Nice pub with friendly staff. Good selection of drinks at a decent price.
Never eaten there but plenty of people seem to and it looks good as dose the menu.

While staying close by in the Edward Hotel, we frequented Englands’ Glory nightly. The staff were tolerant of a group of loud Americans. The selection of ales and ciders is very good. The food is solid English food. Good sandwiches, great prices.

On a recent vist to Gloucester, and staying in a guest house opposite, my wife and i spent an evening at englands glory. What a great pub, we had a very nice meal there, and i enjoyed a very good (fewpint s) of ale. The manager and his wife were very nice and treated us both like we were locals .When Exeter come up too play glos in November this will be my first port off call.

Great pub made even better as it’s within walking distance although should you need to take the car they do have asmall car park. There is plenty of room inside with ample selection of beer and wine. On sunnier days there is a garden with plenty of benches. Food is really nice and quite reasonable and they cater well for children. Would recommend this pub for it’s value for money, great atmosphere and helpful staff.

This pub was one of the first in the city to go smoke free and has really benefitted from starting the régime early.
The food here is fantastic and there are special offers for OAP meals.
Shame that the car park is so tiny, but the staff are always friendly and welcoming.
The pub has a decent sized function room too — if you’re having a party — consider this place.
They also have a pool table! yey! It’s a very welcoming place — with lots of little cubby holes for intimate drinks or larger tables for group lunches.
