Serious health code violations. Tables all filled with people bringing in food from Ralph’s and Juice it. Tables covered in cream cheese with bugs crawling all over. Avoid this location.

Fast service, super friendly and they manage the morning rush really well.

I’m not a bagel person but I like their Spaetzle Soup, it’s like a chicken noodle with bites of bagels in it. Also I don’t understand why they close at 3 and send everyone to starbux or other places to overcharge them. But when it comes for lunch it somehow works for me, I get either the soup or a half dozen bagels with cream cheese for the office, it’s a good snack for everybody. Their service is quick, I would say almost in a rush, but again, somehow I appreciate that they don’t waste my time in a short and busy lunch break.

Not only was the food great, the staff was the friendliest that I have ever encountered. Every person smiled and asked how you’re doing. They joked and laughed with the customers. Incredible service. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have their day brightened.

I have nothing to complain about. The food was good and it came out in a swift manner. Employees were friendly and the vibe was nice.

The restaurant atmosphere is very nice, but the bagels are mediocre. Not only that, I ordered a lox & bagel sandwich, and it was $ 8.63! I have been in here about 3 times in the past year, and each and every time the staff are very unfriendly and unwelcoming. They never smile or greet me. They never thanked me for my business. Number well

I used to love this place about 8 years ago… I don’t know what happened. But they never pick up the phone, the ladies who put the food together don’t listen that much so they mess up and than I have to have them make it over which I feel bad doing !! And the service is slowwwwwwwww

Their weekly ad in the OC Register for a free bagel and cream cheese with a beverage purchase brings me in all the time. I don’t know where else I can get a yummy filling breakfast for $ 2.15(plus I always tip them a buck). The bagels taste fresh and I enjoy their selection of different cream cheeses. Even when there is a long line, the staff is very hardworking and friendly and make the line move quickly. I’d rather come here than spend more time sitting around and more money at Bagels and Brew down the street. One of my regular spots.

This place has been around I believe before Aliso Viejo was even considered its own city. I will say it used to be better but it isn’t that bad now. Their tomato soup is really good, other than that their soups are usually very watery tasting(sometimes they arent) its kind of a hit or miss with this place. Theyre very expensive when it comes to buying cream cheese, orange juice and what not. Its always busy at this place for the most part. It cant be too bad :)

Bagel sandwich was delicious, the tables were a mess. Hint, you might want to tell your staff, if someone comes up and asked to get their table cleaned, they should clean it, not hand a rag to the customer. I was appalled when I saw that happen… TWICE!!!

Some people like a lot of cream cheese, and I do as well but this much is a bit much. Especially on a bagel thinner than a pancake. Another thing that bugged me was the workers all spoke Spanish loudly. However when the girl called me up I could barely hear her and she was talking in English. She was fast to do my order, but had a smile. Semi smile I suppose. I just don’t understand why is it so hard to speak English? is it really that difficult. To me personally it is rude, do it in the privacy of your own home, or out to dinner with your family but not when you are working in a professional environment. I will be back to try the egg bagel, but probably at the Yorba Linda location.

Really nice workers but I got a breakfast bagel, the same one I usually get at the irvine & newport location & and my girlfriend did as well, apparently the owner of this franchise is trying to become rich by giving people 1⁄100 of an egg that has been flattened by a train or other form of heavy machinery to make it look as wide as the bagel, it ends up coming out about as thin as plastic Saran Wrap & my girlfriend even asked the bagel maker«is there egg in here» the bagel maker opened the bagel and showed her the pathetic hundredth of an egg. Get it together

Decided to give this place a try and never again. The bagel was hard and when I was able to bite into it, it was very generic tasting. I could have just gone to Ralph’s and picked up a package there which tastes 10 times better. Barely any cream cheese, too. You can definitely tell that this is a chain. I felt like the staff were robots and showed no emotion. Not sure why, but it made me a bit uncomfortable. I’d rather spend a little bit more and go to Bagels & Brew. Plus, what type of bagel place doesn’t offer pizza bagels?!!

