Horrible food. We ordered burgers they were too well done(one was ordered medium well the other medium– both came out well). The roll was burned. The fries were dry. The house chips were ok. Would come again for drinks but NEVER food. The service was good Came back again. Bar wait staff were excellent and very attentive. Once again, problem with the food. The mozzarella sticks were excellent. The person I was with ordered wings at the same time. We were finished the sticks and the wings still hadn’t come out. They did apologize and comp the wings but it really sets the pace when something like that happens. We came from Cape May, the neighborhood here is somewhat seedy and desolate.

There weren’t any cattle. Aside from that the service was great. Aroma in the room is very Irish oriented. Great spot to shoot pool. Had a salmon with grilled pineapple that was pretty solid. Mozzarella sticks were huge, which I don’t know if that is a good or bad thing but they tasted pretty good. Overall fantastic service.

Just fine for a dinner place in the middle of the week while on vacation. Good service, good beer selection and a nice steak dinner. I stopped in on a Wednesday night and sat at the bar. Live music on stage with an impressive trio doing the usual covers of classic rock and country hits. I went with a 12 oz. strip steak and it was a little pricey but I expect that in these shore towns. The steak was done to my liking and I had no complaints. This is a good place to go if you’re looking for casual and if you’re looking for a good beer bar. I’d go back again.

Service was good, wasn’t very busy, off season September, Monday night. The food was really good, heavy. Which worked because it’s pretty windy and chilly tonight. The appetizer was a buffalo chicken meatball and it was terrific! They had a hoagie made of the them and I wish I would have tried that. I instead tried the Sheppard’s pie, which was very good too. Portions are generous. I would recommend!

Loved this place! Everything we had was delicious. The service was excellent as well. Went twice in a row during our three day stay. Stoli Doli’s are great! Best mozzarella sticks & stuffed burger.

3rd year in a row we’ve eaten at C&C during our Wildwoods vacation. Dinner this time was just as flawless. The atmosphere during the week is quieter(live music makes it loud, but doesn’t detract). They take reservations, have a great staff and the price is what you’d expect from a non chain restaurant. The food… my gods, the food. Must have apps: the tater tots and the buffalo chicken meatballs. Unique flavors spruce familiar staples up to new heights. Of course you have to new into Bleu cheese, though. The chef’s specialties, entrees, burgers and kid’s meals are all huge portions, creative and presented beautifully. Especially the rack of lamb(get it rare. .scrumptious!) and the meatloaf. The fish and chips rival what you’d find in London. Last tip. … don’t skip the birch beer. Enjoy! We do every time.

Do not waste your time at this terribly run excuse for a restaurant. We made reservations and were seated right away which was the ONLY positive aspect of our experience. It took 2 waiters and 20 minutes to bring out our drink order–(water and juice for the kids). No one came by to even check on us so after about 30 minutes, we got up and asked about our order. The manager gave us the run around and we seriously considered leaving which, in retrospect, would have been a GREAT decision– but we decided to wait it out. After a 40 minute total wait, our appetizers were delivered but the order was wrong. The servers– who were different than our first two waiters, didn’t know what they were doing. We waited another 30 minutes for our cold and undercooked entrees which were ALL swimming in grease. Honestly we could have picked better food out of a dumpster on the boardwalk… Rather than tell us the truth– that the kitchen is painfully slow, the manager gave us a bullshit story that the chef walked out, but if you read the previous posts, you will see that historically other people complained of long wait times. The staff was so inattentive and terribly disorganized that I don’t even understand how this place operates. If you have kids do yourself a HUGE favor and go anywhere but here. If you want an edible meal and/or if you intend on doing anything else after your meal– do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. Cattle’n’Clover is a bar. A really terrible bar. My family has been vacationing in wildwood for 50+ years and I could tell you that our experience here will be remembered as one of the WORST. There is literally no where you will go that has worse food than this.

We went to Cattle and Clover last night with my husband and two children. It was very busy and the hostess was telling other people that there was a 30 minute wait but we had a reservation and we were seated right away. It was 20 minutes before our server arrived to take our drink order. So, we ordered our appetizers and entrees at the point too. It took another 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive– 3 sodas and 1 beer. After nearly an hour after being seated, a ridiculously long time to wait especially with kids, we still did not have our appetizers. My husband told our server that we had plans and our server Ja went to check the status of our order with the kitchen. He assured us that our appetizers were next and our entrees would be 10 minutes behind them. He kept his word. Our appetizers came out a few minutes later and were very good. Our entrees came out while we were still enjoying our apps. Everything was very tasty! I definitely recommend the Baked Short Rib Mac & Cheese. Unfortunately, the exceedingly long wait took away from my rating. Our server did his best to make it right after we called it to his attention which was great. I would go back again for the great food & great beer selection. However, I would probably go earlier in the evening when the kitchen is less backed up.

