As a vegetarian with a gluten allergy this place is amazing. I have come here several times and it has always been amazing. I love all the tea drinks that they offer and I REALLY love the breakfast. They have gluten free vegan pancakes, cinnamon rolls, everything! Also I have been here for diner and had the vegan gluten free mac and cheese and it is decadent! It’s weird to me that this place is listed under«burgers» because that is one of the last things I think of with this place– but regardless I had an amazing sandwich here as well so they do lunch and burgers and stuff– but honestly I think the breakfast and dinner are the highlights here!

Our experience at Hugo’s for lunch yesterday was beyond amazing. We were blown away by the seemingly endless menu options for those needing to eat gluten-free, dairy free, or Vegan as well as a huge menu for those without food allergies. My daughter’s gf HOUSEMADE pasta was incredible as well as the luscious cashew cream sauce(nondairy). My turkey burger was the best I’ve ever had. We couldn’t believe that we could choose almost anything off the menu and it had a gf option. This is not a place that simply offers some Udis bread and considers themselves gf friendly. They make their own pasta, cinnamon raisin bread, cinnamon rolls and many other menu items to make eating gluten free delicious. We feel lucky and blessed to have found this place with which has so much heart when creating their menu. I wish I knew our server’s name because he was as good as the incredible food. He was super friendly, efficient and made great menu suggestions, hence the excellent turkey burger choice. We can’t wait to try the Studio City location!

Been coming here forever. Food tastes amazing and is great quality. Honestly, the service at times is comically bad, with the exception of Chris(female) and Lauren, who are very good. So be sure to ask for either of them.

Really good vegetarian options. Salmon was grilled to perfection and side veggies were great. My son’s burger was average. Bar drinks were good, though high priced. Overall a good family location particularly with vegetarians on the team.

I absolutely love Hugo’s for their incredible vegan food. The flavor is on point! I celebrated my birthday there last night and our server Miles was amazing. I ordered a meal from their specials which was a plate full of deliciousness. Thank you for another wonderful experience as always.

The food is amazing!!! We have been twice(once breakfast and once lunch) each time everyone has enjoyed their food. A great place for vegetarians and non-vegetarians! We experienced excellent service. Our first waitress was great and helped me with my fries vs. roasted potatoes debate. The struggle is real lol. She was awesome! She did get get pulled away by a big party but the hostess stepped up to bring us our bill and bus our table. The second time we has another awesome waitress(a K or C name Carly? Katie?). Always super attentive and kind. I will be going back to this restaurant every time I visit the area.

Hugo’s is one of my new favorite restaurants by far! They have delicious food for every meal of the day and are incredibly accommodating to our vegan diet. I especially love coming here for breakfast — they even have vegan pancakes! I have yet to be disappointed by their food or their staff. If you go, request Ramon for your server — he is the best! So thoughtful and gracious and very attentive to our needs. Even if you can’t get Ramon, you should certainly still go to Hugo’s. :)

This breakfast/lunch place is a good find in Agoura Hills. I liken it to other similar places like the Broken Yolk(San Diego) and the The Mission(San Diego). I’d go back.

I never get tired of going to this place. Always so many good things to choose from it’s hard to pick. If I’m in the mood for vegan, got it. If not, there’s that too. Everything I’ve ever had has always been amazing! Love it!

Been coming here for years, whether it’s been the Studio City or Agoura Hills locations. This new, fat hostess is rude and inconsiderate. Other than that, love this place.

Today was my first visit to the Agoura Hills location, but I’ve been to the Studio City location a few times with friends for brunch and for dinner. My experience today at the Agoura location was for lunch. I went with 4 coworkers and they quickly seated our table of 5 after moving two tables together for us. We had in our group a vegan, two vegetarians, a meat lover, and I’m currently not eating any grains, refined sugars, or starchy vegetables. All of us were able to find multiple items on the menu we were interested in. All of us were very happy with our orders. The main reason I’m writing this review is that our service was excellent. The hostess was friendly, the waitress was a pro, our waters were refilled several times, and hot water for hot tea was also refiled. We were seated promptly, got our checks quickly, and our change quickly as well. I have had similar quality service at the Studio City location. I had the Power of Green salad(no dried cherries) which was spectacular. The vegan got the vegan sloppy joes. One vegetarian got the quinoa beet salad; the other got the asian stir fry. All three loved their dishes The carnivore got a burger and was impressed that they actually cooked it as he ordered it — rare. Overall, I’d definitely recommend and personally go back to Hugo’s, especially when dining with a crowd with diverse dietary requirements.

I usually go to the Studio City location but have had to come to this location 6 times now and EVERY single time, the service has been extremely slow. This time, after being seated, it took 15 minutes before we even met our server. After taking our water drink order, it took another 15 minutes for him to return with the water and take our food order. The food took 30 minutes to arrive. It wasn’t busy so I’m not sure what the problem is each time we’ve been there. I guess we’ll just have to keep going to the professionals in Studio City.

