The Habit Burger Grill

Another great Habit location.
Though this one has been here for awhile, it is very bright, clean and well maintained with plenty of seating.
Service was excellent and our food came out quickly.
I loved my Santa Barbara cobb, sub ahi for chicken, great flavors, light but still filling and a very satisfying meal for a great price.
My husband got the salad with tri tip and enjoyed it as well, my son’s burger meal also very good, I really love their fries, perfectly crispy.
Great value for your money, fast food that won’t weigh you down the rest of the day, one of my favorite burger chains!

Nice service and easy parking but one of my tenements of burger society was broken here. I hate when there’s too much bread and not enough patty. I got the SB burger and half of the burger was great, the other veggie sandwich half made me sad. I love the pepper bar and that they give you free ranch! I do wish they used a paper plate/​container or had some sort of recycling for the trash because the big black plastic plates were kinda overkill.

This one, and all the locations I’ve been to since, are kept very clean, too. Also, no matter the location — I’ve experienced consistency across the chain. Whether you choose burgers, fries, salads, or all 3 — it’s fresh, good quality, well-​priced, and quick.
My favorite burger is the Teriyaki Char Burger with Cheese ($ 4.15) — love that char flavor and sweet tangy sauce. It’s nearly impossible to avoid their super fries (heck yeah!), so I would typically get a combo that includes a soft drink ($ 7.45). That’s fast food prices, and yet, no sacrifice on quality whatsoever.
I also highly recommend their salads. They have several kinds to choose from. More than half of my visits I would order the caesar salad with chicken ($ 6.95), and add bbq sauce atop. It is supreme! The chicken is served warm, and again, love that charbroiled flavor.

Staff: Very friendly, cheery I would say!
Seating: very small amount of indoor seating (about 15 tables) and about the same for outdoor tables.
Busy: Not as busy as other locations, so you know what that means: burger in mouth quicker!

It’s either this or In and Out but I prefer the Habit. Great hamburgers with good flavors and cooked well. I like my meat medium rare and they’ll accommodate. It’s presented well and not sloppy as In and Out. It’s not huge like some other places so not too filling but enough to satisfy. A little pricy but hey, Carl’s charge over $ 7 for their burger (not combo).
Today I tried their grilled Chicken club and it wasn’t that bad considering they’re a burger joint. It was well proportioned so one ingredient didn’t overwhelm the other. My only issue was the grease dripping from the sandwich as I but into it. Probably won’t have it again.
This place is smaller than other Habits I’ve been to but is clean and offers patio seating as well. The staff are accommodating and friendly and food is made fairly quick. Parking can be a little challenging on weekends as the center It’s located in is small. There is no street parking.

I’ve been to this chain in many different places. Food and service is usually tip-​top.
My ONLY complaint about this location is that the bathroom REEKS. Get an air freshener in there!

I’ve been to couple of these and the burgers are amazing enough to go back for. However, at this particular location there was customer service that truly excelled. The person that took my order (Lucas) was friendly and professional. Absolutely knew what he was doing. The gentleman that gave me my order (Louis) was so friendly that I felt he must be mentioned. The food was great, The burger was better than any restaurant and here at least, The service was exceptional!

I’ve been here a handful of times since it opened, and have never had a bad experience.
The cashiers/​people working have always been really friendly to me — I think that how you treat them depends a lot on how they’ll treat you back. I mean, it’s like the laws of the food service industry/​retail industry.
The Santa Ana sandwich (burger patty + avocado + sourdough bread) is my boyfriend’s favorite, I like the veggie burger. Also, get the tempeh fries! Fried green beans. I had no idea they existed till the last time I went.

Great service, great food and it’s always clean. Bbq chicken salad is a must ! The only bummer about this place is that it gets so crazy busy during lunch time. parking can be kind of difficult. I can’t really fault them for that though! Burgers are always fresh and their malts/​shakes are delicious !

Definitely a place we will return to!

This is a great place for a quick lunch or takeout dinner plans. This location in particular is clean, has friendly staff, and they get the orders out quickly. Our favorites are the Cobb salad, fried green beans, and Charburger with grilled onions.

