I’m just getting settled from NJ in Virginia Beach and building my network of reliable auto shops and experts. I’ve always got a car project going on and I’m pleased to share that Robert at Brownings took good care of me.
I took my FJ60s alternator to him for a rebuild. Unfortunately the parts to rebuild it were no longer in production. He sourced me a new alternator, at a fair price. The part is great and it’s putting out more amps than expected, better than the OEM 40amps.
Super friendly service and I’ll be using them again.

Awesome service… they rebuilt my alternator once and it burnt up. I bought a h/​o alternator and they explained to me why I had trouble send what I needed to do. No frills no bulbs*$t straight to the point service. I’m a loyal customer as are a lot others. I heard of them from word of mouth through friends and stereo shops… can’t go wrong.
