This is my weekly go-to spot. Kudos to Daniel and Rebekah! Food is great but the drinks are even better! If you want to try their food, I highly recommend a burger! Drinks… We’ll take your pick! There is a large selection! I am predictable and usually order the same simple drinks, however I get in the mood for a ‘surprise me’ drink. This is a hidden bar and highly suggest a visit.

This place is a hidden gem! They serve excellent food like mahi mahi tacos, meatballs, fresh Bbq chips, and the best wedge salad I’ve ever had! They make their own sauce and dressing. We love karaōke nights and the bartenders are always friendly. We usually come to bowl but end up hanging out here. Prices for food and drinks are very reasonable! Best hidden dive bar around!

After hearing about the wonderful bartenders we thought we should try the place to get a nice«local oasis». Well time to caravan on. We ordered a Gibson and they brought a Gimlet, we ordered a Manhattan and an Old Fashioned and they were indistinguishable, not close… but very nearly the same, not even a garnish to identify them. The mini tacos were tasty and not a bad price, but we came in and they took our drink order first, then our snack order a few minutes later, which was a few seconds after happy hour. They charged us regular price, pretty no class. When we were there they had two waitresses who each were responsible for covering half the room and half the bowling alley, so we had to wait between orders, wait for the bill and wait to pay. I’m not sure if this is because they are cheap or that they want you to go bowl a line between drinks. I can’t say it was bad, it’s just that it wasn’t great. I think I need a drink!

This place is pretty shady and always seems to have a large number of overly intoxicated people. It’s located inside of Gable House Bowl, in Torrance. It’s a karaōke dive bar. The only good thing about this place is that the drinks are relatively inexpensive. They also have a good selection of songs to choose from, encompassing all genres & generations of music. I would look for other karaōke bars, personally.

Look, imma tell you something but PLEASE keep it a secret. This is one of my all-time favorite bars. The food is good but the bartenders here are AMAZING. Easily some of the best bartenders I’ve ever seen and they’re tucked away in a bowling alley! Daniel is the best. He makes all the classics perfectly, and sometimes I just take his recommendation on a new drink. Always awesome. In fact, we only sit in his section when he’s there. HOWEVER, last time we went we let another guy make our drinks and we were NOT disappointed. There’s no going wrong her. The waitresses are awesome as well. The crowd isn’t rowdy. If you want that nice dive bar type feel with out the trouble that can sometimes brew, this is your place. Oh and I’m pretty sure you can bowl too. I never get the far. The bar is too amazing.

Love the tacos and edamame sans the vinegar. Drinks are reasonable and overall it’s a very mellow spot. Almost don’t want a ton of people coming here because it’s my chill spot. If the mood strikes me I’ll go bowl a game or two too, so it’s overall tons of fun. Also when the karaōke is going on its very entertaining. Not sure why it shows as 4 $$$$ because it’s fairly inexpensive.

Great place to go for a bite a game of bowling. A fun place late at night or anytime. Have a family night out bowling with some great munchies. The Torrance number 8 bus stops close by it. From the Airport bus terminal you can get there.

Who would have ever thought that you can walk into a bowling center and get more than just snack bar food. Well at the Gable House in Torrance, there is Jack’s Place, a bar located at the back of the center. Walk in and it looks like most typical bars found in bowling centers; pick up the menu and you’ll see it’s different. Cajun candied pecans, warm edamame drizzled over with sesame oil, hamburgers that are handmade and not frozen, fresh cut fries and homemade soups. The menu is a little more than I just described but need I say more? Add to that, the bartenders and servers are first rate. Super friendly with fantastic personalities…(KUDOS to Rachel, Melissa, Susan, Rebekah and Daniel who always gets my shot right…) What’s not to love about this place…

Friendly staff and great drink prices. The asada fries were really good, and the tacos(3 for $ 5) were great also! I got the steak and chicken tacos, and they were small sized tacos on corn tortilla(I love) and were very tasty.

This place recently got a facelift and its a great little bar. Tucked inside a bowling alley with great bartenders, awesome selection of booze and some pretty decent food now. Go grab some stinky rented shoes, toss a couple balls and get your drink on.

Inside of gable house bowl I really had a great time here. I came on a saturday night for karaōke and the crowd was very lively and friendly. Not too many places have a crowd that enjoys interacting. I would gladly come here again. I only wish they served tacos on saturday cause I got an odd craving for one but other than that I was very happy: D
