Veníamos con muchísimas ganas a probarlo, íbamos 3 personas, 2 de ellas veganas. El primer dato importante a tener en cuenta es que resulta imprescindible reservar, durante el tiempo que estuvimos no paraba de entrar gente y sin reserva es casi imposible comer, el local es muy mono, pero muy pequeño. Pedimos 3 platos, son bastante grandes y para compartir están genial. Probamos el aguacate relleno(espectacular, lo que más nos gustó), berenjena gratinada con setas(muy rico también) y, por último, alcachofas con arroz(una decepción absoluta y la razón por la que le pongo una estrella). No es temporada de alcachofas y preguntamos, la camarera nos dijo que no pasaba nada, que el plato se servía en perfectas condiciones. Pero las alcachofas estaban duras y peludas en el corazón, muy desagradables al comer. Lo dijimos, y bueno, la camarera nos dijo que lo comentaría en cocina y nunca supimos nada más. Luego, pedimos surtido de postres, son de 3 tartas a elegir, es una muy buena opción ya que las porciones de tartas individuales son muy grandes y caras. Estaban muy ricas, sobretodo la cheesecake. Y 2 cafés solos, bastante regulares. Pedimos la cuenta y sube bastante, más de 60 €, el plato de alcachofas son 14 €, teniendo en cuenta que eran las protagonistas del plato, esperábamos un descuento o que nos invitaran a los cafés. Nunca tuvimos feedback de cocina, esperamos al menos que no se lo sirvan a nadie más.

Delicious vegan food. Went there for lunch twice and everything I had was flavorful, fresh and well cooked. Recipes are innovative and the food tastes delicious primarily because they prepare it daily with no microwave and no processed additives or ingredients. Lunch is a very good deal and includes soup/salad, main dish, dessert/coffee and a drink. The vegan kefir(similar to kombucha) was pretty good.

Un restaurante pequeño con ambiente familiar. Fui la primera vez el fin de semana y puedo recomendar el sitio, tambien para los que no son veganos como yo. Nos atendieron muy bien, incluso fui con una persona celiaca y estaban muy atentos con nosotras y ofrecieron varias alternativas. Volveremos!

Rayen vegano is a tiny little place. The food is vegan, organic, health concious, etc. The meals are«pre-fix» meals with 2 options. I chose the kale salad for the 1st course and the noodles for the main course. The dessert was the third course and I chose chocolate cake. The flavor was amazing with all my choices. The plates are a stretch from what one knows as typical dishes and can look unappealing or the recipe may sound strange. Do not be afraid, everything is delicious. MAKE A RESERVATIONBEFORECOMING!!!

Absolutely delicious vegan food — was so elated to have a satisfying meal after struggling to eat in other restaurants in Madrid! There were two choices for the first course and two for the second — I took the white melon gaspacho which happened to be the best I have ever had. Would definitely recommend !!!

We had breakfast and dinner(x2) during our stay in Madrid(would have been more, but they are closed Tuesday and Wednesday). Great meals combined with friendly service = you can’t go wrong. We loved this place and it was super cozy inside. Anytime we travel back to Madrid we will definitely come here. We had the Raw Lasagna, «tuna» tartar, avacado toast, tofu scramble and green smoothie — all were fantastic!

A very sweet place. the people, the atmosphere, and the chef whipping up magic behind the kitchen window. I ate here twice while visiting Spain, with this place on my mind the rest of the time. I would recommend making reservations and eating at dinner time. The homemade hamburger and the enchiladas were out of this world. Please support this place… their success and attention is very deserved.

All vegan. We really like the small, charming café ambience. The lady that served us spoke good English. For lunches, they have a pre-fixe menu: 2 choices for starters, 2 choices for mains, and a drink(choice of water, ginger water or coffee). I had the pumpkin soup to start, which was a bit bland. And then I have the quiche, which was just okay. Hubby had the rice balls for the main, and it was a bit better, but kind of small. For dessert, we had the lemon cake, which was very dry. And a plum cake, which was just okay. Nothing to write home about, but I like that it is all vegan and a very cute café.

Delightful first Vegan meal in Madrid. Started with the«cheese» plate, which I wouldn’t really consider vegan cheese so much as vegan pâtés. Regardless, super yum. For my main, we all had the Tofu scramble with an Olive Tapenade and both sweet and regular potatoes. Wish I had room for dessert as it looked super yum, but was full from brunch. The décor was sweet and cozy. Wouldn’t mind sitting around to enjoy my Vegan hot chocolate. Glad to have tried this recent addition to the Vegan Madrid scene.

Un sitio pequeño y encantador, lo recomiendo a todo el mundo, desde los veganos hasta los amantes de la chuleta(como yo). Buena música, buen decorado, y la clientela que acude es peculiar, en el buen sentido de la palabra. La chica que nos atendió fue muy agradable. Te explica lo que no sepas del menú y se preocupa de que todo vaya bien. Desde mi estándar que es Sevilla, es caro, pero creo que para ser Madrid no se sale mucho de un precio correcto teniendo en cuenta lo que ofrecen. Los platos estaban todos buenísimos, y la cerveza artesana es una de las mejores que he probado. Por poner alguna pega(siempre me gusta poner alguna) los dos platos que probé estaban demasiado especiados a mi gusto. Supongo que cocinar exclusivamente con producto ecológico de temporada requiere ese plus que dan las especias.