Came here on a Sunday morning. Assembly line setup. Ordered an egg and cheese and a salmon sandwich off the board. Egg and cheese is a weird pre-made rubbery concoction. Couldn’t hear what the sever was saying but I did get the feeling that she was talking smack about the abrasive old dude ordering next to me to her colleague. Have to shout to get bacon added to my egg and cheese since she was so eager to just get er done. She also messed up my order but it was early and I didn’t want to deal, so I just accepted my incorrect bagel. Made it down to cashier coffee delivery guy, paid and was promptly dismissed. Bagel was alright. Coffee was bleh. I will try again when they are not super busy, but for my first visit the customer service was pretty shotty.

Just came in here for a quick breakfast before class. I got a egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich on a rosemary olive oil bagel. Everything was so good, the bacon was undercooked by my preference and covered in strong pepper. After a few bites, I just peeled the bacon off, but the bagel was perfect consistency and flavorful. My friend had a cinnamon raisin with cream cheese. I tried the cream cheese, and boy, was it good! Not to mention the coffee! It was a strong and dark roast, without being too strong or burnt. The staff may not be overly friendly, but I didn’t find any of them to be rude. They keep everything moving quickly. I will definitely be returning!

As far as the bagels go they are pretty good. Not the best I’ve had, but I still come here because its close to my house and I never have had a complaint about the quality of the food. This place just has terrible customer service. The guy who usually does the cash register is cool but the people making the bagels act as if they’re being forced to work and hate everything about it. Also, if I take too long to make up you’re mind on what you want they seem to get irritated. Not a single smile will be seen in here. This place probably deserves two stars, but I got a paper bag in the mail a few months ago and was able to get free bagels with it so I guess it almost seemed like an apology for hiring such grumpy staff and I’m a forgiving person. I’ll still go here based on location and decent food. I recommend going here if you are just looking for some good bagels and don’t really care about anything else which is probably where I’m at.

I have been visiting here quite frequently and this time I was unfortunately served by Bivi. The place was busy and there were four staffs serving the customer. When I was received by Bivi there was this face like«what do you want?» No greetings. Then I asked a question if they served bagel with egg, cheese and sausage. For that she replied«on what kinda bagel?» There are plethora of bagel varieties and while deciding which one to chose she was getting impatient. Then after selecting a bagel she simply placed them on the toaster without even asking me if I would like the bagel to be toasted. Then she takes the toasted bagel, places egg, cheese and sausage and starts wrapping the bagel! I was like umm what about asking me if I would like to add anything else to the bagel!!! So I tell her I need some cheese spread and she is like that costs extra. So what if its extra? Can’t you at least give me the option whether to add the add-ons? There are so many options to chose and there was no explanation made and she kept standing as if I’m wasting her time. Very disappointing. Then she keeps asking me with an attitude«do you want anything else?» Terrible training or I don’t know if this is her attitude. Bivi was rude, unapologetic and loaded with attitude. I could have said I don’t want her crappy built bagel but I’m not harsh or can’t be rude in person. I do not want to have their business anymore if the manager is hiring staff with poor customer service skills. Not dining here anymore and advising the same to my friends.

It is an ok bagel place. We ended up here while visiting SoCal. We had actually tried to go to 3 other places we found on Unilocal, but couldn’t due to a marathon that was going on and had all of the roads closed. We were starving and finally found this place, so we went here for breakfast. It is your usual bagel joint. The food was ok, but nothing special. The prices seemed the normal bagel place rates. My husband did enjoy the coffee they had here. They even had coconut coffee, which was intriguing. So yeah, it was ok, but probably wouldn’t be my go to place, especially when we are on vacation and calories don’t count!

Another conveniently located establishment within the Aliso Viejo Town Center, which I often frequented while living in Aliso Viejo. One morning we decided to pick up breakfast from here since my husband had remembered seeing a bagel shop within the town center complex, so my daughter and I decided to try this establishment out. The workers didn’t say one word when we approached the counter and the gentleman just mumbled something barely audible along with a strong accent to top it off. Perfect. So I placed my order for a couple of bagel sandwiches and a plain toasted bagel with cream cheese to go. More quick mumbling, but that’s about it and I paid my bill. The bagel sandwiches were decent, nothing spectacular. I think I’d much rather make my own sandwiches at home than go to this chain and receive so-so service with no smile along with an unhappy stomach afterwards. I don’t know why I get the worst of luck with this chain. I think I have found another place to add to my «Never again» growing list on Unilocal
