What on earth just happened??? I asked for rosemary Parmesan bread, he gets it out, so far so good. I ask for Italian beef… He points to the board and asks which sandwhich I want… I say«No, I’m doing a build-it-yourself»… He continued to point at the list of pre-make sandwich choices… I say«I just want beef and put some mushrooms on it and we go from here… It’s a build-it-yourself.» Still the guy wants me to select something from the board so i say«okay let’s do the Italian… But i only want beef and no pepperoni and all that other stuff». He would just not understand… What is so hard? How is this hard to make a sandwich!?! A SANDWICH!!! There is no specific formula that needs to be followed. It’s a SANDWICH!!! You SIMPLY make it!!! I just walked out.

First I will comment on the food and then on the poor experience we had when visiting this location. We got the italian and turkey club. The sandwiches weren’t the worst in the world but also not the best. Both lacked flavor and I was a little bummed we didn’t add some more condiments to them… since the employee who made the sandwich was obviously not interested in us staying around any longer and closed the sandwiches before we had a chance to. We walked in pretty late and knew that it was cutting it close so we made sure to inquire with the employee if that was ok and that we would be fine leaving if he needed to focus on closing. He continued to say it was fine. We tried to make conversation with him, even tried to get him to smile, but what we were met with was silence and frowns. By the time we got to the register his displeasure in serving us was thick. We asked if he was an employee or an owner. To which he stated he was an owner. Shocked we then commented on how surprised we were with such a poor attitude for being an owner– instead of answering he stayed silent and wouldn’t even make eye contact… it was like we didn’t even exist to him. Not even one word? Shocking that an owner would drive business away like that but maybe he is no longer invested in it. Definitely will not be returning to this location.

Their sandwiches keep on getting worse and worse. Not to mention that I really miss their old bread. Their sandwiches have to much condiments(mayonnaise, mustard, etc.) due to the bottles with multiple tips that they come out of. Just yuck.

My sandwich was mmmmm… toasty, but our dining experience was ummmmm… cold. Wifey and I went to this Quiznos for the first time tonight. We’ve always had great receptions and wonderful conversations with the staff and owners of other locations, but tonight was different. We walked in an hour before closing and were met with little enthusiasm(borderline indifference). We figured he must be tired, so we ordered with a smile. My wife couldn’t decide on her bread of choice which seemed met with some impatience on the crew member’s part. After my sandwich had been toasted, the gentleman proceeded to close the sandwich without asking if I wanted any cold toppings included. I had to ask him if I could have pickle, olives, and jalapeños. He looked of at me like I was nuts. I apologized for not mentioning it beforehand, but I didn’t even think about adding them until after the sandwich was cooked. Wifey was excited about the new Lobster & Seafood sandwich, but was disappointed after eating. She said it had no flavor and felt the need to add horseradish to get some. My Mesquite Chicken was really good, though. We hope our next experience is better — that’s why we will probably return to the other, friendlier locations…
