Compared to other locations, the subs from this store are very thin or small. This place almost has a monopoly, and it is taking advantages of students who cannot easily go elsewhere due to the lack of parking at UWB. BRINGYOUROWNFOODIFYOUCAN.

I wanted to post a review since I have always had mediocre experiences at subway especially this location in the past that is what makes the other day so exceptional. I went in with my husband on last Saturday we happened to have a severe windstorm in the area this day and almost everywhere was out of power but this subway had power so there was a crazy line and only one girl working. I didn’t catch her name but she was friendly and greeted everyone as they walked in the door. She was fast as could be expected and calm under the obvious stress of having a line of 10 – 15 people and being by herself with stressed out customers. I wish I had asked her name because good customer service is so hard to find these days but her personality and attitude is worth calling out because so many other staff in that store and other fast food places in the area are completely incompetent.

Today I walked in and one girl was working. Patiently waited while she helped a customer and then ordered my sandwich. As she started to make the sandwich another customer came in and the girl told me that I needed to wait while she also helped her. The second customer ordered three sandwiches and sat there while she literally took 10 seconds to put a piece of ham on the other customer’s sandwich. At that rate it would’ve taken 10 minutes to get my sandwich… needless to say I left… what a terrible experience.

This store used to be amazing. But when Melissa stopped managing, the store went downhill. Melissa had always made coming to get a sandwich more than just that, she made it an experience. She genuinely cared about her customers. So did Jennifer and Breanna. Always asking how I’m doing, carrying on a conversation while making my sandwich. But the new manager just seems to want to get the sandwiches made and doesn’t care how the customers feel and cant even make a sandwich very quickly. The employees are even unhappy without Melissa, and Breanna went so far as to leave, herself. Jennifer has even hinted at looking for a new job, and honestly, I can’t blame her. Product is never consistent anymore. Half the time it looks fresh, and the other, it looks old, like no one rotates it. It doesn’t even taste the same as it used to, for this reason. You won’t catch me back here, again. I’ll go to Jimmy John’s across the street. Edit: forgot to mention to NEVER get chopped salads here, anymore. They taste like chemicals. No bueno!

Per my hubby who went here, but didn’t get a chance to order anything since while waiting for 2 customers in front of him to order, he told me he walked out… due to the bitchy server who wasn’t friendly nor accommodating. He said she was pretty rude to the customers and it felt like she was being«bothered» to make a sandwich. From the other reviews, for a franchise, I’m surprised this place won’t participate in the $ 5 foot long promotions. I don’t normally eat at Subway, but my husband likes it once in a while… So on top of not doing any promotions, this place has an employee who is unprofessional.

The staff was rude. Showing no concern of customers. I don’t go to Subway regularly, so after she burned the mini pizza, I politely asked her to change to a new one, I saw her rolled her eyes and I heard a big sigh. Who would want to pay for a burn pizza? How hard it is to make a new one? I am not going back there anymore. She definitely not happy with her job. She gives Subway a bad reputation.

Very«Hit or Miss» when you walk into this place. It’s the closest Subway to my house and visit here 3 or 4 times a week over the past year. All the employees are very courteous and professional except for one employee who is always in a bad mood. I don’t understand it, it’s so blatantly obvious that it becomes very uncomfortable ordering and pisses me off. This is the only issue I’ve had with the staff and service. The biggest pain in the neck about this place(and I’m sure the employees would agree) are customers from the local Industrial Business Complex’s around the corner. There might only be two people in front of you, but each of them are ordering 6 – 10 unique sandwiches to bring to their lunch meetings and whatnot. Some of them are just as picky as Starbucks patrons who modify every single thing about their order. «Cut each sandwich 25/75, toast for 5 seconds longer, 1.5x bacon.» WTF? Just eat a normal damn sandwich for once! Most of them are very short tempered when they order, I feel bad for the employees.

Note: This place does not participate in the $ 5 foot long promotion or take coupons. I ate here a few days ago and was very pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of the sandwich. My sandwich technician was a very pleasant young lady with red hair(didn’t catch her name) but she was very friendly and helpful. The place was spotless and had a surprisingly large dining area. Something remember in the evenings and on weekends when I’m running around and it’s pouring and I don’t want to eat in my car. I had a roast chicken foot long with lots of veggies. The chicken portion is premeasured so you’ll always get the same regardless of which Subway you go to. Everything was fresh and I received a very good portion of the veggies(even jalapenos) that I ordered. I picked up a BMT for my wife and it was also made well. The meat portion was a little light though and again I think this is going to be a problem at most Subways given their material costs and all of their discounting promotions. You can order extra meat at $ 3.00 for a foot long and $ 1.50 for a six inch, I didn’t think it was worth it. The downside of this place are the prices. Subways best effort isn’t as good as a well made Quiznos sub in terms of quality or quantity of food, yet they are charging nearly 8.00 for a foot long. On the upside I think they give you a little more than other Subways. Any more and you are in the ball park with Jimmy Johns and their quality is dramatically better than either Subway or Quiznos. Jersey Mike’s is better than all but they also cost significantly more. So for variety and price and availability(they are on nearly every corner with a Starbucks), Subway is hard to beat.

I was cravying a nice Subway, but usually do not go because they are so expensive. Wanting to take advantage of Anytober $ 5 foot long, I went in and placed my order at whcih point they informed me they do not participate in the national promotion. I left empty handed and will not frequent this store again.

This is an OK establishment. The layout feels ass-backwards, but then again, I don;t come here for the ambiance. The service is quick, and I have yet to find bits of someone else’s order mixed into mine. It accomplishes its goal of supplying food between slices of bread… who could ask for more.

$ 5 footlong month? Not here! Sandwich of the month? Nope! Of course you can never know that until you show up here. This isn’t a special subway in an airport or disneyland. Its a strip mall in Bothell, people. They are also more expensive than other subways around and skimp on toppings unless you ask twice for more and more. Boo on the owners for being cheap!

The quick and dirty(literally): –Food is kinda fresh –Store is dirty — tables, surfaces, and bathroom –Staff is RUDE, lazy, show no pride in their work(Drake, I’m looking at you) –Stingy on the toppings –Open later than most, so that’s kinda good. Honestly, you’re better off going to qfc or 7 – 11 across the way.

Unless you really put the pressure on, you end up with some shredded lettuce and 4 olive slices on some bread. I hate subways that skimp on veggies! Also, they are more expensive than other Subways around Bothell. 3 stars, because they are open a little later and its clean.
