:45, and we arrived at 3:30 to fill out paperwork. We filled out the page of paperwork by 3:35, and were not spoken to by any of the FOUR women behind the front desk again, except for one who glanced over and said«They’ll be out shortly» at 3:50. Our masseuses did not come out to greet us at the entrance until 3:55. As my boyfriend and I were following the masseuses in to the hallway before the massage started, I heard a women at the front desk say to my boyfriend’s masseuse, «Yes, 4:45,» and then I heard another woman behind the desk say«Aw, I feel bad.» I had a feeling they were talking about us since no one else was in the waiting area. Sure enough, our massage did not start until just after 4, but still concluded at 4:45. At no point did anyone say anything to us about cutting our time short, they just hoped we would not say anything, which is just tacky. I could understand concluding our massage at 4:45 regardless of the start time if WE had been late, but we arrived 15 minutes early like we were supposed to. To cut a paying customer’s time short, especially with a two-weeks-in-advance reservation, as a result of your poor time management is incredibly unprofessional, and made the entire experience feel cheap. Will not be returning, and I am definitely sharing my experience with friends and family. For the same price I can go to Massage Envy or Natural Elements, where I am guaranteed great service every time. Save your money. There are a lot of places where service is not that big of a deal in comparison to the deal you’re getting, but a «spa» is not one of those places.
