My Mother has complicated eye problems with rapidly failing eyesight. Our entire family has been going here for years, and their selection and personalized customer service are OUTSTANDING. I have never been disappointed, and continue to use them for all members of my family!

I stopped in a few weeks ago to get my glasses adjusted and to look around to possibly fill the new Rx I had just received. The store was empty – no customers. Well, I was told that since I had not purchased my glasses there they couldn’t adjust them. I had purchased the glasses I was wearing at a store near my office in downtown D.C. I have never been told that an optical shop would not fix my glasses if I had not purchased them there.
After this happened, I remembered that several years ago i stopped in at MacPherson when my son was younger and had his glasses knocked off during a basketball game and they charged me for the adjustment – no new parts, just to move the bent frames around. I guess that’s what they mean when they advertise their «personalized» service. I will never stop again.
