Absolutely authentic and delicious Mexican food, friendly service and very reasonably priced. I have been going to this place for a few years now since it opened and I have never had a bad meal here. Their tacos are awesome, full of meat, super-fresh tortillas, lots of choices of fillings and great sauces to top your tacos. My favorite is the carnitas. The combo that comes with tacos and soup is great, with a delicious broth-type soup. They also have tortas, burritos and a huge variety of other foods, so if you can’t find something to order here, you’re not hungry! Everything I’ve tried here over many visits has always been hot and delicious. If you want authentic Mexican food, you won’t find a better place than this. The breakfast burritos as fantastic as well, and the sandwiches(tortas) are the best around. Not Mexican food exactly, but even the French fries are hot and delicious. This place is always our first choice when we want authentic Mexican food, not overpriced gloppy beans and rice. The place is small and humble, with only about 9 – 10 tables, and when it gets really busy it can be a little wait for a seat. Completely worth it, but probably not best for a big group. Service is order at the counter and then they bring your food out.

Food is good, but all in menu is expensive compared with other mexican restaurants. I recommend BIG Quesadillas.

Alright! I’ve heard people say eating something was a life changing experience but I personally never felt that, until I tried the traditional Chicken Tortas at this place. I don’t mean to sound like a judge on food network, but everything in the sandwich was serving a purpose. Well cooked, delicious pieces of Chicken, pickled onions, avocado, OMG the bun! Its was warm and super soft and fresh, I loved every bit of this sandwich. It was so amazing, I prayed for a miracle, I prayed that the sandwich is never over, and I don’t ever have to get out of my house to order another one of these masterpieces, but unfortunately it did. Believe me it’s hard, but I’m limiting myself to one Tortas a week. Try it, you’ll never go wrong!

The tortas are delicious! With some great tasting horchata and consome. if your coming during lunch hours order ahead to go(if your in a hurry) it does get very busy during that time but even then the staff does a great job getting to everybody and being attentive.

Aca las Tortas is yet another establishment that proves that the best Mexican food in the Seattle area is not in Seattle proper. I’d been wanting to check this place out for some time after discovering it on Unilocal, and finally decided to make the journey when I found myself on the east side on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant is in a strip mall just off the highway, and there is ample parking. At 4PM on a Saturday – not exactly a conventional mealtime – this place was packed. We got one of the last free tables. Everything on the menu looked appetizing, especially when you put a name to everything other customers were happily devouring. I stayed true to my mission and chose to get a pastor torta. My choice was worth it, because it was a pretty darn delicious torta. I especially liked that the bread wasn’t one of those butter rolls that get soggy in 30 seconds. Combine that with the succulent pork, pineapple, cheese and avocado, and you can see why I wolfed it down in record time. Prices are very fair, service is friendly, and there’s always a soccer game playing on the TV. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s still hard to accept that one of the best torta places in the Seattle area is all the way up in Bothell. Aca las Tortas has a huge range of delicious sandwiches and burritos big enough for any appetite. Their prices are very fair you can walk out with a torta big enough for 2(ok one and a half) meals, fires and a horchata for around $ 11.(Pro tip it’s actually cheaper to make a torta a combo than it is to order a torta + fries or a torta + drink) The service here is friendly but curt and they usually have a line out the door by 12 so get here early especially on Friday.

I was very excited to try Aca las Tortas because a co-worker was raving about all day so after looking up the pics I was pumped to try it. I ordered shredded beef flautas and an order of chips and salsa. My roommate had a barbacoa burrito. The flautas come as an order of 3 which is very large. They come with shredded lettuce, crema and tomatoes on top along with a spicy salsa verde. Overall I found them to by very salty. All of the food was overly salty for my tastes. The salsa for the chips and salsa was a salsa verde which was good but too much cilantro. I would order from Aca las Tortas again because the menu was large and I would like to try other items but overall I cannot say I am overly impressed. Still seeking that great Mexican restaurant in the Bothell/Lynnwood area.

