If I could give it negative stars I would. Ordered my food at 3:12pm and got it at 3:26pm. All I ordered was two large drinks and zucchini fries. It’s fast food!

I just spent 25 minutes in the drive thru for a large diet and side of fries. When I finally got up to the window, I fully expected to see a skeleton smiling at me. Terrible.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The pic someone posted on here with the trash under the tables was just the tip of the iceberg. Every table was trashed and there was food on every inch of the floor. The employees were joking and laughing amongst one another behind the counter while our order was taken so I don’t understand why someone couldn’t go clean some tables and empty overflowed trash cans. While we were there another couple complained about the mess to what looked like the manager. And even after he was made aware of the mess NOBODY CLEANED A SINGLE TABLE for the 20 minutes we were there. This place is GARBAGE.

Worst fast food place in big bear! 1. The staff is rude and look like they our on drugs. 2. It ant fast food when it 1 hour to get ur food or to even get ur order taken. 3 do they ever need to learn how to clean cuz this place is the most dirty Carl’s Jr I’ve ever seen!

If you are craving fast food, keep driving! This place ain’t fast! The drive though wasn’t moving and my ingenious boyfriend figured walking in should be faster… NOT!

In the drive-​through 15 minutes and counting still two cars ahead of me. Don’t know if they’re shortstaffed or what, but avoid this place On busy weekend mornings-McDonald’s is a better choice.

Food quality is okay, but ordering it is a different story. The workers are all rude teens, They mess around, they are tarrible at cleaning up, and you always see them screwing around. The drive through is always backed up. I understand the busy weekend, but on regular weekdays theres no reason for waiting 30 minutes for a burger! The manager Katlyn doesn’t work there anymore. She was a good worker! Always fixed our issues! She probably realized she was better than this mess of a place! Honestly the management needs to stop hiring rude teenagers! 1 star is for the service… the food is great… well it depends on the place you go. Big bears carls is tarrible!

Worst wait ever! 30 minute drive thru wait. All natural burger combo and a bean and cheese burrito.

The last two visits have been terrible. .for years we always stop here on our way to summit and recently their drive thru has been a total fail. Not only does the attendant not understand half of what you’re saying, but it takes no less than 20 minutes (yep, the last to consecutive visits) from the order to the pick up window… and even then we had to knock on the window to get their attention! The food was Luke warm when we got it so who knows what the issue is. We’re going to find a new breakfast stop.

This is the worst Carl’s Jr. I have ever stepped foot in! Its very apparent that even flipping burgers is a difficult task for these morons. I believe there is not a single employee in the place with a functioning brain! I wouldn’t even give them one star but had to give one so I could even rate this horrible place. You will be so bummed if You even set foot on the property its that bad! Off for a tetanus shot and some real food made by people that can listen and read like an adult.

I was looking for some fast food on the go so decided to go to carls jr drive through… i am a local and havnt been in a while, now i remember why. I ordered a simple superstar burger and it took 20 minutes from the time i ordered to the time it came out the window. They dont care about Drive thru here, they will make you wait as long as they please even WHEN THERE IS NOBODY AROUND. This place needs new management. Food quality is well, its burgers, not bad, service is pathetic.

A good quick pit stop for breakfast before heading to the slopes. This location is very clean and I was pleasantly surprised to see someone bring us our food to the table. Great service for a fast food restaurant!

The time that I spent at this location was the worst part of my trip to Big Bear. These staff members were incoherent. They messed up my order several times and even fought with me when I asked them to give me a cup that they missed. In reality this place was horrid. They need to clean up! This place was a bad place if not the worst place in big bear. I really wish there was a negative star.

Service is sux!!! We waited for our orders for over 29 mins plm is I saw manger gave out our food to wrong number and saw manger hide the number ticket 46 manger didnt bother to talk to us keep avoiding us for 15 min + and end up hiding behind cook area didnt came bk out and other lady skinny one w glasses she covering mangers plms also I am deaf dont hear the number and didnt bother refund nor any positive way which is hurt me

3 patrons in the restaurant besides us. Food all over the floor, trash receptacles over flowing. Our order was incorrect after two tries, ugh…

Customer service sucks…
I ordered the Texas BBQ combo meal today like I have several times before, but I went inside today. They have posters on all the table that if you order one you get a free Oreo ice-​cream. Plus, they always gave me the onion and Jalapeño pieces with the combo. Today I got French fries, when I questioned it I was told that you only get the other if you ask? Plus, I only ordered a double meat so I don’t qualify for the ice-​cream…
Really? I didn’t really want the ice-​cream but it was the point, the posters didn’t specify the size, unless its in the itty bitty print no one can read. Second, if I have to ask for the special onion and Jalapeño that they advertise with the burger, that came out with the burger in their advertisements, maybe they should have asked me if that is what I wanted…
Anyway I felt like they could careless and looked at me like I’m an idiot. A simple apology for the misunderstanding, would have been nice.
I left without even finishing my food because they upset me.
9÷7÷2014 went through the drive thru. The board you order from clearly states a free Oreo ice-​cream with any purchase of the Texas BBQ combo. Plus, it says it comes with the onion/​jalapeño fries.
Never going back to this location…

Drive through super slow. Drive through menu is located beyond the order speaker, it was impossible to see the selection.

Im giving 4 stars purely based on customer service. My husband and i sat in drive through behind 3 cars, to get 2 xl diet cokes. We ordered, finally got to the window and paid, drove off… tasted the soda, it wasnt diet! Drove back… sat behind one car on the drive through, explained the issue and pulled up to the window. The csshier then asks us to pull forward to the front of the building and wait? WHY? How hard is it to exchange a soda? Is he going to spit in it? I decided to go inside, and I tell another cashier that i just want my money back. The manager over hears my issue, comes right over, apologises for my inconvenience, refunds me AND gives me two new cups to fill with diet coke… she rocks! Turned an annoying experience into a very pleasant one. Not many places provide this kind of service, bravo.

Carl Jr.‘s food is what it is… However, pulling into the parking lot it the upgrades to this location was obvious… new landscaping, new blacktop and as we walked in we were greeted like we were long lost friends and they were happy as could possibly be that we were there. The customer service continued with every employee with whom we came into contact. One employee came by our table 3 times to ask if everything was ok and/​or to see if she could get us anything. The place was cleaner than I’ve ever seen it, tables were cleaned, condiments lined up and unused chairs all in a row.
5 Stars for the improvements in the location and especially for the customer service skills of the employees. The change was VERY noticeable… NICE JOB to whoever is responsible.