I read reviews about this place online and since you could make a reservation through Open Table, I thought this place should have been good. However, it turned out to be more than a disaster and let me explain why. The waiter we had seemed like a nice guy and when he didn’t write down our orders, we became a little skeptical, pretty much predicting something would go wrong and it did. We ended up seeing him maybe twice over the course of an hour and half: when he took our order and came to apologize about screwing up the order and explaining they would take 15% off the bill. My nephew has a severe food allergy and this was explained immediately when we sat down. This is not hugely uncommon and restaurants are usually aware of this and accommodating. As a result of not writing anything down or possibly being 100% coherent, the food came out wrong for my nephew. Different servers delivered the food where we immediately told them this was wrong and he cannot eat this because of his allergy. Again, our initial waiter was no where to be found. After telling this this isn’t what he orders because he has an allergy, the must have rushed through getting the write order which probably wasn’t cooked correctly. We were irritated and finally his food came out. Again, we never saw our waiter again until we asked two other waiters if we could grab another round of drinks and our food came out wrong. He finally showed up again and apologized, saying his manager will take 15% off the bill. Then the manager came out and explained discounting our bill, not apologizing but instead telling us the wait time on ticket, when we ordered and when we got our food. Now for the big finale: the morons who took out order and I say morons(plural because there was more than one) obviously didn’t take us seriously, didn’t get our order right or just completely disregarded my nephews food allergy. I know this because an hour later on the Wildwood boardwalk when the kids in their summer vacation were getting on the rides, he went into Anaphylatic Shock, had to be given an Epipen, and be rushed to the emergency room in an ambulance. If anyone knows anything about this, they know it can be fatal if not treated. So I’m not sure how it all arrived at this situation other than picking a bad restaurant with poor wait staff. These people make their living on tourists and did a horrible job. If anyone knows if there are legal implications, please let me know. I hope the next time I drive by this place is out of business.

When you just can decide between Fish N Chips or Shepard’s Pie, I go with the the Irish Surf/Turf which is smaller portions of both. Be prepared for a large appetite or to bring home a box. Met John Shepard last year and he rocks the house bringing entertainment back to Pacific Avenue. This is not the place for bad hunters(AKA vegetarians) … This is a true Irish Pub with traditional fare. This is the best place for us on the Island.

Never again. Came here on Father’s Day for a nice dinner. Three of us had a decent meal. My daughter, who is vegan did not. She ordered their Portobello Burger which is a portobello mushroom with some sautéed vegetables on it. Since she is vegan she ordered it with no roll, no pesto sauce, no cheese and no chips. I asked to have it placed on some lettuce and tomato to bulk it up. The server said it came with plenty of veggies so there was no need. She ordered a baked potato with it so she could fill up. You would think with the elimination of so many things they would just give her the damn potato. No, charged us $ 2.50. So a piece of mushroom and a tiny bit of veggies wound up costing 17.50 or something like that. Also, we got coffee and I asked for some Equal, server handed us 1 package each, gee thanks. Side note, the Equal was lifted from WaWa. Way to go, what a terrible way to run your business.

The food here on my recent visit was quite terrible. Thankfully, the mozzarella sticks were still ginormous(although quite bland), and the service is still top notch — except that they charged our friend a cover knowing that she was joining our 15+ table that arrived at 8:30pm. If it wasn’t for our waitress Kaitlyn, I would have considered a 1-star review. She did everything she possibly could to help our table, even splitting the table into about 7 checks. My burger as well as a couple other burgers were on the greasy side. The steak fries(actually potato wedges) were way overcooked. Some of them were inedible. This might have to do with the fact that they were trying to bang out a 15-top, but I still think some quality control is in order. My friend ordered a cod and crab cake sandwich. Needless to say, it was mostly cod. For the price she paid, they could change the cod and crab cake sandwich into a full on crab cake. Other than that, there is still live music, sports on the TVs and an outside area to hang out if the weather is nice. This place has lots of potential and mostly good people, so I really hope they fix the issues with their kitchen.

Reminder, this is coming from drinking and eating there off-season(late September). Went there for a nightcap after dinner at another location. The outside bar was open, so that is where we drank. The place had a good crowed due the the Wildwood Irish festival, that held earlier in day. They had a live band and the drinks were flowing(our bartenders were on top of their game), which a bunch flowed down my throat. The next evening went there for dinning. The food and service were great. Was very impressed with our waitress in making sure all was going good for us.
