Great addition to Wilmington! Stopped in for Lunch. I had the delicious«GREENMOUNTAIN» (Home roasted turkey on very fresh sourdough bread with cheddar cheese, apples, charred red onion and maple balsamic dressing.). My nephew had a burger with fries and my son had a homemade strawberry crêpe! Everything was fresh, home made and oh so tasty! Coming back again and again!

Great café! Literally spent all day here while working remotely. Was very comfortable, staff was super friendly, and food was excellent. Great vibes and décor. Stellar coffee as well. Would absolutely come back!

What a gem! Delicious fresh sandwiches, salads, and hot and fresh coffees… what is not to love. Adore the local and seasonal ingredients, the hand cut fries, and the made to order goodness. It is walk up service and the food is then delivered to your table. There is also an adorable little market with cute VT and culinary themed gifts. Is it ridiculous that I also love the pallet changing table in the bathroom? So cute and unique. We are so glad this joint popped up in downtown Wilmington!

Nice coffee/sandwich spot for people out of town and up here for ski trips. They have cozy tables and chairs and sofas in the back. A wall of games and magazines for your leisure. Bathrooms are huge, clean and new. A variety of sauces, chips and food for sale. Got coffee here and hung out in the back. Stayed for about an hour. It was warm but as soon as people left it cold colder. I think they turned down their heat depending on heads. Regardless it’s a cute place to stop by!

The renovation of the building post Irene is nice — But food lacks flavor, and being served by a guy in a tank top is less than appetizing. Other times been in and service is very subpar. Sad. There were high hopes.

I didn’t try any of the food here, but they have a nice selection of value added artisan foods. Great coffee and the staff is friendly. There’s room to get comfortable in the back with a large fireplace and games to play. A must go in Wilmington.

Really nice place with a wonderful selection of gourmet items from all around the world(Spain, Italy, Mexico, Morocco…) The room at the back is gorgeous with many seating options, board games, reading material, great views, plenty of light and a fireplace(which unfortunately was not lighted) Ah, yes… the coffee is really good too… which is kind of the point, isn’t it? Would love to have this place close to home

O My G! Roost is the perfect place to start your cozy Vermont morning. Ok here’s the rundown: 1. Delicious black coffee 2. Pour your own water and grab your own glass 3. Egg sandwich on Homemade potato bun 4. Lots of couches and board games. Oh and we saw some sexy roasted chickens for sale as well as lots of nice granolas and ools. I’ll be back Roost you can count on that. Xoxo

This recently renovated take-out, coffee bar, lunch café, bakery, local food product shop, some gifts etc etc… is certainly pretty to view. They have one of the most amazing and creative bathrooms…5 stars for the his/her restroom furthest left — check it out! The sink was made from a barrel– very cool. It was also very clean when we stopped by. I look forward to trying lunch sometime — in the inviting back room with a large field-stone fireplace. The bakery has some appealing items. We tried a coconut cupcake. It was good… but not WOW. The owner was a little snippy when I picked up a glass jar/bucket and was ready to purchase it with a $ 9.95 price tag. She said; «Oh no, I am not willing to sell this». Well, why in hell was it on the gift shop shelf? Not good. She also ignored me while I stood in front of her for 5 minutes waiting to buy a cupcake. Then a passing server asked what I needed. Well, despite this glitch, we will check out the coffee and food sometime. Nice to see the town doing so well, and businesses really spruced up(too bad the prices are spruced up as well!) The Town of Bennington could take a lesson from Wilmington’s town planners!

Great food in a great setting. The seating area is very comfortable — and can fit a variety of party sizes. Our group really enjoyed the board games and just hanging out in the back room. The food was fresh and delicious. They bake their bread on the premises — and have really mastered the meaning of fresh, quick food. The service was quick and very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend this place! We stopped here on our way through town to grab a quick lunch. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of food and beverage options. Our food was fresh and delicious, and we were able to sit on the deck with our dog while we ate.

A very cool place as far as set up and décor! Loved the overall design and cozy feel of the back room. Bathrooms are even designed well and fit the atmosphere. The coffee was great. The food was just ok. Service was friendly. We had a burger and grilled cheese. Burger was«lost» on the large bun. Fries were decent but hard to mess up. Also bought seasoning from the«Market» inside the roost — looking forward to trying them.

when in southern Vermont a stop in this awesome place is a must. This place is fantastic, splendid and pleasant. Well the food is where it’s all at, it’s all NON-GMO and they also have organic coffee. The sangria and tacos on the deck are great and a must have, as well as the falafel wrap.

Fun place. Wish they stayed open into the evening. I think they’re missing out on a lot of business

Food here is excellent and the décor is so quaint, comfortable, modern and so Vermont country! The kind of place you want to stay all day sipping coffee and eating great food. Staff is so friendly. This is something out of ‘Friends’- a place that will become a regular. Wish I lived closer! Love it.

Great addition to Wilmington! I had a turkey sandwich converted to spinach salad –with eager agreeability from staff – which was perfectly flavored with balsamic vinaigrette that actually tasted homemade. Outside seating on a beautiful day was a bonus. I wish they offered sparking mineral water, but hopefully they’ll get to it. Instead they offered iced peppermint tea. I loved how smiling and enthusiastic everyone was. I’ll be back when in Wilmington! Something to look forward to!
