Chanello’s Pizza

I haven’t had this in a while so got a craving for them. I hear what people say they don’t have good food. The quality could be better but hey every trip isn’t going to be what you think.
Tonight it’s a small cheesy bread and a half-​dozen mild wings. Gonna stop by Micky D’s for a drink. Then i’m headed home. I’ll update in the future about this place. :)

I don’t typically give reviews on fast food like places but the customer service there at this loacation is amazing. I have been to other Channelos but this location is the best by far. Good food. Good prices. The employees care about the customers and the customer service is great.

I ordered online and was pleasantly surprised when my order was delivered 15 minutes earlier than the website said it would be. The garlic knots were fabulous. They were soft inside, but not doughy. There was enough butter, but not greasy. Our large pineapple pizza was tasty, as well. My hubby and daughter enjoyed the dozen mild wings they shared. I will definitely order from here again.

This place has pretty good pizza for Ohio, in regards to the style of the pizza, but for the area which it actually serves, Virginia, it’s actually a great pizza simply because no one else makes pizza like it in the area. The thin crust, cracker like, the sweet sauce and the decent amount of cheese and fresh toppings make it really a nice change of pace from all the thick crust and New York style pizzas. Their subs are actually fantastic and I’d highly recommend the U.S.S. Norfolk. Not only does it have a great name but it’s a unique sub that I’ve not found anywhere else. Channello’s does deliver but in the area I stayed at I had difficulty getting them to deliver to my hotel so make sure to call ahead to find out if they’ll deliver to your area.
P. S. I’d highly recommend their supreme pizza with extra cheese and of course the USS Norfolk!

I eat Chanellos about once or twice a month and this place is great. Very friendly in the store and for delivery. They are fast and the food gets to the house very hot. They have yet to get an order wrong like many other places do. My kids eat more of this place than any other and that says a lot. The food is great and always tastes great. I especially love their garlic butter.

No where to sit and $ 8 for a mini sub.
Meatballs had little flavor. I’ll pass next time

If Unilocal had half stars, this would be 2.5.
I was in town for the holiday… and this was one of the only places open during the snow storm of 2010.
I was hoping it would be pretty good… but it was just eh, plain. filled the void. ive had worse, and ive had better.
good service, though counter person was kind of rude and short, as was delivery person.
hahah. you Virginians… who complains about driving in th snow in a big olé pick up truck. hahah!

So I just moved to the Chesapeake area — movers show up, unloading boxes and furniture… and we’re starving. So, I quickly look up on Unilocal and find this place. I chose it simply based on: they’re close, they have a website to order from and they deliver.
Website is pretty nice interface (was using it on the ipad), although i found it a bit annoying that the discount for 2 large pizzas was only available if you select that option, rather than discounting it in the cart. Oh well. I selected 30 minute (ASAP) delivery time.
Guy shows up in about 20, granted we’re pretty close but I’m used to them being late so that was nice. 3 large (14″) pizzas plus a 2-​liter of pepsi for about $ 45, not too shabby.
I ordered the white pizza without green peppers or sausage. I could smell the garlic as soon as he delivered, big chunks of it, awesome. Pizza was pretty good, although I’m not a huge fan of crust so I think I’ll go with the thin crust next time, maybe add some chicken and olives. I liked that it came with ranch dip for the pizzas, nice touch.
My fiancé ordered the Everything but Anchovies… there was a lot of toppings on that one, but since I’m not a fan of mushrooms I didnt have more than a bite of it.
Even though we were starving we only ate 2 pieces each! Very filling.
Pizza is even better the next day, slightly nuked or cold from the fridge. Yum.
I think we’ll be back…

great pizza. great price. You can’t beat a hot, large pizza for only $ 6.99. The pizza is always perfect. Never had a bad one.

My number one delivery/​take-​out pizzas in Chesapeake, VA. I order the pizzas from them twice weekly, because I cannot have enough of their perfect pizza crusts with the ranch dips and the Supreme pizzas. I am praying to see the day they finally open a new location in Austin, Texas.
The delivery is VERY SPEEDY. FOR CHEAP!
