The food was OK, but nothing to write home about. I do appreciate the fact that this place exists though; if you’re anything like me, after a few days in Madrid you will go into tapa overload and never want to see another piece of cheese, french bread or jamón serrano ever again. It was nice to find a place that actually sold vegetables, whole grains and plant-based proteins. Would visit again just for the fact that I can’t eat tapas ALL damn day. Thanks Alma Food!

Eaters beware. It is a damn buffet with a ‘t’. The dishes have been under a hot lamp for a few hours, the door is automatic, so they’re also well dusted, believe you me it is not the crust that you’d like to gorge on. And at € 9.50 a pop and a can of beer, yeah, you heard it right the first time — CAN — at € 2.00 it is not easily swallowed either. No garlic in any dishes — joke. I’m not saving fresh breath for anyone, give me a break and some salt! Lovely interior cannot hide the blandness of food nor heinous pricing. I’ve had gold laced ice-cream for less than that and therefore cannot recommend the joint, spare yourselves the trip.
