Keenans is the first bar me and my friends hit every night. We all always drink voldka and water or sweet yea and voldka. The service is top notch and they do a good job of keeping the riff raff out. I look forward to my first drink at keenans all week.

Ate there twice this past week. We really liked their sushi. We did not care for their spinach dip(had no flavor), or their fish tacos(the fish itself was overcooked and dry). With that said– we would go back for that awesome sushi!

A large complex of bars, had to pay a $ 5 cover to enter. They did have a pretty good cover band playing in the large, covered outdoor area. I’m not sure why said band required about twenty people on stage and four saxophones, but they were good. Massive crowd of people there for the band, of all ages. Bit hard to move around. As you may have guessed, this made the bathroom/floor pretty gross. Unfortunately, the beer selection was poor, and overpriced as well.

This place is crap. The staff is rude. Feel like getting beer poured down your back or waiting 15 – 20 for a beer by rude, self-entitled bartenders? Go here. Good things they have going are live bands and lots of people to meet.

The bartenders are so friendly and caring. The cheesburger is literally the best I have EVER had. I will return again and again. Great music too.

Oh Keenan’s… I have a feeling at the rate you’re expanding Wildwood may be renamed Keenanswood. Let me start by saying Keenan’s is consistently fun. It’s big enough to always get a drink no matter the size of the crowd and the staff have always been really kind to my friends and I no matter how drunk and obnoxious we were. Now– let me tell you my issues… Irish Weekend– to the«ladies» who thought it was OK to «take the Browns to the Superbowl» on top of a VERY clogged toilet– you my darlings are the reasons I hate Keenans. If a toilet is seemingly overflowing… DON’T GOTHERE! It’s really quite simple. I know you had a lot to drink, but the streets were littered with Port-a-Potty’s, and had you waited just a little longer you probably would have been able to go into a stall with a working toilet. Word of advice — if you’re going to Keenan’s, and you are female– do not expect to use the bathrooms after midnight.

First off this place makes money hand over fist and the owners have not done a thing to update and/or make the place even remotely appealing. It is truly a dump and smells like a cross between cat urine, vomit and doo doo. Went there a few weeks back(for a reunion) and, following the reunion mind you, they had advertised that Coronas were $ 2.50 until close. Someone we were with was charged $ 5.00 dollars and when had asked the bartender about the special, he told her it didn’t apply. She mentioned the signage INSIDETHEBAR that clearly stated that they were $ 2.50 to which the the bartender responded«Yeah, go hire a lawyer». Are you serious??? The same night we went up to the bar and got a few Coronas. When they came out(warm mind you) without a lime we asked for a few limes. The same bartender proceeded to walk away and began talking with some of his cool dude buddies. A few minutes later he walked by and we asked AGAIN for a few limes. At that point he grabs a big bucket of limes, throws it on the bar and says«Is that enough limes for you?». Honestly steer real clear of this place it is a rip off and utterly disgusting.

I hate being forced to go to this place it always packed and filthy. You figure they made like a million dollars a weekend that they could afford to keep the bathroom stocked and cleaned. I’d much rather go anywhere else but here!

Wow some bad reviews but mine is more about just one night – MONDAYS in the summer so I really have no valid opinion of any other time. And yes a a previous reviewer pointed out you are likely to run into your parents especially on a Monday night when THESENSATIONALSOULCRUISERS are there. I love Monday nights even with its elbow to elbow dancing and elbow to elbow drinking. The crowd is mostly 35 – 55 and they’re there to dance. Mostly couples but a few singles like me. I did spot a decent amount of 20 somethings and they had a blast but I am sure Mondays aren’t for everyone in that age group. Went with a friend this week and he said He hadn’t had this much fun dancing to great music in years! CONS: Don’t leave your drink anywhere for even a second or the waitstaff will toss it. An easy way to make more money? And Parking is a challenge. Park in the municipal lot. The cruisers play approx 630−10pm. PROS: High energy music and dancing with a nice crowd all there with one goal: having fun. OOOH and the spray they provide on humid summer nights does just the trick in keeping you cool enough to dance.

My parents and sister and most of my family live in the Wildwoods. They are all constantly trying to convince me to move there. Keenan’s Irish Pub is a classic example of why I NEVER wish to live in the Wildwoods. Why you ask? Exhibit A: Drunk annoying people who are clueless. Exhibit B: Racism and discrimination. Oh, you need elaboration on that one? No problem. On several occasions I have had issues with the bouncers at Keenan’s. But, I’ve always overlooked their rudeness– because to be perfectly honest, they must deal with a lot of crap on a daily basis from underaged kids and drunk A-holes. However, after I got married and my husband(a LEGAL U.S. resident, but not a native of the U.S.) started to come with me, we constantly had trouble entering Keenan’s. The bouncers basically started harassing my husband about his identification. Um. Really? he showed you his driver’s license from his native country, passport, and Permanent Resident card(aka Green Card). They told us «you must have a United States ID to enter this bar.» Wow. It’s very interesting that«you must have a United States ID to enter this bar», however that ID clearly doesn’t have to say that you’re 21 years old. Oh? You didn’t know that got busted a few years ago for allowing minors in? It didn’t surprise me. I guess If my husband was 16, wore a miniskirt and push-up bra they might let him enter. So, Not only does it suck inside(you know the routine– stupid music, smelly moldy atmosphere, long waits for drinks, disgusting bathrooms, and lots of underage drinking), they also love to harass non-native Americans. Exhibit C: The bathrooms are disgusting. DIS! GUS! TING! Imagine the toilet scene in Trainspotting. Keenan’s, you are truly a dump x 10!

Ugh-overrated & overpriced. You will only catch me here on Irish Weekend when I am forced by a gaggle of my friends. it gets so packed you can’t move and you can’t hear yourself think. Not my scene!

Really awesome outdoor deck with music. Unfortunately, we went on a Saturday night. Definitely the type of place you want to grab a few drinks before heading here. Interesting group of people definitely«prowling». Beware of the scantily clad girls and«dbs», but other than that the place has potential for fun if you go with friends and a few shots beforehand

Biggest bar in North Wildwood. Great new outdoor bar area perfect for summers at the shore. Great bands. A lot of schools have reunions here. Usually a friendly crowd, bouncers don’t put up with any riff raff which is good. Very strict about id checks for underage drinking.
