Stay away from O’Boyles!!! The wait staff is VERY rude and unless you are a regular you will have a hard time getting waited on. There are plenty of places on the island that are very friendly and want your business. I can see why this place is not doing well

Stopped here for some late night appetizers and to hear a band. The service was horrible, and the food was completely disgusting. The«Irish nachos» is a heaping pile of thick cut potato chips(no seasoning or salt), big chunks of raw onion, tomato, black olives and burnt cheese plopped on top. We tried to order chicken wings, but were told the kitchen was closed(although they had just served 3 tables around us). They did, however, make us your run-of-the-mill chicken fingers — not sure why they could make one but not the other? Took forever for service and to get the check. Our waitress’s shift apparently ended in the middle of our visit because she simply walked out of the restaurant without finishing our tab transaction. Oh, and the band stunk(it was 2 very old people who played 5 songs then took a break, played another 5 songs and then left). This place is a massive disappointment — they have a very large, clean space but that’s about the best I can say. Will not return.

If you don’t have anything nice to say… Don’t say anything at all. I can’t help myself… Rotten broccoli.

Came in on a Sunday night with a party of seven. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was good. We had the chicken pot pie, cheesesteak and burgers. All entrees were good and came out fast. Waitress did a great job keeping our drinks full and ensuring that we were happy while not being too intrusive. Overall, great meal at a very reasonable price. When I am back in North Wildwood visiting my family again, I will definitely return.

If you’re looking for a great Irish pub you should definitely stop in here! Happy hours are tasty with pub grub, and regular menu. Many flavors on tap! Sports bar feel with many tv’s. Irish whiskey choices! ! Clean and friendly with able bartending! The wings are excellent! Entertainment and on line menu makes it easy to pre~ check the bar out! Lots of free parking too!

Nice wildwood Irish bar. Bar is great and a local hang out. The food has room for improvement. Shepard’s pie is with shredded meat not ground meat. Need more mashed potatoes. Has Mexican burger that was a little to undercooked. However the drinks are good. Did a nice job with cleanup and renovation from hurricane Sandy

Loved it when it was Tony’s so was really excited when it reopened. My family and I tried this place three different times hoping it would get better. Unfortunately, it never did… just got worse! The staff are so rude and only cater to «friends» or sit outside smoking all night. The bar was pretty empty and we waited over 20 minutes with our money out and the bartender never even looked up from her conversation. Just awful! Very disappointed! Don’ t waste your time unless you know somebody in there who will give you some service.

Not the worst food I’ve ever eaten but certainly not the best. The server was less than mediocre and had to be told when we needed refills on our drinks. Only one refill is allowed after the first which is tacky. The food wasn’t cooked as ordered and was over cooked. Overall I wouldn’t return to this restaurant.

We have gone there a few times over the summer and again this past weekend and each time the food was awesome and the waitstaff and owners were top notch. This weekend I had the Irish Burger(beef, Cheddar cheese, cured Irish bacon, grilled onions and fresh fried potato chips). It was excellent. Other items I have had: Wings– just OK Grilled Reuben– Very Good The bar is very clean and nicely decorated and in the winter they have a great fireplace for those cold winter shore evenings. All and all, a really great atmosphere. Oh yeah, I’ve heard they have a pretty good breakfast(especially the home fries).

We had been here last winter/spring and the food was terrible. My mother in law saw a new review that they had changed the menu and the write up sounded good so off we went. We were seated with menus and the server was right there for our drink order. Decent selection of beers on tap(still had some Victory Summer Love so maybe they do move as much off season). Started with Maggie’s sampler(or something to that effect. Consisted of onion rings, fried cheese, fried tomato’s. I feel like I’m missing something else as well and it had a balsamic drizzle over it. For a fried dish it wasn’t greasy and was tasty. The MIL had the beef pie and enjoyed it. My wife and I shared the crab cake appetizer and a seafood paella special. The crab cakes were good, not great. We always say that you can judge a restaurant by their crab cakes and O’boyles passed the test. The paella was excellent. Nice to see that the menu and food has been corrected since our last visit and Will definitely return.