Manager is VERY nice but young kids behind counter have big time attitude. Great burgers though.

horrible food, every time I order food to go it’s either burn or not cook well, I ordered a grill chicken salad first I had few broken small chicken which they were so rare and burned couldn’t be able to eat it I just throw the whole thing out, I would never go back anymore not worth a penny.

This place is awesome !! I feel you can’t get a quality burger anywhere that is fresh !! Quality beef !! Always hot and fresh ! The Habit also has awesome salads ! And my favorite is the albacore burger !! I am hooked and eat there at least ⁴⁄₅ times a month ! I also want to thank the habit for stopping by our company and giving us a handful of free certificates for free cheeseburger !! You guys ROCK !! I tell everyone I know to eat at The Habit ! Keep up the great service and job !

Restaurant is very small. Good for small groups not large ones. Staff was nice when taking the order. Noon time lunch is very crowded.
Counter: Very clean neat. Condiments were well stocked. Various drinks including 3 varieties of ice tea, and light lemonade.
Food: I had a chicken Cesar salad. Over all it was okay but they are very heavy on the dressing. I would get a good teaspoon full per bite sometimes. Kids chicken nuggets were good and fries are always great.
Bathroom: No paper towels, toilet doesn’t flush well. You need three flushes to get the paper down.

The burgers are ok; nothing really special about them. I felt like I was eating as burger at a diner, which isn’t a bad thing, but it also means it’s average. I did get full, and i left satisfied. There were some items one the menu that I didn’t get to try but looked good like their onion rings and shake.

There is something about above average burgers that turbocharges your life! I mean who would have thought that the cheaper cut of beef ground up served in a bun with some ketchup and grilled onions could be so amazingly good! These days there are so many places that do burgers that it’s easy to get lost in the crowd. Fast food chains don’t really appeal to me these days (except for In N out!). So I come to find a burger here at the habit.
The Habit is really an above average food experience. By walking in the door you can feel the Cali vibe, it’s fresh clean and comfortable.
I decided to order 3 Charburgers and 1 order of fries to go (for my family). Portions are large here and the burgers were really tasty. The really tasted grilled and the cooked onions added a nice touch. Menu has some interesting other options I’d be game to come back for.
Overall a serious solid 4 star experience. Believe the hype, eat a Charburger!

My usual order is a charburger combo meal which includes fries and a drink. The charburger consists of mayo, pickles, tomato, lettuce, carmelized onions… all on a toasted bun! You can add cheese, bacon, avocados or mushrooms for an additional charge. The burgers here so juicy and the fries are right on point! Hot crispy french fries… mm they taste even better when you dip them in ranch :)
Service is friendly and quick, just the way I like it. Def will be going back to try the other burgers on the menu like the mushroom swiss charburger & the teriyaki charbuger! I’ll let you know how those are… stay tuned! ;)

Freshly made high quality burgers for a reasonable price.
I ordered the teriyaki charburger and my husband got the prime rib on sourdough. I loved how the meat was charred on the outside, but still pink on the inside. It was moist and great for a little over $ 3. I had a bite of the tri tip, and the meat was well cooked, and moist as well. It was about $ 6 I believe.
You can get your burger or sandwich lettuce wrapped, which is pretty cool, too.
The sweet potato fries are a bit on the soft side, but they are good. I like how they have peppercinis and whatnot, as well.
The Tempera Green Beans are delicious! Get them!
I can see how this place can become a habit.

Cool lil burger joint. Apparently a chain out here in Cali. Nice outdoor seating, but the indoor seating was full fast and the bartop seating near the window was sardine-​tin tight.
Good menu selection. The onion rings were golden crispy, but the sweet potato fries were disappointing as they were bland and a little undercooked.
The burgers were pretty tasty. I had the teriyaki char and it was delish! Teriyaki sauce with grilled pineapple and swiss (I would order it next time w/​o the veggies, pickles, and caramelized onions).
I also like that they give u a pager to go off when ur order is ready.
High end fast food is what this place boils down to, but worth the pitstop off the 101.