Excellent tasting quality food. I was surprised at how good my food was. I tried the BBQ turkey sandwich, with a side salad. I also tried my friends Mac and cheese. Everything was really good. The service was great, and the wait time was only 5 – 10 minutes for three people. I will definitely be back.

My new favorite health the food place! The Asian stirfry was spectacular. I’m on a 30 day healthy living program and I was easily able to order right off the menu without any modifications and the food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back and try to other things

The big problem here is the lack of a trained staff and management So after being seated we waited forever for a server to greet us at which time he took or drink order(2 lemonades) and didn’t retune for ten minutes at which time we gave him our good order We selected two of the four specials they offered One was no longer available(at 7pm) and the other was missing an ingredient Again another 15 minutes until a busser brought out our food As he was serving it he put his hand on my sand which I tell the server who should have immediately removed the sand which but asked if MEIF I WANTED a new one Then the manager? Cones over to apologize and offers a desert and a discount on our dinner Really. We decline and accept 2 lemonades which have been empty our entire meal And she never comes back with the lemonades We eventually had to go to hostess to get our check AVOIDTHISPLACE

We were going to go to Wood Ranch, but the wait was insane. We decided to go to Hugo’s instead. My boyfriend’s parents have already tried it and liked it. So we all decided to give it a shot because we were hungry. Environment was nice. It wasn’t crowded, but it definitely started to fill up a bit. Service was nice and fast. I ordered the Carbonara. It was really really good. Nice strong bacon/pancetta flavor. Got seated fast, waitress came around quickly, and the food came out quickly as well. I really liked the pasta. However, not many things on the menu really stood out to me. I feel like if I were to come back, I wouldn’t really be trying new things which is not something I’m a fan of. I do like how they have specials that rotate though. I’ll probably come back if there is nothing else, but I won’t go out of my way for it.

Feeling puzzled by the negative reviews. We’ve been there twice and enjoyed both experiences. The first time was close to five stars, and the second a solid four — so overall, 4.5 stars. Last visit was two Sundays ago. We’d been to the Regency Theaters with a friend and walked over to have dinner after the show. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Our server came promptly for the drink order. He was helpful in making suggestions and answering our questions about the menu. He seemed knowledgeable about the food options. DH had the turkey stew, which looked like a Mexican dish the way it was served. It was bursting with flavor. Very unique, and very savory. My friend and I went for comfort food for the entrée and gelato for dessert. Happy taste buds! The gentleman at the adjacent table ordered a sundae for his dessert. It could have fed five people. Wow! Am a fan of their design scheme, with the stacked stones turned water features in several parts of the restaurant. Very spa-like and soothing. Modern design done well! Contemporary doesn’t have to be stark. Plentiful portions equaled leftovers for lunch the next day. Freshly prepared food with healthy options abounding. We’ll be back.

I have been to this Hugo’s at least over 20 times. I have been a customer of this location since it opened up just a few years ago. If I am correct they have 3 locations. Out of all the locations this one has the most beautiful interior as it is decorated with plants, a water fall and just an overall modern look. The menu at all 3 locations are the same and it is absolutely amazing. I have tried things from their Hugos beef burger to their eggs Benedict. They are all delicious. I am a huge fan of breakfast and one of my favorite things is they serve breakfast till 3pm! Yes 3pm! Additionally, they have a smaller breakfast menu that is served all day. This restaurant also serves many gluten free and vegetarian dishes. Even gluten free pancakes! How awesome is that! The staff at all 3 locations have also been quite friendly. They serve to your requests promptly and get your order right the first time almost always. Especially this restaurant has a lot of customization options, so I am impressed with the fact that they get the order right almost always. Finally, I can not simply write this review without mentioning one of their desserts that I don’t know anyway to describe it except with the word«orgasmic.» The dessert is called sticky buns and they taste like churros… but not really. They taste like a French flan… but not really. They taste like… all of that somehow put together with a taste that will take you to a land far far away where it tastes so good you will forget about reality and all the stress in the world will be gone. «Sir! Sir!»(Then I woke up) «Oh…yes sorry. Ya the check, sure.»

You’ve gotta good product, Hugo’s however, your service is slipping. My expectations are that when dining out the food is well prepared and the service excellent, that’s why I eat out when I do. Tonight I came with my hubby, mother and brother. Shortly after we sat down a waitress asked for our drink orders. Not too long afterwards another server brought us a basket of bread… no plates… just bread. Then came the bread plates, brought by yet another server. When our meals arrived we played musical plates and directed yet another server where to rearrange them after they were placed incorrectly. Not a tough assignment, four people, four plates, someone couldn’t get it right. It’s little details like this that help make a restaurant excellent and Hugo’s, you got work to do.
