Have you ever seen someone cook a meal while texting or talking on his cell phone? It doesn’t inspire confidence

I came here one day just out of curiosity and I am really happy that I did! I’m a big fan of Japanese food and ordered a miso salmon bowl and a milk tea boba! Pros: Very yummy food, sweet teriyaki sauce and wonderful noodles They have boba tea!!! Lots of flavors too, I recommend the milk tea personally Good prices, not overpriced like a lot of mall food Cons: Only one register was open despite there being a really long line Service was very slow, people working there were in no hurry

Horrible service, so so food! Not worth your money!!! Girl behind had to be called from the back each time a customer came up to order! Forgot my drink, then never provided a straw! I understand it was not a busy time, but customer service should especially be at a premium when the food is average!!!

What I really wanted was gengis khan, but the line was too long so I thought I would try this. Nothing special. I ordered the crispy sesame chicken bowl and was quite disappointed actually. The chicken was drenched in their sweet and sour sauce and there was more fried batter than chicken when it came to the meat. You can chose noodles, rice or both with your bowl. I chose both, but unfortunately, like my chicken, it was drenched with the sauce. You’re probably better off with something else.

Food is really good, made fresh, great service. By far one of the best Japanese cuisine spots I’ve been to in a while !

It looks like this location has two Unilocal«pages». Either way, I will post my review on both. Food has a great taste but there’s just something off. Starters would be the lack of the main item. There was more rice than any other item that comes in their bowls. The noodles did not taste fresh as they state on their TV poster and the veggies tasted burned. For drinks, our cups were mostly filled with ice than the actual refreshment. And to top it all off, while I’m sitting here, I can see the girls serving themselves food and eating at the front. Very unprofessional and violation of food safety procedures. I don’t expect this to be a high end place. I DO expect to get my money’s worth. I feel like they went out of their way not to.

Food was tasty, but there is not enough value for the money. I ordered the sesame chicken bowl. My gf had the sesame shrimp bowl. The bowl was 40% rice, 40% noodles and 20% chicken/shrimp. And the drinks are a bit of a rip off too. They filled the cup almost to the brim with ice, then filled with soda/cherry blossom lemonade. So basically, if there is a corner to cut, they cut it. Also, two of staff were eating behind the counter. Isn’t that against health code or something?

I love eating here. We come to the mall once a month at least just so can get my fix. The spicy California rolls and chicken bowl are great. It takes a while to get your food, but that is because it’s made to order.

Wow their teriyaki chicken was out of this world. I can’t believe it was from a food court. I’ll be back for sure!!!

Horrible service. The female staff are too busy putting on makeup in the kitchen area and gossiping to pay attention to customers. I saw 2 girls flirting with male customers and stop what they were doing or who they were helping to make food for the male. Wouldn’t eat here again.

I should know better than to eat at Japanese joints in the mall so not a surprise that I regret not going the safe route and hitting up Panda Express. The chicken was a little dry. Considering how fast it comes off the grill, I wonder if they boil the chicken to cook it and then throw on the grill for the charcoal grill marks. The vegetables didn’t seem fresh. The whole bowl was masked with a teriyaki sauce which helped. The California roll is covered in tempura batter then deep fried so it comes out warm and greasy while eating. I would have preferred it cold and not greasy. The strawberry Boba is not a fresh fruit smoothie. It’s just ice and a syrup of some sort. Couple that with the Boba and it’s too sweet to enjoy. Overall, not worth the $ 22 it set me back for lunch. Couldn’t finish any of it which is rare for someone fat like me, and not worth bagging it to carry home. It subsequently found it’s way to the trashcan. Fattie tapping OUT…

Had shrimp bowl. Noodles, vegetables and miso soup were room temperature. Soda flat. They shorted us on our order initially. Got sick to my stomach shortly after eating there.

You gotta try this establishment if you like chicken bowls or sushi. It is the best we’ve ever had. The food is always fresh and cooked properly. Plus, it’s a healthy meal. The service is very good too. Come bye and try it, you’ll enjoy a great meal.

I was very disappointed, the vegetable in the teriyaki bowl tasted old and they were very small pieces just a bit bigger than rice grains, the California tempura roll had extra thick tempura on it could hardly fit a piece in your mouth, my husband had the crispy sesame chicken bowl, I’ve never seen him not finish something in 15 years, yuk, extra thick coating you hardly taste the very small pieces of chicken.

This is my first time eating here and I’m very pleased with the food. I ordered the crispy sesame shrimp and it’s very very tasty. The flavor is a rich sweet & spicy, and the breading is crunchy, not mushy or soggy. The bowl is about 1.5−2x larger than a bowl from Panda Express, so $ 10 for a bowl and drink isn’t too bad. I’ll definitely be coming back to try other items.

This is my first time having a sushi roll at a food court eatery. It is ok if you must have a quick sushi fix. But not outstanding. You may be better off having the teriyaki chicken, which had a better flavor to it.

Service is not great the food is not great either, wanted sukiyaki beef but ended up getting regular sirloin. Mom ordered vegetable bowl and it had a few little vegetables with 99% rice. Sushi looks pretty good. Food isn’t bad but the price isn’t right for what you get.