My boyfriend & I try wanted to make a ‘Tacos Tuesday’ happen a few weeks ago. So I went on Unilocal and found this place.(It’s somewhat hidden in a strip mall on Bothell-Everett Hwy) When I went inside, I couldn’t contain my excitement. I came in wanting tacos but EVERYTHING(on the menu) looked SO good. There are tacos, burritos, tortas, sandwiches, etc. But I stuck with getting tacos– which I did not regret at all. I got the fish, asada(beef) and adobada(spicy pork) tacos. Midway into my meal, I had to order a coke(long glass bottle) because the adobada was pretty spicy for my standards(I have a low tolerance on spice, haha). The food was SO good. My boyfriend ordered 3 tacos initially, but ordered 3 more to go before we left. The space was cozy– lots of tables open when I arrived. On one wall was the menu, and the opposite side was filled with futbol/soccer related art & jerseys. There was even an international futbol game on. The customer service was good. The lady who helped me was very sweet. When I had asked for the coke, she said I can pay later after I’m done eating because I think she knew I needed it for the spicy tacos, haha. I’m definitely coming back for the other items on the menu :)

We found this place while traveling through… we eat a lot of Mexican, and have traveled to Mexico many times… the spicy shredded pork taco was amazing! As were the steak tacos! The guacamole… the green chile chicken enchiladas… and the salsa verde was honestly the best salsa I’ve ever had! Plus our server was very attentive… he got a huge tip. We were shocked at our low bill… this place is an incredible value and though we are only here two more days we plan to go again! Authentic Mexican at its best!

If I could give this place 3.5 stars I would, but they don’t quite deserve a 4. I agree with some of the other Unilocalers, the fish tacos here are basically fish sticks and probably not worth getting, but the other meats I tried were quite good. The asada had a nice crust on it and decent flavor and the chorizo was incredibly crispy on the outside and flavorful. Their salsas are also really nice and have great heat. My wife is an avid capsaicin fan and some of the salsa they had(the yellow one in particular) was right up her alley. The tortillas are interesting and have a strong wet corn/masa flavor, sort of like tamales. They’re not my favorite tortillas, but they were really interesting. It’s slightly above average Mexican fast food for a great price and I’ll definitely be back, but I’m in no rush.

First time here and been looking for great tacos in the area. Had the trio tacos asada, adobada, and carnitas + consome(soup) combo. It was delicious! Definitely come back and try their burrito. Staff were friendly as well.

Good were the beef consommé and the cactus and flower quesadillas. However the fish taco was a fish stick, the potato taco was just mash and the mushroom taco was a bland gray mass. My friend’s beef was burned. The place has charm and is frequented by Mexican locals. But overall I found the experience less than average.

The place to go if you want authentic mexican food(coming from a mexican ;)) The flautas are huge and the barbacoa is always moist. Pambazos are as original as they can get. Everything I have tried here is very flavorful. Only set back is the place is rather small, very few tables and not the most wonderful ambiance, so this is a place that you go to eat, not to be impressed by the décor. My advise is to go early on the weekends.

Im mexican, just moved to WA a few weeks ago. The place is great ! This is the type of food you would get if you were in Mexico City any given Tuesday. I’ve only been here once but the huarache and the quesadilla de Flor de Calabaza were great. I will certainly be back !

Heck yeah! These are the tastiest sandwich type items from sort of south of the border ever. I used to eat here every day when I worked nearby. Yum! Lots of choices. Nice people. Lots of soccer fans.

Phenomenal! As a mexican food fan and a massive soccer fan this place was basically designed just for me :) Once you enter all the walls are decorated with Mexican and La Liga players pictures and really cool World Cup pictures/art work. They seem to always have a soccer game on TV as well. The Torta sandwiches were so incredibly tasty and they are also, what do you know, named after different teams and players! I got the Monterrey, as much as I hate to order it as an MLS supporter. It was delicious and the salsas that came with it were very tasty. The horchata was also very good! Only downfall I had was the service did take a bit long to bring the food but that wasn’t enough to destroy my awesome experience! MUSTTRY for any mexican food and/or fubtol fan!
