Joe Joe’s Place

I am not going to sit here and compare it to NY pizza because there is no comparison. Price wasnt bad for a pie (15 dollars) and they were open pretty late which is a plus but they could have used higher quality ingredients. The pizza was too salty, and under cooked.

My family always makes a trip to Joe Joe’s during our annual beach trip. If you come here early in the evening, there won’t be many people, if any. It doesn’t get busy until about 2am, when all of the drifters from the nearby bars are scrounging for a bite. However, if you’re looking for a pizza place to have some dinner, this place is still great. The pizza is PHENOMENAL. My favorite is Colleen’s: white pizza with spinach, tomato, and ricotta. YUM. The pizzas are huge and very reasonably priced. The caesar salad is also very good, and that’s coming from a person who has very high expectations for salad. You can’t go wrong with any of the appetizers. The one downside is that they don’t have a kid’s menu if you’re coming here with your young ones, but the little one in my party loves the pizza. If you’re in the North Wildwood area and are looking a place to get dinner before hitting the boardwalk or are looking for a place to grab a quick bite at 3am, this is the place for you.

Home of the $ 5 slice, but they’re big slices with ridiculously plentiful toppings. Anything tastes good late night after leaving flip flopz but Joe Joe’s is usually the stop to make.

Last weekend I split a plain pie four ways and two of us liked it while the other two did not at all. I am one of the people who did not like it.
I like pizza with a crust that has a crispy outside a chewy inside and a good amount of flavorful sauce on top. This pizza had very doughy crust and the sauce barely had any flavor.
As written in other reviews I believe most of the good reviews are from drunk people who come here after the bar. I would give it one star but I gave two instead because the other half of the group I was with said it was not bad.

Went here during the blues fest so maybe they were just overwhelmed, but there was hardly anyone in the place. Ordered pizza and the girl asked us so many questions for the three slices we ordered. The entire staff behind the counter was frazzled. I ordered a slice of white. It was good but not heated long enough. There’s no atmosphere here and was just an average place. Pricy for what it is. I’d give it one more shot the next time I’m down.

OMG They call this pizza? Ordered 3 pies and a salad for $ 70.00. The absolute worst pizzalike thing I’ve ever had! Cant even call it pizza. All 3 pies were completely tasteless.
Only reason this place gets 5 stars is because its smack dab in the middle of the drunkin mile and all the starving drunks cant resist tasteless pizza at 4:00 am when the bars close! They also must be loaded when they write their reviews to give 5 stars. No stars for no taste only reason it got 1 star is because i cant figure out how to get it off without rewriting the post and this place was not worth my time to do this again!

I love this place! I always stop in for at least a slice when I am in Wildwood. Great atmosphere, great food! I love Joe Joe’s Place!

If u r in wildwood with kids during the day light and evening this is the place to stop. Great food to please the whole family. Casual and friendly spot. We even stopped over (without the grandkids) after a late night at the clubs. It was open!!!

Oh Joe Joe’s, how I yearn for you and your overpriced pizza when Im in a drunken stupor. Your location within stumbling distance of the bars is akin to a drug dealer waiting just outside the school yard. I hate you because you only accept cash, but I love you for your buffalo chicken and cheesesteak slices. And the BBQ chicken. And the sicilian. And the plain. Whatever money I leave the bar with is sure to end up in your till by 3am, and if I come up short, you’re right there by my side, pointing to your in-​house ATM with the $ 2.99 fee. I acknowledge your dining room, but always wondered what the hell its for, as Ive always enjoyed your pizza while sitting on the curb or in the back of a taxi. Maybe some day, I will stop by, sober, and enjoy something other than pizza in that dining room. Until then, dont change.

I’m in love with their cheesesteak and marghertia pizzas. I admit sometimes it can be a bit pricey depending on your order, though.
