Fantastic new menu, great meal on a Thursday night, lots of choice and a good atmosphere to boot, recommended.

No outdoor seating, no john smiths, Guinness is £3.70 :(Steak only came with two tiny onion rings, ploughmans just wasn’t a ploughmans. Wouldn’t go again.

Lovely pub — it’s a lot bigger inside than it looks from outside!
Very prompt service, with special little extras (like mulled wine in winter) and polite staff who know what they’re selling.
We had dinner here and the food was fantastic — the staff are really friendly, and will happily recommend their favourites — especially puddings!
In summer the steps up to the bar will be crowded with smokers, and the car park is always busy on weekend evenings.
Well worth the effort tho.

Good fast service. Its a well laid out pub, very spacious no live entertainment to speak of but good background music.
Very kid friendly with adjoining beer garden.
